Captain - I usually hold for 3 years plus . Being frustrated at the company’s inability to capitalise on a near term opportunity , is different from being a ‘day trader’. I clearly declared my purchase of AVCT first week of April . No agenda here - I want them to do well. Not selling either way - whether they make hundreds of millions or nothing out of Covid . We raised 48m at 5x my average so sitting tight , watching , waiting .
Alistair is in a no lose situation - as an AIM CEO he raises a huge amount of funding at a massive premium - and can keep the lights on revenue or not for years .
Best not sing that. That didn’t work out well for Mike Coupe...
I suspect the majority of retail investors have been attracted here by ‘Covid’ , who unfortunately will also be the impatient ones, so the clock is now ticking down. In the meantime we need someone to catch Alistair skipping into work singing ‘we’re in the money ‘ to calm those of a nervous disposition!
I’ve seen boohoo’s share price, on its way back up :-D
There was a lovely FT article saying they’ve found no evidence of any wrongdoing. Add in an II upping their stake and there we are, storm in a tea cup over. Sorry dewampers, you’ll need to desperately search for any lame angle.
AVCT are free to distribute to the wider market.
That is my point where are those other distributors?? I really hope the boohoo boys werent party to the last placing in someways. Since the placing it is different from company, ramping from the company has stopped.
I sold out yesterday hit my threshold so took the money, looks like its dropping so will see how far low it goes before buying back in.
Reread the medusa RNS...
Some people have very selective memories.
AVCT are free to distribute to the wider market.
medusa is for Joe blogs that feels unwell and is sensible enough not to leave the house and potentially infect others..
Pl75 that’s funny lol
‘UK is back to normal now as far as I can see.’
Guess you accidentally joined the queue for the butchers rather than specsavers
Crystal ball filtered
Every day that goes by and we don’t have a product out to market we are missing a huge amount of revenue . Can you not see that ? Vaccine / weakening of the virus/ competition = huge reduction in sales opportunity for AVCT . UK is back to normal now as far as I can see .
Medusa deal is exclusive for Direct to consumer sales only. Businesses and governments etc, where most of that 100-200m per month volume AS talked about is going to come from are not exclusive to Medusa.
I’m sure those deals given the size and volumes likely to be done and clients, will be waiting on final S&S numbers, manufacturing finalisation etc before signing on the dotted line. I’m confident they are close to being done in the background but won’t be finalised and announced until the other news flow comes. It’s sequential.
Medusa is exclusive B2C I think . Doesn’t cover government/ health care providers . Could be wrong. Fact is - the investment case here was strong pre Covid , and I didn’t invest because of Covid - but it’s really frustrating watching them mess up a company making opportunity.
Moan moan moan... why do we need more distributors MFM?
Actually its not even a start up its just a registered shell company on 29 April 2020.
Mortgage. I think Medusa deal was exclusive, so how could there be a line up of them
MFM, why do you need a distributor if the govt says we’ve got £5Bn to spend we’ll take everything you can manufacture, here’s a starting order for Xm tests?
Medusa, a new startup, are still the only distributor that is poor going so far, there should be a line of them signed up by now.
Middle of the summer next week, expect the news to start flowing next when AVACTA staff get their well deserved share options. I would hope that the shares will hold up in anticipation of next weeks news.
Careful the ramping army will lynch you
So basically another sheet day here. Things are certainly different since the placing.
I’m not very well versed when it comes to Avacta
But I’m not expecting news until next week!!
I think when the staff shares are issued you will see positive news
Until then it’s phone off and back to sorting through 100 tonnes of new potatoes!!
