ST gets his numbers from the Alba presentations from their own website. Just with added enthusiasm :)
I hate personal attacks, but my god Santo how smug you are! Are we supposed to believe all these downloads you print are the correct information? C"mon now, it"s an ego thing! Just hope you end in profit after all this!!
This bb is gettin more like War & Peace. "I can research better than you". So the more i copy the cleverer i am! It"s the same drivel all the time, just wait for results, then you can start printing ya web-sheets again. It"s getting boring , not the drilling i hasten to add.
elir71, I've always had you firmly in the 'more balanced posters' category.
Just to add, deeper drilling into the permafrost next year ought to add nicely to our ilmenite numbers, but that's still a bird in the bush. Also from the little amount of info I managed to unearth several years ago, I wasn't overly impressed with the total quantities of graphite which were mined back in the old days. It was something like several hundred thousand tonnes, as I remember. Though a lot more may be present and waiting to be scoped out once we get drilling again next year.
So all in all I'm quietly positive but well aware that things don't always go smoothly or to expected time frames.
The victorian / edwardian miners did not have the benefit of diamond coring bits nor a thorough understanding of the solid geology of the area. The cores taken then other side of the fault (an unmined area) confirmed the presence of gold beyond the discontinuity. Though very high grades were found in the vein from the previous borehole, it could of course be a "lucky" hit, which is why the bulk samples are likely to give a more representative sample than a core.
Wrt to Ilmenite, I see the presence of Bluejay's the existing infrastructure as wholly positive to the prospect. Mr008 seems to suggest that the company is valueless without Dolgellau, which is simply untrue as it suggests that all other assets are outweighed by liabilities. It's clear that a sensible arrangement could be reached with Bluejay using shared infrastructure. Of course part of Bluejay's valuation is their existing infrastructure and other assets, nevertheless even when that is taken into account, then per reserves then I think it still undervalues Alba's asset there.
Graphite is likely to be in heavy demand for the next generation of batteries. Tesla has been actively looking for sources, so I can see than unfolding very nicely. Iron ore is a well established market..
As you will see from my previous posts I try to be objective in my research and analysis and have pointed out threats as well as opportunities.
As for being a "paid ramper", then it would be fairly easy to work out my identity from my username.
elir71 - Constant talk of our ilmenite being on a par with Bluejay so our s/p is way undervalued, but omitting the fact that they have 4x our quantity, a landing jetty, worker's accomodation, off take agreements and a processing facility in Quebec, plus a nickel mine in Finland etc.
Mention of us having 19,000,000 tonnes of ilmenite when in fact that is the quantity of ilmenite containing ore. Certainly sounds better than the actual contained ilmenite content of just 1.69mts.
There was enough gold for the old timers to extract 80,000ozs. Yes, over 150 years that's a humongous average of 1.46oz/day. Presumably because - "Finding Welsh gold on the other hand is like finding the sixpence in the biggest Christmas cake you could imagine. There’s no pattern, no logic, and you never know when you’re just inches away." Not so easy to find a supposed 500,000ozs worth £billions then?
Don't get me wrong, I'm as hopeful as anyone and guilty of over positivity at times but also like to know what the pitfalls may be so I'm investing with both eyes open wide...
@Jeremiah...
Present some evidence to back your assertion
Give some examples of 'rampy' statements and why you believe them to be overly optimistic or unreliable.
With all the warrants being subscribed for lately it's far more likely we have paid rampers in our midst helping the IIs to maximise their cash in price. There are regular professionally laid out posts outlining all the company positives (whilst also stretching the truth more than a little) without a thought for any pitfalls that usually befall any share. I think the IIs have done extremely well cashing in on the backs of the plethora of ramptastic posts we have been inundated with lately. Agreed the derampers are almost as bad and they have their own agenda, but they are in the minority here so the imbalance is still in favour of multiple unrealistic ramping posts.
These imbeciles like 008 are either paid derampers or extremely sad individuals. I would say probably both . If everyone filters them they will go away .I filtered the twit a while ago as he does the same on other shares .He / it , should be in Rampton mental hospital , or even better , at the bottom of the Mariana trench .Once you filter , it goes away for good. Job done .
Either way TC, Bergen and the associated trolls will find it hard to create business after what they’re doing here.
Can you imagine this bulletin board should ALBA find this mine is not viable? All the dregs come out to play...Some people for reasons best known to themselves take great delight in others misfortune, imagine actually knowing people like that? What a bundle of fun they must be. They all have one thing in common, they have no money and go from board to board trying to get reactions so they feel important.
We would also have the usual suspects who say they sold out the previous day and are really sorry...for those who lost their money, you know who they are...Always sold at the very top and bought at the very bottom, but always declare their trades hours later.
Well said MPO818. I will be a long term holder here. I am well aware of the potential upside and downside and will stand by my own decision to invest. Should the Welsh gold fail, there is still Greenland. I certainly don't want to read the constant negativity and drivel of Mr008.
He posts on ALBA and SYME. For the later he warned of a drop to 0.40p they are now 0.54 with ALBA his opinion is the mine is exhausted. He has no clue about either, so put him on ignore and maybe he will get fed up and go away.
You have nothing positive to post. Nearly everything you post is of a negative nature. You clearly don't have any faith in the Alba management to deliver here, so why do you continue to post? Best to move on and take your negativity elsewhere.
