This is getting beyond a joke.
While the IM is on location there will be frequent supply boat attendances and helicopter landings. If you had videos of the items being offloaded and backloaded and personnel arriving and leaving you would not have a clue what it was or who they were and how they impacted on the ongoing operations.
Does Palm Beach VTS have a website for outbound / inbound vessel movements?
This is normally available online for major ports.
Also if anyone lives local and has a VHF Ch.09 for Pilots and Ch.12 for VTS. Pilots will be booked via agent but confirmed 1-2hrs before departure over Ch.09 or through VTS ch.12
You're welcome ;)
Yesterday there were 3 flights to Stena Icemax & today 1 so far and has landed back at Nassau Airport 2.26 pm
Also, the Stena Icemax offshore supply ship arrived back in the US port of Palm Beach. I will keep a lookout for
she sets sail back to the Icemax...busy times right now for everyone concerned in Bahamas Petroleum operations.

Just returned and landed back at Nassau ................................... penny for ya thoughts :)
what we need is a contact in Nassau to meet the crew LOL
Indeed qnard
Wasn't criticism of the reports, please keep going, I was responding to Noviceinv's comments on what the board has turned into (I REFUSE to add a four letter word at this point..)
I for one enjoy the flight reports -- keep it up --- it gives some sort of indicator with whats going on. A possible crew change seems likely observing the flight patterns over yesterday and today.
Worse than a pre-pubescents playground..
As Harry says the SP is going nowhere until the results, yeah you might get a +- 10% day but everyone is waiting for the results. Yes there is not much else to do during lockdown so following flight radar for some might just be something to pass the day! Or yes switch off and protect your mental health. You will go wild on good news or cry on bad, I think it’s going to be good. 45 days next Tuesday but I am hoping it goes to the full 60, for me the longer the better as more testing will have needed to be done! If nothing then they might have even finished now! So lots of time left to have fun and play, guessing the sp is a joke guessing what pizza they have ordered is fun! When the fun stops, stop.
Sharepicks - the same helicopter made 3 trips to and from the icemax yesterday ! Safe to say it’s a crew change
so 100% a big helicopter just landed on the drill ship we know therefore it can only be
1. Crew Change
2. Management visit
39 days into drill its starting to get very real here good luck
Wish it was Harry Potter, he could magic a couple of billion barrels :-)
I have stayed away for a few days from this board. What on Earth has it turned into. My god
i think its landed or theyve turned off radar
Are we seriously getting exited about a shift/personal change via a helicopter?
Not really the answer I was looking for Harry
You will all be wetting yourselves if Potter gives tonight’s presentation from the IceMax. Sitting next to Hubert Ingram.
Can someone smarter than me please enlighten me as to why all the excitement about the Helicopter visits to IceMax. This seems to be happening almost daily
7am their time flight time left approx 10 mins
its the same chopper as a https://www.bristowgroup.com/fleet/heavy-twins/sikorsky-s-92

Also if they decide to test, then usually the test gear and crew are sent out only when needed, with non essential drill crew going to town to keep the head count down during testing.
However I don't know what is already on the Icemax and what it can accommodate.
