Hi Hele....totally agree about debt causing anxiety....as you say....losing a job...income would be....well dont want to think about it :-))
I think 20p will see a bit of profit taking, so don't worry if it gets bumpy around there. There were so many historical targets surrounding the mythical 20p. Hopefully it can crank past that as it is simply a legacy milestone. the upsides here should out play it now!
Oldfinger, I'd pay off the credit cards first. Debt causes anxiety, is a great worry if you get sick or lose a job. There's never certainty with shares.
Yeh...good point...am on 0% at the moment on the cards...until June....on one...October the other....so hope to pile any spare cash here...until then...although....maybe Heart is ruling the head....
Old finger - what’s the interest rate on you cards? Like some have said be careful with what you put in, one bad rns is all it takes. If you have skin in the game be happy with that, pay off debt, particularly high interest debt, otherwise you’ll be getting an amigo product!
Pay down debt first, this is still boom or bust. Dangerous to compound more debt
Yeh...Thanks for the reply SOK....when things going well...so easy to get caught up in it...as when things going not so well...easy to think it will be like that forever....Cheers
Old finger, be sensible, only put in what you can afford. This could continue to rise or a bad RNS comes out and it halves in a mater of minutes
I am in a bit of a dilemma...have quite a bit on credit cards to pay off...but if do that every month...will not have any spare cash to put in here....We all have to make choices...but think I will put in here and defer paying credit cards off....I mean Credit Card balances...part of life these days for many if I am not mistaken...GL All OF
LTH, have a good night and thanks for your time and advice :)
gl mouse, fingers crossed for tomorrow then, i have to try get some sleep or ill miss the 7am tr1
You never know, an algorithm might pick this up and that might work in our favour :-)
And when I get to the pc tomorrow and see they have sold, my other half better has smelling salts ready lol :-)
Not for all of them, just for a fifth :-)
Call me optimistic (or a dreamer :-) ) but I've set a sell limit for 42 in 7 calendar days :-)
I would say zero chance of speeding ticket with Director and II buys, I would be very surprised if there was one
I can set a time limit to it. It's just that I want double of my investment secured, prior to court 'sanction' :-) and before it proceeds any further. In the meantime leave it running in my monthly share saving plan and buy into dips, when and if I can. Does that make any sense? I would free up some cash to invest some elsewhere, keep half to 'play' on the chances Amigo will give, but will still buy (at the price now) buy around 1200 per month anyway.
if you set a sell order at 35 you will get your 35p when it reaches that, just a shame to give them your shares at the price they are happy to take them without gauging the market sentiment of the day. or forgetting it is set until soa passes and then they get taken in an instant
A speeding ticket? Up or down? :-) If I was to set a quarter of my shares to be sold on 35p they couldn't sell them for less and it wouldn't mean they are automatically on offer prior to hitting this target, would it? I have never dealt with stop losses, sell limits. I'm a freshling to all of that.
Tr1 first thing tomorrow should see to creating a good day for everyone
it depends if the buying continues at the same pace until friday, then who knows maybe we will get a speeding ticket if they get fed up of paying high prices. very hard to judge what will happen, i hope positive keeps holding up :)
LTH, in your opinion, how far do think we could be away from 35p?
tomorrow before lunch ;) atleast set a hard target :P
Already ahead of my expectation of 15p by Friday... but 20p looks a very real possibility now.
Lots of momentum with some huge buys going through.
