I doubt you could have done a much better sales pitch Libero but it didn't sound like he really wanted convincing to me.
probably best to go elsewhere then eccles if that is your style of investing.
Hmm, not convinced yet Libero, found another AIM stock last year which does pay divs and has given me nearly 25% so far, suspect that it will be quite a while before BMN shows the same DYOR.
In fact we sort of did get a sizeable dividend a few years back when we all received free ATM shares when that was spun off. If that counts. But yeah it's irrelevant here to be honest.
Bushveld is instead focused on becoming the most comprehensive vertically-integrated vanadium play worldwide, and the largest primary producing miner outside of China, and that's way more important than having paying out dividends to shareholders. That will come later down the line.
Hi eccles,
Hope you're well? (It's been a while since I sold DLG!)
If you're looking for dividends, Bushveld is not the one for you. There was some talk of this a while back but that's gone right on the back burner, and rightly so when you consider how Bushveld is very much in "growth mode" and therefore have instead chosen to reinvest all money back into the business... with tremendous success!
The NAV has multiplied thousands of times over the past 5-6 years in the most remarkable way you won't see anywhere else, and there's multi-faceted plans to continue that growth in the years ahead with:
- Works planned to massively increase vanadium production. This will make Bushveld the largest vanadium miner outside of China for decades to come. Meanwhile vanadium commodity prices are expected to average out at $45kgV vs production costs of $18kgV. We're not far off that $45kgV sweet spot at the moment (must be around $36-37kgV) and it could rise much higher of course when there's such a large structural deficit.
- Projects such as the construction of the Electrolyte Production Plant. This will mean Bushveld are able to produce electrolyte that can be either sold off or leased out to companies like EDF Renewables - where an agreement is already in place!
- and much more!
So yeah I believe it's the right that there are no dividends at present and no dividends planned for the foreseeable future.
Know you like your dividends mate (so do I) but you need to look past that here, because otherwise you will pass up on the investment opportunity of a lifetime.
All IMHO. DYOR of course. And best of luck to you matey : )
Just forget Dividends, none until at least Autumn 2023 when wonderful 2022 results are signed off.
Not that I have yet dipped a toe Libero although tempted but we have been hearing all this for a couple of years now and still no siign of any divs.
- Ridiculously low market valuation at present vs any analysis of Fair Value. Let’s not forget annualised production has already increased almost 40% since the start of the year, and is due to increase so much more over the next year. On this basis alone, ignoring all the exciting non-mining/Green operations, we should be at 35-40p already. [As I went into some detail on yesterday]
- Green Stock as well as an excellent mining stock.
- Investors Chronicle, Financial Times, Myles McNulty, and many others have all tipped BMN in recent weeks.
- Out of hundreds of companies, Stockopedia came up with their Top 20 tips for 2021, and BMN came 3rd (and will do better than the two above it!)
- Vanadium prices have risen massively in recent weeks, and are expected to reach $40-45gV at the bare minimum this year, and BMN's share price always seem to track the commodity price sooner or later (Don't actually think that's fair necessarily but that's what has happened for years, and that's now a very very good thing!)
- Vanadium prices are now rising so fast I believe we will see $45kgV within the next month or two!
