The bod have to appoint CEO hence the idiots saying they might not or words to that effect
"Why is there no resolution to appoint Mr Benamor as CEO?
This was not proposed to us by Richmond Group. The resolutions in the Requisition Notice were not identical to those Mr. Benamor posted on social media. We have asked shareholders to vote on everything that we have been asked to propose. We are legally required to do this, and it is what we have done. The appointment of any CEO is ultimately a matter for the Board and will require FCA approval."
"In parallel, the Board and the senior management team are focused on recommencing lending, developing the Group’s strategy and seeking out new business opportunities, all with the aim of maintaining and advancing the Group’s position as the leading provider of guarantor loans in the UK. The Board is focused on the future of the business and is looking forward to engaging with its new and diverse shareholder base as it commences the next chapter in its development."
"The resolution to remove Roger Lovering is unnecessary. Mr Lovering has always stated his intention to step down after an appropriate handover period, once Jonathan Roe has received regulatory approval for his role. The hand-over period will also include the FCA’s approval of Gary Jennison as Chairman of Amigo’s Risk Committee. "
Did you get both the first ones HH?
Shuttup hereshopin lol
Yep, all super triggers and all expected in next 6/7 weeks!
That is not long.
April to May this ( if you timed it correctly )returned 100% gain
June / July this gave 200% gain
Aug / September another 100% gain ( goddammit! )
and now we are where we are today staring at another 100% gain min.
Seamus/Mark,
Booman bought at 8p-10p He will be looking a decent return on his investment as will MANY MANY other holders incl city boys who have held the sp down for their own purposes. There are shares rising 100-200% every week.
Amigo will have 50-65% days when we trigger happy.
Watch it do the amigo dance.
I think the larger part has just found it’s way into pi hands but no doubt some funds or organisations have taken holdings below the reportable limit ie under 3% uk companies and under 5% overseas. Plus don’t forget market makers can hold a sizeable chunk on there books. My point however is this is not gonna zoom up in a straight line this will peak and dip and if the news along the way is good yes it will continue to set higher lows and higher highs and I intend to take advantage. Yes I know that leaves you open to being locked out at some point but until the fca is neatly out of the way and the December performance triggers negation completed along with lending restarted I foresee a gradual rise with trading opportunities.
Seamus,
Peloton bike or the trainers:)) lol
We all have our favourites no worries:)
JB had to go down to zero as this may have come to haunt him. He called the vote whilst under 10% which the clause. Emails between RG / Amgo legal team likely took place. Remember Injunction.
So professional advice was likely taken on every step.
That’s done.
Now he can buy / maybe even bought a few. Hard to know when institutions / individuals hold under 3%.
Hey Mark
I'm not relating his order to us getting our 20p, like you say that should be achievable anyway
What I'm saying is, if SP is lets say 40p when he getting approval. as it could be next year, Do you think he's already somehow made a deal to buy his 29% ? we've all wondered where all his shares have gone
This should be 20p plus without JBs irrevocable order, or the results of the fca, or the banking agreements. Assuming we are all anywhere near correct with our assumptions there should be plenty of trading opportunities between now and Xmas.
We’ve had trading opportunity 1,2 & 3 (I missed opportunity 3 as did a lot of us) I have no intention of missing 4,5,6,7 and 8.
Hey Fig
Similar to you, Gardening, walking dogs and peloton :) And of course Madmax Fury Road :)
I love what you are saying buddy and my god hope you've nailed it
But, JB said he will not buy until FCA approved and i'm 100% sure we hasn't gone through all this to end up with no voice again and wants those 29%
I thought you got the 20x2%ers from the millionaires he made when floated, so where are his shares going to come from ?
Apologizes if I've missed something
Should be a cracking week
Board settlements
Founder reinststed
Old woodword disposals
FCA approvals
And some some surprises.....
Fig great breakdown. I think Mic and GC are in hand. And I actually take JB at his word when he said he wasn’t aware who had his shares. But very optimist he will get back in and GC will join him. SP is only going one way. GLA
Evening Seamus.
