News as expected, did anyone really think they would announce anything significant with the US being in the state it’s in.
Happy with my investment but will not be adding more still considerable risk with this one.
Switch off and come back in six months, I’ll be hoping that the share price is above 4.5p.
Positive news and this will light up. Gla
Are we any nearer to bid and / or ask moving up?

100 code as well
Well bamb...we do know that the MMs are struggling for shares
OK, I will say it....1 code :) yes it's a myth but you never know
News cant be too far away. GS has communicated to several investors that he would be releasing news late June / early July. Late June has now passed and early July is upon us. Seems we have found a new base level now which is pleasing to see. Higher lows lead to higher highs. As is the norm volume isnt there at the moment but judging by the price action the MMs are still struggling for shares. I think Ophidian was keeping track of things when we were around 1.5p and reckoned the MMs were offside by a few million shares. If that was the case then they certainly havent got them back yet as the move following the TR1 from Mark Ward and Mr Alder didnt give them the opportunity to do so. Hopefully news this week, as my definition of early July would be before 10th, but not worried if things are delayed beyond my expectations. ALGW is an investment for me, most definitely long term
It wont be too much longer before 3p is broken, just needs a positive update from GS. Recent TR1 action suggests confidence from those investors with time and money. I've no doubt that virtually every single one of the TR1 holders will be looking for returns far in excess of 3p. Giles has stated here that he might consider slicing in the high teens. I personally am in this for the long run, although I dont see the run being too long as I expect a buyout. The run has however been extended from my initial expectations of end of this year, now looking more towards end of q2 or q3 next year. In the meantime I will keep seizing the opportunities to add to my position
Is there a rule on this board that someone needs to say “ One more day to accumulate sub 3p perhaps....?” every day or two?? If so, let me know when it’s my turn.
Agree Steve, not a bad thing either to see the hot 'flipper' money move elsewhere. Be nice to see more buying come through from longer term holders, does give a heck of a lot of confidence seeing the size of our TR1 holders positions continue to grow.
Well they’re not getting mine - I’d never get em back.
Drop was always gonna happen on a Monday morning with no news. Good news is they'll take 500k, is there a buy being worked?
Not at all a bad thing either to see news drop from a higher starting point....
One more day to accumulate sub 3p perhaps....?
As was previously posted TR1 holders haven't been accumulating at such a rate on just a punt, and I suspect have a pretty good line into Gobind et al.
Looking back to Thursday morning Pots another view to prove useful in the thought process
Thank you Giles ......
ALGWs 3 focused strategies as per 27th April update.Thu 08:10
Here are MY current views on ALGWs 3 focused strategies as per 27th April update.
BOAGF:
LS contracts continue to be available to buy and, as soon as the requisite finance is available, from whatever source, DS can close the deals. Unlikely to feature much in the update.
Warehouse Loan / Short Term Credit Facility:
This is on hold. The UK lender, the lawyers and GS, quite reasonably, consider it impossible to try and conduct what were all day face to face meetings, online. It’s just not practical to have people hanging on while some documentation that is not to hand in someone’s home is tracked down by another person also trying to work from home, neither of whom have access to the filing cabinets, physical or virtual, in a timely manner. Do not expect the update to say that this is a done deal.
SMA’s:
This is where the immediate future of ALGW lies. Finance is not needed, UHNW individuals are still very interested and GS is having face to face meetings in the US. These could feature in the update.
In addition:
GS has, on several occasions, mentioned that ‘changes are happening’. Exactly what these are I don’t know but he seems excited by the possibilities and these will likely be the main content of the update.

Pots ... I will copy and paste from earlier this week since it answers the question posed, very much
Going forward Giles I have to agree that the advisory and management of the "Separate Managed Accounts is the direction that ALGW could well pursue, with vigour, to create a larger portfolio of $AUM.
BOAGF will still operate but with smaller $$$ inputs and add to the revenue pool.
RCF funding for me from a single UK lender was all important when the Hybrid was the the main focus. The shift to SMAs with the UHNWI providing the funding removes the necessity of an RCF. These funds could be negotiated via face to face in the US either individually or by utilising a quality Third Party, for all of them?
For me I am not expecting an RCF in this next RNS but hopefully fabulous news related to the funding of one of more SMAs.
The idea of an RCF will still be on going but not be the be all and end all for the company to get right now. Corvid19 put paid to that from a UK lender.
This next RNS, with no RCF, but SMA funding would be a major WOW for me.

The US is an absolute mess, so fully expecting it to be a generic update without much progression on their planned strategies. But, secretly hoping we have a positive update irt potential managed accounts with a clear timeline (or close to that) on when people will commit.
I was close to selling a few on Friday with a view of reinvested if it did drop. The reason I didn’t was because of the £300k combined investment of both Alder & Ward (and Giles) - you just don’t invest at that level on a punt or do you?!
I have 1.8m at a decent average and hoping this investment can contribute to a decent later life!
What are you expecting Hull?
What are you expecting Pots?
What are people really expecting from the forthcoming news?
For me, I really hope it isn’t going to be some generic quarterly update showing no progress, otherwise we’ll see another momentum swing to the negative.
