"Recent history of this CEO is clear for all to see if they choose to see it, rather than get irate because I'm the one who posted the observation!!"
Dont think anyones irate. If your observations were more balanced, youd get more respect. Im not against hearing some negatives, in fact I welcome it, but the problem with you is that you just seem to be constantly whinging and it does get a bit irritating at times.
NvS is heavily invested here and has the same hopes as we all do but lets be honest theres a lot of hope value if your invested in in an aim micro cap exploration company. Nick is doing his best to get full value for us all and im sure we'll do well if were patient for a bit longer. Lets see what weve got by the end of the year and take stock then.
If your only aim is to try and cause negative sentiment to get a cheaper entry as has become obvious, then dont keep complaining about others getting annoyed at your antics.
I am a friend of an investor but love people watching. I see a range of opinions and personalities, all united in only one regard, that ARCM flies. I see enough hope for the believers to believe and sufficient doubt for the doubters to doubt. I am mystified in how the share price stubbornly oscillates around its current level. Eventually one party will be able to say “I told you so” I just can’t decide which way that is going to break. I sincerely hope that ARCM fulfils your hopes.
Cautious - I won't repeat Fulmar's comments except to say whilst your scenario could transpire (as it could for every explorer), I think you're being a little too premature. Did you listen to the CC recently? Yes another fund raise ( assuming no sale of non core asset) will probably happen Q1/Q2 2020 - Nick hinted at that so you could argue it's already been priced in.
All previous placings have been well received so no reason to think any different for the next one. Plus, he hinted that figures will be to hand on CE by the end of the year to enable Arc to provide a MRE probably Q1 2020. Another drill for equity agreement for next seasons drilling will also help.
If I see NvS (or the FO) starting to sell his substantial holding then I might become more concerned, but I can only assume he's happy to hold for a future reward. The same goes for other board members.
So i really think it's a little early in the drill programme to be thinking of the "exit door". Believe me I have a considerable holding here (taking personally anyway) and I know others have far bigger interests than me. So I certainly am looking to protect my capital and constantly try to assess any negative side to Arc as well as positive. Things don't always move in a straight line, but then if it did we'd all be very rich, so I'd welcome your comments in say 9-12 months time when the project should be considerably further advanced.
Are you invested here BTW? Or just commenting?
Around 16:15 NvS confirmed that he wouldnt make use of the existing Zamsort drill data. So Zambian drill data already existed.
Its funny listing to that interview again. Nothing NvS promised back in May 2018 have come to passed so that shareholders can say yes, he accomplished a, b, & c, and we are happy with his leadership and ability to execute. Passing around the raising bowl, buying more of Zamsort using placements are the only accomplishments to date. Recent history of this CEO is clear for all to see if they choose to see it, rather than get irate because I'm the one who posted the observation!!
@Cautious- your point is not inaccurate.but the problem is that it describes the scenario of every single mining explorer and many other AIM companies. The success percentage of Exploration companies is low (about 5%) but I am lucky enough to have been invested in a few in the past. And I am invested in several now,so I know well the risks and rewards.Raising money does not always result in "financial trajectory towards the exit door"and if you think it is "likely" as you say may I suggest you look at the previous placings of this company and see the effects it has had on the s.p. Enjoy your "guilty pleasure"-and if you have any specifics of why ARCM would be any more risky than any other Mining explorer I really would be interested to hear them.F29
Because if you listen to the May 2018 interview, NvS confirmed that he wouldnt use the available existing data, but would be carrying out his own drilling. He felt that he couldnt use the available data:

Not pulled from thin air, but from the CEO's own words.
Yes, I think highly strung, takes things personally, must always be right and very vindictive when things dont go his way, about sums him up for me.
I mean at this point I’m just trying to work out wether China enjoys the thrill of being a windup-merchant or if he’s just an incredibly emotional guy, I mean you can feel the steam boiling from his every word. 2 ticks think I need to wipe my face with a dry cloth...
China..a question if I may.
if you still hold any meaningful amount of shares here and your so persistently negative and think were a carbon copy of Prem..then why dont you put yourself (and the rest of us) out of your misery and sell? Why are you still here?
Amazing insight from China blue, that Zamsort probably knew that there is anything commercial in here. And how would they have known that without drilling ?
I understand your frustration but can't be plucking negatives from thin air.
Great point Cautious!! I am wondering why the Zambian shareholders would choose to sell now? Do they know something we dont know why they are not willing to wait for the promised pay day? Drilling started from 2018 and so far no mother lode. I think Zamsort have been very clever in selling their holdings to ARC most likely already knowing that there isnt anything there of commercial value. It shouldn't require 2 years of drilling for confirmation, while shareholders endure raise after raise. Drill for equity is face saving so that it doesnt appear that the begging bowl is being passed around with indecent haste. I see a classic carrot dangling exercise going on here, just like PREM did. The thought of the assets kept folks attention so that they dont notice that nothing profitable has been achieved over the past 2 years. Like PREM, realization will dawn when the SP is in the pits. Next year this time, it will be the same cycle. Asia Resource Minerals shareholders came to their senses and toss the albatross from around the ancient mariner's neck!! When will ARCM shareholders do the same?
This thread has become a guilty pleasure. I read wise words from all sides of the argument regarding ARCM. I just wonder why a major would pay a premium to buy when, with time, the company will likely continue its financial trajectory towards the exit door, after which any asset stripper could pick up at a fraction of the cost compared to a buy-out
