Lovely sentiment. It's just a shame that for you, professional standard is when someone uses punctuation.
So you think, after I do you the courtesy of providing a fair-minded, if incomplete, assessment of what has happened so far - which ends with what I think is a reassuring view of the next 6 months for shareholders despite the damage so far - you think an appropriate follow-up is, 'Yeah, but what do you think happens next? I think it's going to 17p. Don't know why....' Not even if this is the first share you bought after a 10yr extended period of potty training, does that deserve to put out into the world, let alone deserve a reasoned response. Well done, you made me regret responding to you already. Bye.
No no, flat, none taken. Your constant snarky references to me in your posts were obviously meant as a compliment. Anyway, you were clearly trying to goad me into responding, so mission accomplished. Here I am. Go nuts....in fact, I'll even give you some ammo to get you started: Q. Did I get the share price wrong? A. yup. But was there anything in the actual results that I feel justified in any way the quantum of the fall since they reiterated H2 guidance and the rhetoric around the Cityfibre deal remains upbeat ? nope. Q. In fact, you were so convinced it was the cheapest tech name in the market at 40p, you must think its unique value at this point? A. yup. Take out the cash and the value of its wholly owned real estate in Boston and Rome, and you own all 3 major - projected to grow - operating business virtually for nothing. Q.So why has the sp done so poorly, genius? Don't you think if management agreed with you, they should be promoting the hell out the stock? A. yup. they have summarily failed so far, but I believe there has been reason(s) for their silence, and that is finally starting to change. I expect September to be the start of a much more visible PR period. Q.So why is the sp below 30p?!?!? Surely it can't be only because management and Shore have maintained radio silence for 6 months?!?!!? A. No, but falling out of the TA-125 and the 28m shares that traded on the exit date of 9 Aug, could go a decent way to explaining the more severe weakness that started as much as 2 months before 9 Aug (as Israeli instos got wind of the impending ejection and started shorting the shares), and has continued since as the net selling (there was a big short position into the rebalance date) has taken time to be absorbed. quick note: the fact that this massive impact on the share price has hardly gotten a mention here is a bit disturbing, but that's for another time. Q. So what now? A. As I alluded to earlier, I believe the management is already stepping up its marketing (from nothing, admittedly), starting with a roadshow to instos with Shore Cap soon and then, my hope, a closing of the deal with Citryfibre which I believe will be transformational and also allow the buyback to restart.....Like I said, take your best shot.....
your right ..... just sell this is crap ... going down 24/7 waste of time!
It's getting clos to that 25p now. Must confess, that i would be tempted to buy some then...but falling knife etc
"I do agree that it's probably best to wait before buying as 25p does seem inevtable here quite soon. Never thought I'd see this one at such a price and glad I didn't buy."
Dartron, Just checked and BVC is listed on the main market not AIM.
I do agree that it's probably best to wait before buying as 25p does seem inevtable here quite soon. Never thought I'd see this one at such a price and glad I didn't buy.
Poor results, this ought to drop below 30p now IMO.
Why anyone would put money in here is beyond me. Even the good tech stocks are dropping heavy at the moment.
You would be better holding cash than holding BVC. This company should de-list, no reason for it to be on AIM.
My further error. Shore's FY2022 forecast profit should be in dollars.
Shore's forecast for H1 is $79m revenue, $9m EBITDA and $6.3m PBT.
ACTUAL:
Revenue: $61m (inc. $11m FX effect so a $7m shortfall due to covid testing dropping away)
EBITDA: $3.7m (inc. $1m FX effect)
PBT: $0.7m
Shore's H2 forecast:
Revenue forecast: $85.9m
EBITDA: $13.4m
PBT: $11m
There's an order book and back log that supports this and new agreements reached during H1 that wouldn't show value.
I hadn't anticipated the FX effect although that's a translation effect rather than impacting the business as such. Looking at it negatively it's more jam tomorrow and little jam today however it is also true that BVC have navigated a difficult period and have technologies which are disruptive and that are high margin, largely unaffected by inflation and that meet growing needs of health and security (i.e. defensive markets). And is cash generative.
I'm glad I topped up and look forward to H2 however the H1 results also explain the share price drops and how we arrive to a 30p/share current point. Using the FY2024 forecast profit I can see how this can revert to at least 60p/share. Much more if Shore's forecasts prove too conservative.
GLA
The share price was over 90p a year ago. It has dropped about 70% since then and the latest results don't look great.
Well I will be adding some more, outlook is looking very good to me... glad to get away from that covid share thing as that is not why I am building a holding here, I really like the ADOR shareholding of 37.2% in the Natlab, if they can get it to work its a game changer!
Will RNS make a difference to SP?
My error. I included full year FY2022 forecast profit.
Shore's forecast for H1 is £79m revenue, £9m EBITDA and £6.3m PBT.
I've just added to my holding here.
It feels like an eternity since Zvi did an interview but of course the last update was only last month.
Last year's interim was on the 23rd August so we will know the truth of BATM's progress.
Shore's forecast for H1 is £79m revenue, £18.1m EBITDA and £12.7m PBT.
My sense is that the Network division will be ahead of forecast and the bio-medical below (due to declining covid test sales), but overall above. But then again why appoint a new head of bio-medical in July if the division is doing badly?
I can actually see your pain and see why waiting is your game so to speak ... there is no reason for this to be at 33p or even 80p .... it is the market doing its thing ... greed and manipulation with funds that work together for their gain!
...you plant a seed, you watch the tree grow, then you pick the fruit and find it has a wasp in it? Hopefully not here, but all too often the case.
lol flatcap ... yes the market will do that ... meanwile ....PCCW Global will use Telco Systems’ NFVTime uCPE solution to offer managed SD-WAN, router and firewall services through its global network of nearly 200 wholesale partners operating in over 160 countries ...BATM Interim results coming up ...about160% below fair value .... adding more here!
looks worth more than a punt x4 bagger ... still building .....https://wire19.com/edge-computing-to-soon-unlock-significant-business-opportunities/?fbclid=IwAR2xULgQ6nslFJxV0BbNPwZ4JFteWwnYDRVY9CZ4ApRziaLXyaAd5ZURv5Q
