Was a shareholder in AMER before it was bought out at a price lower than the total asset value. Sadly there is nothing we can do as pi’s.
What ‘gentlemen’s agreement’ is made prior to any deal is in private. No doubt one or two directors will have a very good secure future on the back of it.
I have not sold because I am not desperate for the cash and IF we can overturn this crazy deal eventually we have something much more valuable. WE need to re-report this as suspicious activity to FCA as no-one has been able to explain what the advantage to the board is of selling so cheaply unless there are some brown paper envelopes involved ???
I wish you all the best of luck.
Nobody can begrudge anyone for feeling the need to liquidate their positions.
I would add, though - Stifling this bid is our only way of gaining a better price.
This board has certainly proven themselves to be inept, and none of us I know of are comfortable holding long term in any project they're involved in.
No, my post did not suggest that SAV is not in the lithium market. Did you read to the part where I wrote, “Oh, SAV also has that lithium project in Portugal that the locals oppose. They’re looking to finance it by selling off a part. Maybe they’re talking to Ganfeng?”
Yes, I have heard of GGD’s Australia JV with Newcrest (eventual owner of 70%) at Havieron that is in preliminary exploration for gold and copper. The “Pre-Feasibility Study” is still years away. I hope that egg hatches, but it’s not going to give birth to any lithium.
Borderbob did your post suggest........
Sav are not in the lithium market

Ggp HAVENT found a tier 1 world class deposit in a jv with newcrest and are acctually just hoping to find gold , have you heard of the word Havieron before in your 2 mons of research.

I certainly wasn't posting to you, and I can assure you I certainly wasn't after any approval from you. I do wonder where you will be in a year's time , I imagine you will be here alone talking to yourself like you have done for the last 6 months.
Sad sad individual
Yes Bonkers, good luck. I wont say that I wish you weren't going, but that is not meant in an unpleasant way. None of us can be sure what is the best course of action, and your decision could be one the rest of us end up being jealous of!
So it turns out that for some people this was not about lithium, it was just about removing stuff from the earth and selling it for a profit. SAV mines sand in Mozambique to come up with a chemical that makes paint whiter. (They also put it in cottage cheese.) POW is literally all over the map, looking mostly for gold, silver or some of the lesser-known battery components. GGP, which can also be bought in the U.S. OTC market, hopes its Australian exploration finds gold, which as a medium of exchange at least uses less fossil fuel than cryptocurrency.
Oh, SAV also has that lithium project in Portugal that the locals oppose. They’re looking to finance it by selling off a part. Maybe they’re talking to Ganfeng?
For the sake of British investors, I hope some of those Cornish projects go public soon. But the true greenies will probably drive the price up, way above the potential profit value.
All the best bonkers can’t disagree on anything you’ve posted. This stock has shown up the best and worst part of investing. Upside and excitement but also teaching you how emotional we can get and make bad decisions, how important the bod can be etc.
I’ll be glad to finally see the back of this, will see it through to decision day. I agree with you on better investments elsewhere, but I am also thinking we’re about to hit 2-3 weeks of Volatility in October.
Chinese stocks are almost 20% of the highs half tempted to wait for it and buy gangfeng!!!
All the best and good luck with other investments.
Hi dee I recieved your latest email and while its good to see you are still putting up a good fight I decided to sell a couple of days after my last message here.
I was tempted to stay and collect the zinnwald shares which would add to the shares I already had, however my mind was changed for a few reasons.
1) I wanted to reinvest my money elsewhere , it has been mentioned here how some have gone to SAV I too have topped up my position from the sale of bacanora , and with them waiting for their EIA approval which is expected imminent, the money I hope to make from the expected s.p rise of this, will be worth more then sticking around.
I have also topped up on POW who seem to have loads going on right now, topped up on GGP who are waiting for a expected PFS and a couple of others.
Another reason was I had a nice profit from bacanora , so it was an opportunity to do the above and put some funds in the bank , after all that's the game after all right.
Lastly and most importantly I was quite vocal on how I felt about secker and the board while I was here , I think they are snakes at best , the thought of having to stay invested in a company that they are involved in was too much, I like to trust a board I am invested in , I had none for this board and quite frankly the moment I sold I instantly became happier. The lies and the games behind our backs during the last year in my opinion is criminal. You don't need me to tell you why!!!
Ultimately if you win the fight I would still want out. Lose it I'm no worse off other then the zinnwald shares , however with my further investments I hope im better off either way.
To all the fellow bacanora holders still here , carry on the good fight, even though its a fight I don't think you will win, I hope you all the success , I particularly liked listing to fozdog , tomcat ,johnpwh, dee and Mr cautious, there were a few others but would need to scroll back through the chat to remember the names.
To the ones that brought higher then the sell price I feel for you the most , I hope you find other investments that will give you the returns you hoped for here.
All the best bonkers.
