Olly, larry has a great chance here now with Lixus and could even be classed as a golden opportunity imvho
Five.---Larry has given us many suprises, as the co history and abysmal share price prove.---With this discovery he has a chance to redeem himself.---Lets hope he gets this right, and gives his tarnished reputation a polish.
150k buy on opening bell :-)
Larry might just suprise you this time MJ , for the first time he is dealing with a discovery not a stab in the dark so to speak and in all honesty i think chariot were very lucky to land the Anchois discovery.
...and then get the **** out of Dodge before Larry gets his eyes on a fund raise.
Chariot at 10p :D
MJ, what would it take to cheer you up ?
I swear, I snotted my tea and biscuits all over my phone when I read that Growl' :D
Haha Jinx the shorter......you had me fooled all these years !!! The depths newbies go to discredit you.....
You should consider anger management courses ! larry loves you ha ha
Don't be patronising pal. I understand quite well the differences between wild cat drilling and 'appraising a discovery', thank you very much. If you can find a dumb **** dumb enough not to, then I'd rather you kept it to yourself. Anyway, there are a myriad of reasons why you may not benefit from Lixus, like you hope. 1. Larry may/will fund raise into any rise in sp 2. Larry may/will give away far too much of Lixus to obtain a partner 3. The deal may not be a free carry so greater financial commitment 4. ...and knowing Larry, all three!
It appears you're not as clued up about Chariot as you think you are as all you seem to be aware of are the assets. Research the abysmal track record of Bottomley and his merrymen especially the last RNS. Read the H1 2019 results and tell me what you see that was the latest in a long line of stomach punches they've given out.
Mr Jinx,i am always suspicious of posters claiming to be holders but spend all of their time talking down and critisizing their own investment.Lixus as even you concede is a fantastic opportunity and i dont think you understand the difference between appraising a discovery and drilling wildcat style. The Anchois well intercepted a 90m column containing 55ft of net pay and they have five further satellites within the licence that could be tied in estimated to total 2TCF.Then factor in the high local gas price and demand, the company have indeed struck lucky there and is the sort of play they should have started with years ago...they could have been a ftse 250 outfit by now.
Anyways please try to keep it civil MJ we are due some very exciting newsflow that might even please you !
Me, a shorter? Hahaha, that's funnier than the 'off and on' comment. :D Oh my god, my sides...! :D. If you really have been aware of Chariot and been invested, then o would assume you've read this BB. If so, you'd laugh at yourself for such a stupid comment. Listen, I would love for Larry to all of a sudden turn into the most trustworthy CEO on AIM but unfortunately, he ain't. Neither is he even close to being the most competent. He's not even a great geologist given the amount of times his 'in-house' geology team have played some right stinkers.
Larry and the board have been given the most outlandish opportunity that they really don't deserve in Lixus. I hope to God he doesn't eff it up but I can't help thinking he will and I'm not alone thinking that. So, my negativity isn't me trying to short, my friend, it's because I've been kicked in the nads by Bottomley and the Bod's so many times, you're just fearful of the next crappy revelation.
Hahaha.. :D 'on and off'....lol.
Mr Jinx,i have probably been in chariot for longer than you on and off and i can assure you i am well aware of the company history and the quality of their assets. As i said earlier the change of strategy to build out from a discovery development to fund the more risky plays is grounded in common sense.Lixie has a realistic chance of some good success and in terms of where chariot is at the moment will give rise to a significant re-rating.
If you are holding and planning to further short this i suggest you might be for some sleepless nights before long, but as they say it takes all sorts !
My problem is that this board has seen posters like 'fivecandles' and his/her supporters come and go like the ****s on an African holiday. The common denominator amongst them all is that they see an opportunity for 10-20%, try and whip up interest with postings of mostly irrelevance and when it doesn't pay off, they disappear. In the mean time however, LTH's have to sit and read the repetitive ****e time and time again. Crikey O'Reilly, does fivecandles not think we've read all the RNS's from 2018?
Cashfor,i think this will be a very interesting ahead here and i have a hunch that some significant JV news is not far from landing. The ceo has given a few clues in very recent interview that they have had an amazing response in their data room.
Moving on up again by the looks...in at the bottom but be quick :)
Fivecandles is only sharing knowledge with the board dont see what your problem is .
The key difference is they now have a discovery development appraisal backed up with detailed CPR and not just going down the wilcats all or nothing approach.Larry Bottomly gave an interview a short while ago where he stated the plan was to get Lixie moving next year which means they would have to get the JV signed off very soon.He also stated they have had overwhelming interest including from oil majors,so not quite the dull picture you paint.
Take a look at video

You should also note that cash is projected to be £9m at the turn of the new year. So not the mCap=cash equivalent that you state.
Honestly fella, you should have on a Chariot ra-ra skirt and be waving pom-poms. Do you not think we've read everything that's Chariot has spewed out over the last six years? Seriously, who are you trying to convince?
Some info on Morocco : The Anchois discovery is in Tertiary-aged turbidite reservoirs that occur above a nappe emplaced during the Alpine orogeny and the pay sands have a characteristic and anomalous seismic signature. The Company has identified five satellite prospects to Anchois that have tie-back potential, three of which have been audited by NSAI, and Chariot estimate that Anchois and the satellites holding remaining recoverable resources in excess of 900 Bcf.The excellent quality reservoirs in the Anchois discovery offers the potential for high rate wells and the consequent possibility of a low-cost development. In combination with excellent commercial contract terms in a country with high gas prices in a developing market and growing energy demand, the Anchois discovery offers the potential for a material, high-value project. The low risk prospect inventory offers running room with additional, low-cost tie-back opportunities.
The northern margin of Morocco is thought to be analogous to the conjugate Nova Scotia Basins where significant discoveries have been made in equivalent play systems to those that are present within Chariot’s licences, and currently being explored by third parties in the region. Two licences positioned near to legacy light oil production and oil and gas condensate fields.Geochemistry indicates the potential for a re-discovered petroleum system with hydrocarbon migration from a Cretaceous or younger source rock.Upper Jurassic reservoir quality sandstones and effective seal encountered in Rabat Deep 1 which supports the key play elements of the prospects in Mohammedia & Kenitra.MOH-B 637mmbbls is an attribute supported, 3-way dip and fault closed prospect in 400m WD targeting Upper Jurassic deltaic clastics and described by the 3D seismic programme acquired in 2017.KEN-A 445mmbbls is an attribute supported, Upper Jurassic clastic prospect in 750m WD defined by the 3D seismic programme acquired in 2017.
Yes that is how i see it ,this could be one the biggest gainers in the next week or two IMO,when they got hold of the Anchois discovery it was a game changer for them and the new strategy looks solid. There is some really good info and video of their morocco play on their website that is worth a view as it shows how key it is to the country and region.A very high ROI :-)
Thanks for that...so pretty large upside on news then. No downside as at cash level. atb
