Because it was someone on this board who said 50p to 70p was the likely target figure. That's fine, I'm just asking where it has come from, how did the person reach those estimates as no research I have done leads me to that answer.
As it was suggested by this BB it's legitimate to ask how that number has emerged don't you think?
Earthling I'm starting to think you might be the only investor left here :)
Usually BBs are full of ppl falling over themselves to provide would-be investors with information. It's pretty stagnant here, uninspiring and likely part of the reason the SP is doing absolutely nothing.
Shame, as got potential this has
give it a rest, why would anyone do your research for you`?
actually that spread has come down massively so sorry about that. When I looked yesterday it was 20p to buy with a SP at 17.15 !!
Also, why is there no volume on this stock? Not seen that before
hi all. Well, I say all loosely ;)
On a serious note could anyone please educate me as to where the 50-70p target comes from?
It obviously hit that price on its way down but from what I can see that doesn't seem to be a particularly strong level. We can't be saying that's a price target because of a brief spell it had at that level, the price needs to be based on forecasts on partnerships revenue etc.. if you follow.
Like I said before, definitely interested in the stock but want to know what a realistic price target is, based on something tangible and want in at a decent level. 15-17p seems strong support but the spread is ridiculous. MMs not helping move this SP upwards at all
https://www.c4xdiscovery.com/news/press-releases/result-of-placing-2020-may.html If you download the pdf at the bottom of the page it states that the May placing should provide around 12 months working capital so I wouldn't expect a placing so soon.
Dix (CD) is quite impressive in terms of his business acumen and also very well respected within his field. CD and the helm and his hand-picked staff of SME coupled with CDs contacts within big Pharma, I don't see how investors can give this one a pass :)
He certainly seemed genuinely remorseful. I know he has a big stake of his own money in as well (which is a good sign) so that can't have been easy.
His rationale for having a placing was arguably correct in that it puts them in best possible position to be able to negotiate a great deal from partnering but as that's not materialised yet it's leading to a depressed SP & poor sentiment.
Mind if I ask how the maths stack up for a 50p - 70p SP based on one partnering please?
Thanks
I think they'd be better to wait until the SP goes up to around 50 - 70p on partnering news. Next placing will need to have good value after the bag of nails last year. Even Dix was embarrassed at that one.
Earthling what on EARTH are you on???
I have nothing but positive things to say about this company and its future, hence why I want to invest dingus!!
My questions were aimed at anybody looking in or invested that has an opinion on the finances because it looks to me (after my research!) like a placing is imminent. Was hoping I'd be shot down in flames with people bombarding me with reasons as to why that's not the case and quoting this deal and that deal in the pipeline which are going to turn the company to profitability. Maybe people would know things I don't or that I had overlooked.
As I've had nothing here but tumbleweed and your ramblings then I assume my research is correct and there will be another placing soon so I'll look to buy in then at a better price because like I say the company got huge potential.
no - they said they were funded for the next 12 months only recently (i think)
we may well get a placement before end of year, although thats when they said we are funded up to.
Then again we may not
I'm defo not doing your research for you
I don't care if you buy in or not
Paying money and taking a chance is more fun when at a Casino. This is an investment so needs to be considered differently.
I want to get into a company with huge potential that is relatively cheap, so there is scope for large gains. Obviously the likes of BT don't fit that bill so here I am.
I have been trying to ascertain whether the company is likely to need to raise more funds in order to continue operating. Whilst nobody knows for certain if/when a placing will come, an educated assumption can be made based on companies current cash burn, existing cash & and expected profits.
As I said before, huge potential this one but why would I risk buying in at this point when it looks to me almost inevitable that a placing will be required early next year. I can just buy then. Sorry if you already invested here and will be diluted but like I say, that's happened to me on other shares so it's par for the course. Can't blame me for not wanting to make the same mistake.
If you don't see a placing on the cards, please educate me. I really would like to hear the reasonings as to why not as if compelling enough I'll buy in!
Thanks in anticipation.
we've been through this before re companies making a profit, maybe the likes of BT and direct line would be more up your street?
Do you think anyone knows when a placement is due for any company?
We were told funded until the end of year by which time (4 months) I’m expecting the SP to be higher
We are due news as not had it on any new molecule for some time now
You pay your money you take your chance
I like to be certain with my investments.
Is a placing on the cards Earthling? I believe the company has enough cash to see it through until end of this year but if it's not in profit by then, then guess there's no alternative but to have a placing?
I've been stung before by that so it's a mistake I'd not like to make again.
This company has a lot going for it in my view and definitely want in but at the right time/best price I can get. I'm sure you understand.
Cheers
Yes you’ve been looking in for over a month lols
I'm looking to get into this but I believe another placing is likely just around the corner. Any thoughts on that?