Good weekend I trust?
Had a sporty weekend, a bit of pottering in the garden and timeout from BB.
If 20 allies bought 2%x 20=40% + PI’s =20%, he is past the winning line. (60%)
This doesn’t include additional support from GC 6.66% or MIC 16%
JB has this in the bag.
If there were another vote in 6-12 months for whatever reason with new resolutions, many would vote the OLD BOD’s just to ensure and LEFTOVERS deadwood was truely voted out.
My most positive takeaways last Friday: both potential CEO’s, JB and GJ stated theywould be working very hard to ensure lending re-starts, fca resolutions resolved.
STRATEGY is to return current SP back to near IPO levels, which basically means RE-ENTRY into FTSE 250 early next year.
£550- £600m Mcap returns AMGO back to FTSE 250 ==£1.20+
VOTES all done and dusted - well done to all those voted:
Proxy voting Ended 10.45 a.m. on 27 September 2020.
11.6p Current——21p - 32p - 66p - 82p - £1—£1.20 (ftse250) ——-£2.60 (IPO 2018)
Afternoon All
Well - that's part one of my weekend successfully completed - Sheff Utd 0 Leeds Utd 1 : )
Now on to the most important part in my eyes - we only have 1 crack at this so lets hope everyone who can vote has seen sense and got JB back on the board. Then it's up to him to get nomination for CEO. He must persuade everyone to take their places as designated in the PLC and Ltd Co (including Glen) and lets crack on with the work as a team for the benefit of EVERYONE!!! Board members, shareholders, employees and current and future clients. That's a f*ckin lot of people relying on the right result!!!!!
hey SAM
I'd say he wants his company back so will want that 29% come hell or high water
I also really believe the sp would knocking on the door of 50p + if boxes ticked
Hey Seamus12
I do think the SP will be considerably higher if those boxes are ticked which would be JB doesn't have to but the 29% of the company
But if the SP is higher than 20p most of us are happy either way considerably higher and were all over the moon :)
Good luck for the week ahead guy's
I've had a thought! I know , had to lie down for half an hour
If/When JB wins it could be early next year before he's FCA approved and surely he's already considered this.
Events between now and then- Claims , Debt, Lending again etc. If each of these boxes are ticked and lets face it he wouldn't be fighting for Amigo if he didn't think he could, the SP will surely be way WAY above 20p
This to me, points towards him already having a deal some how with allies who will be voting for him
Would these need 10 allies just under 3% or is there another way ?
Any thoughts ?
Hey Fletch
I am but hanging on until after results on Wednesday
i would expect so, they have their own backlogs and cant keep up with their own rules.
If GC back in I wonder if FCA will require GC to reapply?
We are at 80 days after Glens appointment, it was so close to being approved before leaving.
We are at 70 days after Jonathans appointment.
FCA - " We are legally obliged to decide on an application within 90 days of receiving it."
My gut which is very big :) and IMO is we will see sp 14/15 and COP nipping to 16/17 but still turbulent. This based on an RNS where we see at least 1 formal resignation and the market see this as leaked expectation on JB winning the vote. No RNS then who knows but expect a smaller rise. However, the SP has never been predictable. I am pretty confident that JB will win with GC votes and most of the PI together with MIC 16%. Over the next two weeks all plans will unfold. GC back as Uk CEO and JB will be holding company CEO so he will start buying now his 29% I do think he want to see the SP rise. For all the PIs based on a few of his tweets.
This is the end of the uncertainty around the board. Clearly lending needs to restart ASAP. Hopefully before December. I have never ramped intentionally. Although I think I have joined in the optimism.
A bit of a rant and a ramp but I can’t see it going any other way. IMHO. GLA
.
Good morning Seamus! They couldn’t afford me. Plus I’m washing my hair... ;-)
You buzzing for the week ahead??? You still in BOO - I’m looking to sell in run up to results there as I’m sat on a neat little stash.
Looking forward to finding out the results here. Keeping everything crossed that the king returns
