MeetKevin youtuber did a quick analysis of the pricing of MS Microstrategy as compared to the miners based on their BTC HODL holdings.
So MS are priced about 1.1x times the amount of BTC they hold, so almost a one to one correlation with the BTC price.
The main miners, RIOT, MARA, HUT are all priced in the region of 6-10x times the amount of BTC they hold.
Im not sure what ARB are priced at, probably in the 10x range also.
Effectively your miners investment is an investment in the miners BTC HODL and their assets, GPUs, plant etc and future profits. The assets are negligible really so your valuing them on future earnings.
Whereas MS is a pure BTC play , no valuation of tangibles that are not 1-1 with the BTC price.
A case could be made for MS having more room to run.
Calm down everyone, its Monday have cup of coffee, no need to get wound up by my post , its just a discussion.
Oh look while writing this ARB is up 4% , Im happy for all us investors and believers, have a great day everyone, be blessed with this indian summer in October and hopefully we make some cash. And all that panic and worry in September is gone .
Nice one ta,
Probably be 150k btc before I can get my hands on any cash, at this rate here :)
Buying MSTR now at the level it’s at currently ($750) is pretty similar to choosing to buy BTC now. I’m not sure if it’s a good idea or not. BTC could have a decent pull back at any time. It’s likely to happen before the mega run up to $100k that everyone is predicting. Maybe better to wait for a dip than jump in now. Who knows.
Ok, great thank you.
I will grab a few as soon as I have some cash. I watched a video from MS about 7 months ago, in which he mentioned staking but said with the taxes the company would only make 1 to 1.5 % so wasn't worth the risk.
I see he's changed what he said about that in yesterday's video! I know he cant state any plans in a video but from what else he said ...someone could create another square etc , surely they have other plans too .
Thanks for the link, I did find that one this morning. I remember someone on here saying they’d bought some YOP.
Micro strategy is a funny one. It pumped massively during the first BTC bullrun to the ATH, but it then had a big premium over the value of the BTC.
That premium tends to go up and down while the SP also goes up and down so there can be variations which seem out of kilter with BTC. The most recent moves have seen the MSTR premium go for +15% to near parity, which is why MSTR doesn’t seem to have moved up as much as BTC has over the last month.
Personally, I think MSTR will pump again once BTC pumps past the ATH. Either that or it won’t because everyone is a bit wiser now. Who knows.
I’ve been underwater on my MSTR shares since May (only just turned green again this week) and averaged down just like I’ve had to with Argo. Now wish I’d traded it over days and weeks rather than taking the buy and hold approach, again, similar to Argo.
Hopefully things will come good on both counts soon!

Nope that wasn't me buying yop Mac.
I dont hold mstr yet but as you hold a good few, can you explain why the sp hasn't moved a great deal with their btc creating such a massive return pls?
Thanks FP - a great watch. Yes, MS is a great ambassador. Time will tell as to whether he’s been a genius or mentalist though.
I was meaning to ask you another question, about YOP. Was it you who bought some YOP tokens?
I was just wondering how you did that? Presumably using ETH to buy it on KuCoin or Gate.io?
I actually think its an edited version for a slightly older one zydecoco now Ive watched it to the end.
Heres his latest short edited video if its of benifit to anyone.
Think M Saylor is great but he does tent to repeat himself
