You seem to be ignoring what is happening with SKIN
Avacta does have a 5 minute Antigen saliva test that is now poised to go into mass production in the uk - but the Brh Paraytec Test is the only other useful competition as it stands (ODX test already obsolete) so hopefully they will fast track things as soon as possible and if successful well we can certainly Expect tickets to the moon and also say goodbye to BRH’s already insultingly low mkt cap of 7mil on this small part of Brh portfolio alone
"There are only two companies offering a 5 minute test solution. One is Avacta and the other Paraytec Limited (as announced in the BRH rns on 5/8/20)."
Avacta doesn't have a five minute test.
"Mass testing in the millions per day was always the requirement in the absence of a vaccine and/or therapeutic. "
Mass testing will be required even with a vaccine and/or therapeutic.
There are only two companies offering a 5 minute test solution. One is Avacta and the other Paraytec Limited (as announced in the BRH rns on 5/8/20).
Interesting times if both companies provide tests around the same timeframe.
Mass testing in the millions per day was always the requirement in the absence of a vaccine and/or therapeutic. Can Paraytec deliver via the Condor program? The clock is ticking. The rewards of unlocking economies is vast.
Test, test, test
The portfolio holdings look very interesting. Why do they only have a value of just over £1m in the last report for all of their holdings ( 20 or so ). Surely it’s got to be worth much more. Any LTH’s here that know.

Professor Carl Smythe commented "We continue to make progress in the development of this novel approach to testing for Coronavirus. A key requirement is the ability to deliver a test result with very fast turnaround. The current gold standard uses PCR which involves repeated rounds of enzyme-catalysed production of DNA corresponding to known viral genes, a process that takes several hours, and requires access to highly specialised lab equipment. Other approaches have begun to be rolled out (see https://www.gov.uk/government/news/roll-out-of-2-new-rapid-coronavirus-tests-ahead-of-winter). These, while avoiding specialised equipment, nonetheless also target viral genes, generating a positive signal via an enzyme-catalysed reaction, which takes 1.5 hours. This of necessity reduces the number of tests that can be performed in any one day. Our approach, in which viral attachment to affinity macromolecules may be imaged directly using a highly sensitive detection system, has the potential both to undertake many tests in parallel, as well as delivering results in minutes, all without the need for trained health professionals for their operation.
