@Orphidian. Good info thanks. I’m a long term holder"
but by 20:23 same day "Just for brief background. I only purchased £5k of shares at 22p very recently after a few weeks of studying a few mining and tech stocks."So very recently makes you a long term holder does it - not in my book
——————-
My point was I’m not a day trader and am aiming to hold shares for the long term
Bit of a boys club you lot of skilled investors are.
That said, I do pick up some good learnings from a lot posted in here.
I did read all the trades comments before I wrote also.
I’m lost on the troll 2018 point but think a plss take
Indeed Ophidian, what he doesn't know is that he's been on our troll watch list since 31st August 2018.
@Alwaysone you said " I've rarely found a share that correlates to buys and sells on any day or few days." - that's because by your own admission, you've been too chicken shlt to own shares since 2004. Then again you are full of it aren't you 9-dec 12:29...… "Good info thanks. I’m a long term holder"

So very recently makes you a long term holder does it - not in my book. You are a fraud and a waste of time. Please just jog on and stfu.
Ophidian
Alwaysone - maybe if you paid attention to what other people are writing you might learn something.
I' m not sure why you all look at trades so much to be honest. Clearly buying and selling, supply and demand is how the market works and MMs work their margin each day, but I've rarely found a share that correlates to buys and sells on any day or few days. The MMs do what they think best on the share price alongside the trades. It's still interesting looking at trades now and then but I've often seen price rises when more shares sold.
When I bought this morning, the mid-price was being reported as 21.75. I was offered 21.5 and later 21.6-something by my platform (HL), thus my two buys came in under the mid-price and are simplistically reported as sells. The colouring of trades is determined by whether the trade is below (red), at (black) or above (blue) the midpoint price at the time. Nothing whatsoever to do with what actually was going on in many cases.
Does it matter either way? Won't affect the sp.
Bring on the news though!!
Confused am I .
How come a sea of red when folk on here are saying they have done buys.
is there an agenda to misrepresent the true position and if so why?
Expect this might get deleted which will confirm there is an agenda!!
KN
And now they delay reporting two 150k sells but they actually appear to be sells - what kind of game is this
My 10k trade at 9.32 is showing as a sell @ 21.49. It was a buy, so by offering shares below the mid-price they show as sells and give an unclear picture of trading.
stodgy88 - well only false if unlike those here you think the colour coding means diddly squat
How come it,s readily excepted that trades are reported wrongly ,therefore giving a false (fraudulent ) look to the days trading.
Alpha, yes the 50000 at 8.46am showing as a sell.
Rej23 - is your trade showing yet ?
Just bought 50000 at 21.48, so see what colour that is..!
And their blues
Looks like the colouring in department have got their reds and blacks mixed up again
The 30,000 @ 08:18:47 was my buy, as was the subsequent 20,000.
It looks like the two 'sells' at 21.5p were probably buys, the offer has risen to 21.68p (not live).
Bring on the news! :)
21.5p to buy and to sell with II.
That will confuse us! Obviously everything will show as sells for a while....
