A worldwide Covid-19 testing network is to be incorporated into Iata Travel Pass certification app.
European diagnostic services provider Unilabs will become one of the first major lab groups to be integrated into the app.
Unilabs will be able to securely upload test results in Iata Travel Pass, which are then checked against a global registry of national health requirements, to produce an ‘OK to Travel’ status.

Said it before and will say it again, a network of Paraytec’s tests with bolt on 5G data transfer offering incredible super speed for the NHS track and trace across all county’s via a super fast, super accurate test with the ability to test either an individual or mass scale/matrix/pooling with platform tech combined with its user friendly non clinical design would be a system up to the job of routinely screening the population, getting ahead of the virus and therefore protecting lives and livelihoods.
It would be an absolute travesty not to deploy this Next Gen Tech on a national scale which would offer a fast, accurate, robust, digitally connected defence against Covid and other pathogens.
This explains our place.
Likewise Netbox, good post mate!
Thank you for that post codejunkie and well done on your investment with Avacta...
Exactly Codejunkie
I think a lot of people are invested in both but as you say they are a different type of test and will be used in different situations.
I've often wondered on this BB why people talking down and totally destroying/deramping one test and are making it out that only one can be good when in fact both have a place on the market and as you say can be used in different situations.
Slightly confused as to why Avacta took such a big drop from the initial high, but that's for the Avacta BB I guess and not here.
It would be really interesting to know what the expected cost of the Paraytec shoebox device would be and it's costs to use/service etc but I'm sure that might be a while yet before there as an exact figure. Probably not something a household would consider purchasing but who knows.
Will be interesting tomorrow both for BRH and Avacta to see if there is any bounce back/correction with today seemingly a poor day for the market in general.
...the thing you're missing here is that they are different tests for different purposes. LFT's can be bought cheaply and give a very good indication - Avacta's test is a highly sensitive LFT test - it uses a piece of paper and relies on chemical reaction
You're comparing it with something that is hardware based but you need a base station to get a result. Avacta's is a simple swab and test, based on a chemical reaction
Man on the street is not going to buy themselves a base station, but they will buy a cheap test.
The idea is to get people into the habit of testing regularly and that has to be relatively cheap and quick. It is not meant to be PCR accurate. Its meant to pick up symptomatic and asymptomatic with the least possible false pos/negs.
Horses for courses. You're comparing two different types of test.
Commercially, whilst you may not like it, the AVACTA test has more appeal because of cost ,the ability to distribute easily and existing infrastructure to manufacture (BBI, Mologic, and Abingdon). People are more likely to take a simple test than having to go somewhere to queue up to have a test.
Yes I am an AVACTA investor and have been from 16p. The Braveheart test is immensly accurate and does have a lot of promise. However its about finding a route to market.
AVACTA are one step closer today.
For sure, nearly everything was in the red today, or certainly the stocks I watch/invest in.
Makes you think Braveheart did well to hold even today although I find BRH a bit of an oddball stock anyway historically, when it comes to following the crowd. When most stocks are down BRH goes up and vice versa, strange sometimes how things work.
I'm sure the next week or so will be interesting but if March is anything to go by BRH might just flatline until the very last moment then everyone will pile in. That is fine but you always run the chance of missing out on getting in at a good price.
If last month's RNS is anything to go by, buying in now at these prices makes them an absolute bargain.
I smell some bullshieete there . . Come on as well casper or are still looking at Typhoo Tea leaves . IG SB short closed now . Nice 4k up . Im getting a bit like the slime ball CEO these days .Has he fallen off that mountain in Switzerland yet hope so toxxer.
I feel we didn't rise today due to the wider bear market.. next day or two big move upwards as news creeps closer
I'm in for more. Carl is positive and good news is going to follow, hopefully not first thing tomorrow
It will be interesting to see what is mentioned in the upcoming RNS about CE certification and of course the roadmap ahead to bring the test to production status.
Of course the clinical trials is going to be very big news but the CE/cert is massive. Once that is obtained I think this will really see a huge interest from many investors. Sure there will always be day traders ready to make a quick 10-20% but the value/mcap of this stock will be a lot higher than current levels once that certification is granted.
Not long to wait now.
Almost get the feeling the Prof is on a mission here to produce a world leading Covid 19 portable test and go down in history.
I for one will be purchasing even more tomorrow genuinely the chance for serious returns is mind blowing.
Why the disappointment? Excuse the naivety
Precisely Casper, that’s why I’m very disappointedly with AVCT’s RNS.
