Omicron hits the USA.
Buying opportunity in the morning??
Me too AAS.
Sold today the ones I picked up in the Black Friday sale for a profit of over 4% after tax & fees :). 80% of the annual dividend in 5 days.
Too early?? I don't know, but it's money in the bank now.
Looking forward to the next variant. Can I start the rumor now?
Very pleased with my Black Friday bargain.
It will be an efficient profitable dividend stock :)
With a 5% yield or higher per year, I will be happy
Then it will be leaner and fitter :-
393.50 GBX +8.50 (2.21%
Seems this only moves on selling assetts , so when they have no more to sell ,what happens then...

Yesterday's purchases of 3,080,000 own shares took advantage of the recent drop.
Less shares to share the dividend !!!
But if in 6 months time some chancer made a cheeky bid for £6.50 a pop, I'd be happy to accept that probably!
oldbutnowisa- They said it was achievable in three years time and that was about 6months ago. Ergo only 2.5 years to go with any luck!
Bubbles59- Great but I suspect by then I shall be responsible for daisies springing up near my headstone!
I'm not bored to hear Cevian have a price target of 800p and annual dividends of c45p in the medium/ long term. If/when that's achieved I'll be jacking in my boring job! LOL
AllAtSea: boring you? Please feel free not to read anything I post - your problem solved.

Ace, You are boring me; I couldn't care less what was posted in 2017. It was a very different world.
You will like this from exactly 4 years ago - 30 November 2017:
"Morgan Stanley analyst Jon Hocking reiterated his 'overweight' rating on the stock in a note to clients. "Taken as a package, we think this is a bullish set of goals from Aviva and, if achieved, the current multiple on the shares looks too low," he said, giving the shares a 649p price target."
But probably not a lot.

Thanks to the broker upgrade, which helps AVIVA to buck the trend today. Let's hope that it can go back to £4 again soon. GLA
Very nice.
"BERENBERG RAISES AVIVA PRICE TARGET TO 480 (478) PENCE - 'BUY'"
I bet this guy wished he'd hit the pause button for a few days:
"Aviva PLC - London-based insurer - Non-Executive Director Martin Strobel buys 40,000 shares at GBP3.94, worth GBP157,760, on Wednesday.
Current stock price: 392.65 pence, down 0.8% on Thursday
Year-to-date change: up 21%"
We have all been there..
Seems the only thing keeping these up this morning is the share buyback.
The only winners are the market makers as they are filling the buy order and inturn will cover that short position at a much lower price in the next few days.
Another reason why share buybacks aren't the best way to redistribute funds.
