HFB i see lots of play here, and after looking at your posts/rechearch i can see an upside and a good rise upwards if the outcome/news is positive, Boil has had a run of bad luck over the past few years i hope that the tide will turn in your favour xx
Or as nicely put by ex Petronas and the new minister after his appointment last year
new petroleum minister, Vítor da Conceição Soares, is saying that data supporting the Greater Sunrise plan was tailored to fit the ambition: “The cart has been put before the horse.”
as keep saying our snail pace reprocessing of the old data 2012/13 Kyranis 3d in psDm
vice origiinal psTm will have zero bearing on a deep pocketed offshore operator coming
to knock on the door, why would they wait for our 800sq km (immediate ch1 area)
when they have the tech available now to do the entire 3,571 sq km 3d in HOURS as next
door sunrise operator did for it's 3,200 sq km 3d late last year and probably cheaper
as said, the key to that move is now in the hands of the East Timor Government , now
pushing for new revenues as all current dry up next year , Kitan (oil) Bayu(Gas) depleted
Sunrise has been waiting 20+ years to produce, why would ANYONE bid for the 11 new
offshore licenses, mostly expected to be gas charged, like Bayu, Sunrise and Chuditch
if Timor Leste not giving assurances about future production and processing options
Would you spend 10's of millions on new well/s on development, already knowing
Sunrise has been stranded for 20 years due to East Timor Gov insistence all processed
on the Island WHERE NO FACILITIES EXIST
They state in the pre qualification for the bid round they are looking to serious INTERNATIONAL
oil and gas companies to make bids, those that can and will fast track projects, that will speed
up the process to new revenues and taxes
Those same INTERNATIONAL companies departed 2007-2010, due to zero progress since 1999
2nd Independence vote and the official declaration of Independence 2002
If they want those taxes and revenues from returning majors and upper tier companies, they
they are going to have to (expected this year) FID Greater Sunrise and show the world it is
going to production in Darwin/Anywhere a refinery/LNG facility ACTUALLY EXISTS
and they will not end up like Shell , major sunrise jv with Conoco Phillips USA with
customers waiting for gas processed at 2nd partner Woodside's facilities in Darwin and
a 2nd license of its own mapped just as big chuditch BOTH STRANDED by new Gov
politics and policies and maritime boundary dispute
The disputes and boundaries all settled and agreed, signed off in 2018 by the 3 in dispute
East Timor , OZ and Indonesia, 2019 the new license round announced and promotional
events held in several countries since, bid round delayed a year ,until close this October
All those interested in the 11 offshore licenses, will want answers before commitment to
a return to the area and offshore exploration and development costs GLA
