alamo/ or we go up in smoke
Al, I'm determined to see this through, whether I'm dead or alive. Lol.
Eric we will be six feet under soon ,
Al, it's like watching paint dry. We need a break here.
It does make you smile when is says 0% change on the day, ha ha ha
And the Government is the birdcage. We aren't free to operate.
And here we sit like birds in the wilderness....waiting.
Yes, that wouldn't be good at all.
It’s one thing to be under water EricDraven, quite another to invest knowing that you’ll be in the red immediately.
Yes Pocko, that's my point. I've never sold any of my shares here (unless you count a one-off Bed & ISA) but it is important not to buy more knowing that the mms are laughing in your face. Supposing you then had to sell due to an emergency? Immediate massive loss incurred on this spread. So it does matter. We need to see a fair system.
Al, it's as if the mms just want to see this dormant for now. I suppose without the Kallak decision news it is a real chore to create a market here for them. So they aren't bothering. Lol.
Not until the spread closes. I don’t want to be immediately locked in... But I will be buying again
I wondered where that had gone, glad it's not just me.... big buy tomorrow then?
The market in Sweden has greater liquidity, primarily because the spread is negligible. Unfortunately, we can no longer see the order book on Spotlight...
That’s fair enough Suzy2, but plenty do care. I posted the buy and sell because I was looking to make a small buy. I didn’t, because I couldn’t face being down immediately by 25% (inclusive of fees). So it is important unfortunately. It affects anyone who wishes to trade, and as there is a lack of news flow, affects any potential new investors.
A flurry of sells this afternoon but the spread has closed up a bit..sellers getting a bit more than yesterday. Personally, I couldn't care less about the spread 'cos I only buy.
Eric , I think they’ve left the premises and turned the lights out, the spread is disgusting ,and yet people are queuing up to sell,
Pocko, the low number of trades each day kind of confirms that the spread has killed off the opportunity for most to buy and sell without feeling shafted.
I don't see how a spread this wide is at all appropriate. Kurt must be bothered by it at is keeping potential investors away.
Thanks Sooz. The problem is that all they ever appear to do is spend a lot of time talking about the issues. Nobody takes the necessary next action to actually implement changes in a timely manner, for those who badly need the jobs etc.
I'm a little fed up with the politicians debating and flapping their gums, then actually not working as a collective to really solve anything, dodging the implementation of the required follow-on action.
Busy politicking when they should Be running the country in the interests of those which they allege to serve. Typical of self-serving politicians.
Then there is the rumoured split between S and MP...that should be a bit more interesting.
Magdalena Andersson's statement has a bit more substance to it, I expect she realises money doesn't grow on trees...and this:
"According to Elisabeth Svantesson, unemployment must also be addressed.
- I understood that the Minister of Finance spent a lot of time talking about the labor market and perhaps reduced the problem of unemployment. The truth is that we are at the bottom of the EU, she says."

And as far as I can tell, Parliament has reconvened.
Yep... read it last night. It talks about ‘secondary mining’, which was interpreted by Swedish investors as the recycling of minerals. They too viewed it as waffle...
Sooz, thanks for posting that, but I'll take your word for it re the waffle.
