Another painful day... sigh :(
How are you down 10% on Riot - they are 7% up today so you must have bought at pretty much the ATH in March. You could argue that if bought at the ARB ATH of £3.05 then I would be down about 25% by the end of today.
The problem remains that there isnt anything to stimulate an increase in the price so buyers wont come in - why would you when any review you would shows you that this hasnt moved for weeks compared to others.
If this stays flat then, to close the gap with Riot we woul need a 1600% increase at NASDAQ + Riot standing still ..!
Im still at a loss mind of why there has been no RNS at all about First Investment holding reduction and all the links I go to for current holders are a few months out of date (and hence still show 14% ~41m shares)
This also presupposes that the schares were all trading on LSE whilst you would assume some would go through OTC.
Appreciate that it is hard to keep holding when it is stagnant or dropping as BTC rises, and other miners see full value - it is frankly painful. However the fundamentals are better than they've ever been, and my base investment case still stands, so I continue to hold.
In the mean time to keep me interested while waiting I'm trying to trade BTC/Crypto on Binance and see how big (or small) I can make my initial small balance go. Currently I'm up!
post was to negative "must be a shorter, day-trader or troll"
Shares in Hemorrhoids would see more price action an this at the moment
Roll on nasdaq , pluto or Something pls
"other mining stocks that actually go up when they should"
Do they? Then why am I sitting on a 10% loss with RIOT?
Yeah everyday this share stays flat lined I lose patience with it and think about selling it for other mining stocks that actually go up when they should.
Breaking out isn’t a certainty, that’s why I used the word “probably”. I can tell you what has been a certainty, it’s that this share has under performed this latest run and feels like it wants to go to 200 than 300.
@growthinvestor20 It was confirmed by someone on here on 15th March that this seller had less than 3% left to sell. That is 11.5 million shares. We've had 19 trading days since then so he must be drip feeding about 600k per day. Is that really going to be enough to hold us back? 1.7 million shares were sold so far today for example. I suppose it is significant if buyers don't mop them all up.
TBF it is not saying anything bad about this share price, the issue is sufficient buying liquidity to pump the price up. If there is alot of selling in back ground that will eventually materialise.
Fundamentals of Argo have not got worse since £3 per share, in fact they have got much better - patience is the game, 2 months is nothing in the share world (remember those who saw x10 bags probably sat on 50% losses for months!)
People have to understand we have a seller that had over 10+% holding in this company and now he has under 3% (we think).
For some reason (hoping regulatory but might just be he thinks he can make more money seeding something else than leaving money here)) he is selling out ~40m shares.
Now he does not want to crash the market - not in his interest, so lets say he drip feeds in 2m shares a day @230-240p. That's 20 trading days or one month of a wall of sells.
More likely he's drip feeding in 1m a day to really not create any waves. That would be 40 trading days or TWO months of selling wall. Maybe something in between.
I think this is exactly what we are going through now and you will soon notice the day he stops selling.
It just seems a bit daft to say you are 'kind of done' with a share and yet then admit it will probably break out.
I am not criticising you for saying anything negative about the share, its just that your post seems 'kid of' contradictory.
That’s why I used the word “kind of” and “I am done” , kind of implies 90% to me. Which is where I’m at.
Heaven forbid anybody mention anything negative about this stock. Quick, shoot him down!
If its your only BAG , sell and diversify, plenty of opportunities
So you aren't done with it?
Everything else you 8-10% and this is still flat... Zcash ATH, BTC near ATH.
Only reason I can’t sell is as soon I do it will probably break out
