You might not get 1,000% from here but my ISA holding of this is currently showing a 630.74% gain so I’m fully expecting a 1,000% in the fullness of time, and much more besides!!
Some interesting points made though but I think we have to look at the true scale of this revolution. Sure not all of our investments will succeed and of those that do some will be bought long before IPO.
But when you see the likes of John West and Princes getting on board with BlueNalu I think you can be pretty confident this tech has a loooong way to go.
I’m actually maybe even more bullish than most. I honestly think this will become so mainstream that raping the seas and rearing animals for slaughter will very very quickly become something people will look back on and think ‘they did what!?’
Obviously there is a question of just how much of that change ANIC will capture but I’m quietly confident it will capture more than enough to make us all very happy indeed.
I've worked in retail all my career across 20+ retailers as a consultant and in my last stint at Holland & Barrett, I saw incredible growth in ethical sales. Customers will pay a premium for ethical products. If the technology works, is scalable and we get close to griddle parity, the opportunity is huge. We don't need a huge piece of the market to succeed and there is room for many players so I'm not worried about competition, it's actually a great thing as it helps create the market. There will be customers who don't like the idea for themselves but will happily give it to their pets (who eat 30% of all meat produced). My view being here at 28p is that less than £1 whenever we exit would be disappointing given the risks of this type of share. If the market adopts this is a meaningful way however, who knows!
Since the margins of beef fattening in western Europe is so thin, I can imagine a rapid collapse happening, this would require a rapid expansion of beef imports from lower cost parts of the world, and we would be accused of exporting our climate methane obligations, or the meat can be produced in a factory, it seems obvious which choice the governments will make, expect a lot of money to come into factory meat production, and I can well expect if all goes according to plan a substantial rise in the share price of agronomics.
I’ve no idea what the SP will do, or whether cell ag will thrive or bomb, but there’s certainly potential, impetus and funding behind it. Jim expects it to thrive and has likened it to Silicon Valley in the 1970s. I suspect he’s right, he often is. And Apple’s done alright…

thank you for acknowledging my nobility. although i am not that noble. i am hoping, for example, that short-term the sp drops to 32p. but having been burned a few times by mega-ramps i felt i had to say something.
and i am not eva. although i am her creature.
I think you are right that an 8000% rise is not the appropriate measure of success but part of my reason for joining this chat was to try to get a broader view of what a realistic measure of success might be. I've bought into this stock because I think the investment case has a good story to tell. But is that it? How do you value such a speculative stock? There is essentially no market for this product yet - it's all something that may or may not emerge as a future trend with lots of threats and opportunities on the way. What do other investors realistically expect to get out of this and what forms that view? Don't point me to random valuations on a random blog - these almost certainly have no real insight. So I've read several times that BluNalu is expected to IPO soonish, but does anyone have any reliable indication of what that value might be? Is there any directly comparable listed companies to compare against - I don't think the likes of Beyond Meat is comparable. As far as I understand, none of the companies Agronomics are invested in is at the scale of Beyond Meat or are even necessarily competing for the same market sector. I think a lot of people get very defensive when anything remotely questioning appears on these chats, but wouldn't you also rather be informed of potential threats and rivals? That was another part of my reason for joining this group. So to me, the opportunities are clear but I was looking for some insight as to whether there were any sizeable rivals that might usurp this investment. Are there comparable alternatives that you can invest in?
Apologies I hadn't read back...
An 80 bagger can not be the benchmark of success here however !
The claim was posted via a link by GreenValueHunter last Thursday. See original post below - don't shoot the messenger!
OMG. Wallet Investor has just predicted a possible 8000% rise in Agronomics shares by 2026. Link attached ... https://walletinvestor.com/lse-stock-forecast/anic-stock-prediction
Wait is this Eva.
How noble of you to warn us of the blindingly obvious that there is indeed competition in this space xviolet.
Where did you come up with the 80x target anyhow ?
If people are perturbed by the warning that a share will only 10 bag then they're after too much surely
if you invest here thinking you will get 8000% return let me just promise you this. you won't. you won't even get 1000%.
there are tons of cell based meat companies out there - google green queen, go through her site and start reading - most of these companies are not on AIM and not open to small/private investors - - but they are out there and getting massive venture capital support - and they are going to take this market and they are going to deals with Nestle, Tyson Foods, McDonalds etc - and Agronomics are going to join the party. Yes the sector as a whole is going to do well. But try and remember ANIC is not the only player in this game and the sp will reflect that.
