sorry john dont see that ???
Even HL only required 5 working days - thats outrageous !
i don't believe that is correct Mr C. Can I refer you to a whole load of discussion on (I think) last Sunday
Am I right in saying that they need a 75% FOR vote to proceed with a formal takeover offer, this is how I interpret the AIM rules ?
Voted no to 6789 on ii but Barclays said they require 10 days and you have to ring up, absolutely carp
I do hope everyone has taken the time to vote at the AGM and gone AGAINST for resolutions 6-9. The group need to put a solid message to the board that they have enough backers to help block the Ganfeng deal. Jamie Strauss and Andres Antonius are in favour of selling, therefore we should vote them down.
Dee - maybe a reminder email to the SaveBCN group?
IMO refusing to discuss a potential offer is tantamount to disgusting bordering on corrupt !
tomcat - yes I get this, but someone on a remote link doesnt have the ability to be there to give the board a hard time !
Remember to register for remote access to the AGM
Remember, also, that any questions u wish to ask need to be submitted before 2pm next Monday - u would hope that enough people ask the same question then it would be answered ......
I will be. I suspect we may all be disappointed if we thank it is going to be interesting - I imagine we will all be shouting at our laptops
you do realise everyone can attend via remote access now… that’s an advantage to many shareholders who wouldn’t normally do so for sure…
"it is with regret that the Board is unable to welcome in person all shareholders to this year's AGM and must limit physical attendance at the event to 30 people" --- OOH how convenient is this !! It is true that Covid has thrown up so many opportunities and advantages !
Agree Mr C
There is no question of the GF proposal being discussed at the AGM, that has been made plainm so whether the attendees are GF friendly is irrelevant
It would be very difficult for them to be sure who was on their side out of 30 unknowns ?
Oddly enough, Zinnwald is having its AGM at the same place three days earlier, and has not announced any restrictions on attendance (although they probably should).
So they have now limited the meeting to 30 people on a ‘first come first served’ basis, they will no doubt fill those 30 spaces with pre arranged attendees who are on their side thereby effectively shutting out any opposition to the Gangfeng proposal!
