No hard feelings apology accepted
Fantastic to hear that Reteps. Very pleased for you. :)
Getting slightly surreal in here
"Some may be surprised to learn that vanadium is a trace element — that means it is widely distributed in nature, with its average abundance in the continental crust coming in at about 60 parts per million"
The above can be read in this article from 2018, dub: https://investingnews.com/daily/resource-investing/battery-metals-investing/vanadium-investing/world-class-vanadium-deposits/
And I do apologise for having been a little abrasive in the last hour or so, but when some lightning hits me from out nowhere and tries to play teacher only because of a simple question, then I do get a little annoyed. This individual has been filtered and I have calmed down. So no hart feelings, please.
Exactly, faramog.
that is true .. it it is only available at trace levels @dubm..
Only 4 large mines in the world .... and guess which one has vast deposits and we own a bit of ....
Mouse,
Vanadium is not, I will repeat it slowly for you, n o t a trace element.
It is more abundant than nickle, zinc and copper.
reteps - that's great news. Breathing and working is doing good at the moment.
Reteps I am so pleased to read your update. Long may that continue.
Kind regards. Paul.
BasilBush, I am doing well, thank you. I am now 22 months post-surgery and 18 months post-chemo and radiotherapy and no signs of problems on my bi-monthly followups. I am working from home, luckily, so my chances of exposure to the dreaded lurgy are slimmer than some. I can summarise this as "upright and above room temperature" for the time being!
L2analyst well, the price is being dictated by demand, is it not? The article I my link also goes into how much there is and where. It can be found pretty anywhere, but it being a trace element, it can be economically not worth mining it.
I also had a look at some piccies of vanadium. It looks very pretty :-) and I like pretty stuff :-)
I have seen that video along time ago, thanks for posting the link, L2analyst, I couldn't find it. Just now I found an article about Vanadium from 2018 and in which Bushveldt is being mentioned as one of five (if I have counted correctly) with the economically most significant deposits. That makes me very happy :-)

BMN will rise when the business proves itself to be great value yet again and big investors like GS and those that DON'T frequent on BB's invest.
BRG might need his fake friend(2nd account) to come along and support his postings again.
DL, some people don't try to make money at the expense of others. Obviously that isn't something you would understand.

That is fine, everybody can buy or sell at anytime, we are all to make money
For example, I have holding in VAST, KOD, PREM, UKOG even few K of money in all of them
But honestly I do not belong there so whenever I am bored or one make 20-30 % in few days I sell
I believe many who bought in the last 3 days, they feel they do not belong here, they make thier progit or loss even and sell
BMN will reach the true value gradually with day traders with LTH with whatever it is
Also who remembers Des? #freedes
We all know what kind of investor (ie the ones who don't own shares) only appear on downward moves. They let everyone else talk the share up and then they arrive from the gutter that is Advfn to talk it down.
Trying to pass Capa off as a new investor who should be listened to, when even Capa knows he is a wind-up merchant is an entirely new level of ludicrous.
BR - there is nothing genuine about you or your posts. I suggest everyone just green bins him.
Do shut up brgmg. You are a truly nasty individual.
That post is such nonsense.
If you have something useful to say about BMN fine. Otherwise stop arrogantly trying to bully contributors to this bb.
Completely agree Paul. Let's move onto what matters - our beautiful Bushveld.
Hope you and Su are keeping well buddy : )
I have emailed admin requesting removal of the lying trolls SteveD86 and PAyres.
And on another topic Libero and RK are not the same. Fact. Nice to see Libero expressing enthusiasm for his investment. Too many regulars here all too keen to be negative at first sign of sp fall.
Can we stop focussing on posters and concentrate on BMN.
Yeah, my holding has never been larger either, it's always been my largest holding since buying in 7 years ago, and it's actually always been one of my most successful too (it's taken longer than expected but nevertheless I'm significantly in profit).
And I intend to continue to grow my holding whilst we still can at these sorts of bargain prices.
Because in a relatively short amount of time the Eskom news will land, and the share price will never be the same again (in an amazing way of course!)
A bit similar to you Libero
Just sold couple of hundreds in the way up at 22p and 32p
But my holding now is bigger than ever of the last 7 years
BMN desreve lots or ramp, it is the best in AIM
As I said 100p early summer 2021
* hump (not jump)!
Bloody autocorrect
Also should point I haven’t sold a single share ever, inclusive of this week. Instead I honestly have topped up a lot (across 5 smallish chunks), the last one being at 14.11p yesterday afternoon, because I truly believe this is our time to finally break through 15p.
15p is obviously not a ceiling, it’s merely a jump to get over, and then there’s a clear easy path to 20p and above. If we are self-defeatist in mentality, it will be a self-fulfilling prophecy that we can’t breach through. And that’s nonsense of course, especially now that Golden Summit are almost out the picture.
As someone said the other day this is just like October 2013 when Obtala offloaded millions of shares and caused the share price to fall to a level it should never have reached. And, rightly so, we all saw that as a major buying opportunity and had the self-belief this would rise dramatically... which then saw a 100%+ rise in November 2013.
And I believe history is going to repeat itself this year. This re-rate is well overdue. And this rise is different to the ones earlier in the year when GS still had tens of millions of shares to sell because they’re running on fumes now.
All IMHO. Ignore me if you want.
