"He should not have stated a time bracket if he wasn't 100% positive it could be met."
Fully agreed, but as you and others point out, this is what he's continually done. It remains to be seen whether he's done it again.
"With the unexpected surge in gas prices that has coincided with SFB coming on track, he's basically fell down a hole and landed in a pool of soft Nutella."
Well, the Nutella only appears if ANGS manages to produce more gas than it's hedged - otherwise a sharply elevated gas price makes literally zero difference to company fortunes over the next three years. Again everyone's reliant on a George prediction coming true...
James
Not sure if you misread what I posted about it being state normal but I agree 100% with what you put. GL and basically everyone who has sat around the boardroom table in ANGS HQ is either incompetent or downright deceitful. He should not have stated a time bracket if he wasn't 100% positive it could be met. With the unexpected surge in gas prices that has coincided with SFB coming on track, he's basically fell down a hole and landed in a pool of soft Nutella.
Regardless of his acumen and performance to date, he may be one of those Generals that Napolean coveted so much. As the saying goes, 'I would rather have a General who is lucky than one who is good'.
Maybe George is a lucky boy
JTS, you know where the door is if you have no confidence in the company.
Tygra-With all due respect GL has no credibility and heaps of track record of failure and misleading shareholders
1. did he tell shareholders that angs need £12 million plus while continuing to claim that we will be producing gas soon. outright deceit/fraud
2. when GL arranged the extortionate finance ,his expertise as per him, he claimed that someone was charging fees with no merit. Sheer incompetence/negligence that we settled that liability by issuing some 40 million shares. What kind of a expert GL is that Angs paid several 100K in fees already for the finance and we ended up paying double despite RNS to the contrary.
GL and Crew have always been economical with truth and most times deliberately deceitful to enrich themselves. The success of SFB has ZERO to do with GL. Its stroke of luck. And its absolutely wishful thinking that numbers from Brockham are being held back or there is some mage deal/takeover being negotiated. The entire BOD is incompetent, negligent and deceitful and with sheer stroke of luck SFB will perform due to extremely high gas prices.
GL also claimed that we may be producing 100 plus BBL a day from Brockham when maximum we ever had was a few . Lets pray we achieve the desired result BUT the chances are we have not and GL ,shamelessly, is keeping quiet on that front.
Lidsey has been a screw up all the time because of incompetence.
Balcombe has a good chance and we are long way away from there.
In brief there is nothing coming out of GL and crew's tongue you can trust or believe. That is why tweets and RNS are important and fundamental and its a huge relief to see the tweet today.
Tygra, ask the Q&A what's happening if it bothers you and baits, or just chill and wait for the added bonus on top of gas production imo.
"What more do you want?"
Well, full production of 1.5 million therms a month starting in 11 days' time as promised by George would probably be appreciated...
Baits
Give it a rest you are boring everyone.
Saltfleetby will be up and running as quickly as they can do it.
Last of the equipment has arrived and is being installed and tested daily.
Angus in twitter are putting out pictures of what is happening almost on a daily basis.
What more do you want?
Good or bad they should at least say something to share holders.
That is what I was thinking Tygra it should be released, but if they have not finished what they set out to do there will be no RNS. As I said I am not to optimistic at the moment it is taking longer than the time given.
baits
He has missed his fortnite deadline by a long way now (regarding updated production figures for Brockham). In my view it's either 'state normal' for GL and ANGS, promise but fail to deliver, or there's an offer on the table under consideration and some sort of gentlemen's agreement has been reached not to release the figures as the entire company will soon change hands.
Both are complete guesses but I can't accept the theory that because the figures are not what he wanted to hear he has decided not to release them. That would/should not be possible as it's market sensitive information that has been promised via RNS and vetted by the NOMAD. Good, bad or ugly it's news that must be released.
All the best
To optimistic with Brockham at the moment I would think if it was producing more Oil they would be shouting from the tree tops by now. What do others think, is it to early yet for news.
