Some interesting views on wealth n health.... personally I'm only in this share malarky for two reasons... profit and....erm... oh no, actually just one. As for health, I dont suppose I'll make it past 99 years so I'm already over halfway out. tick tock Beer o'clock...
That was a bit premature & with the 15 min price delay, lol - still, no doubt see it back up with Buying around this level and the aforementioned news to 'pull' the price.

On a seperate note, it's good to see any slight dip off the 2p OO level, being strongly bought into - good stability until the next but of News, which we should hopefully have very shortly.
For sure, one or the other it's a no brainer, with 'Health' winning out......but to have Health & Wealth would be more desireable.
Good food, travel, private medical facilities.......why not!

No. If you have no money its stressful. Stress is the number one cause of bad health. People eat badly as a result and the body behaves in all sorts of weird and wonderful ways to stress . I have never bought into the "Money wont bring you happiness" thing. its will. Try me.
agree on the value in health Bonum.
perhaps we can agree on a value to both health and happiness?
money just enables you to do and have 'stuff'.
What you do can occasionally help improve both health and happiness but can offer no guarantees.
Rich/Poor - It's all about 'good health', imho......
I simply view being poor as having less than you need at the time that you need it.
I have been poor and miserable, poor and happy, rich and miserable, rich and happy.
I prefer rich and happy, I would settle for poor and happy over rich and miserable and I feel for anyone who is poor and miserable.
If my circumstances changed and I became less comfortable than I am financially today but still far more comfortable than I was in my late teens I would probably feel more poor now with more money than I did then. However at that time I felt rich compared to where I was in my early teens.
Everything is relative to what you know
I feel desolate after reading this thread....
Feeling poor as in your description which is basically less rich and literally being poor, unable to eat or heat your home (if you have one) are vastly different
having millions does not make one a pauper....normally.
it depends on the social circle in which yo live and what you ad before you have millions.
If you started with billions and only have a couple of million left you probably feel poor based on where your historic wealth was.
me I feel rich if I have 20 euros and I am in a bar selling 1 euro beer.
I feel poor if I have 10 euros and I am outside a bar in Monaco
Having millions does not make one a pauper.
So they should (pay more taxes) , they have literally trapped all the money.
Also he does have a point realistically who needs over 1b?
In 2016, the top 1 percent of taxpayers accounted for more income taxes paid than the bottom 90 percent combined. The top 1 percent of taxpayers paid roughly $538 billion, or 37.3 percent of all income taxes, while the bottom 90 percent paid about $440 billion, or 30.5 percent of all income taxes.13 Nov 2018.
A few million would be plenty for me. I don't have any problem with billionaires coughing up more than anyone else.
I suggest anyone close to becoming a billionaire, or already over that line, who agrees with Labour should be free to pass surplus funds my way until such time as I approach that billionaire status. If at that stage I change my view and agree with the Labour policy I will play it forward to the next future almost billionaire.
My only flaw with the plan is that to comply fully I would need to be back in the UK otherwise with the donations I just become another billionaire expat.
'No one needs to be a billionaire', Labour Party says
..... jeez, let’s all live like paupers instead...
