It just needs HH to flow as well as expected then we should start to tick up. We don't have the millstone of a payday loan company like Ukog so we ought to outperform them on any good HH news.
Jeremiah, sounds so simple, I can only dream of that coming true, to reduce my loses would help for a start, hope you are right, fingers crossed
Yes, I keep saying that once we get a CPR on HH after flow testing for a while, 11%+ of the recoverable oil down there can be attributed to Alba. Not sure of the value of each barrel in the ground though I believe offshore is around $3-$5? So I would like to think $7-$8+ for our sweet, cheaply drilled HH oil? Lately there have been hints that there is more connected oil than first thought. I would hope that the Portland zone alone would give Alba several million barrels, which would then translate into several multiples of current s/p. If the Kimmeridge, being 10x bigger can also be shown to hold proportional amounts of recoverable oil, then we ought to be many multiples of our current s/p. Once in the ground reserves are attributed, non equity finance can be raised to progress our other projects. So again, IMO, it would be daft to contemplate a sale of our HH stake prior to a CPR. Of course we are not experts nor privy to inside knowledge, so maybe things are not as rosy at HH as Ukog paint them to be, so if it turns out that we do sell our stake there we have to assume our own oil guys are less than confident of the longer term prospects.
Looking back at UKOG YA RNS this provision stuck out:
'This Loan agreement also provides for further funding on the same terms of between £3.6 million and £4.5 million dependent on the operational performance of the Horse Hill asset.'
GF has previously stated he wants to be in control of destiny and after Brockham I have a feeling he may have lined up a deal with UKOG so he can sell HH, drill Amitsoq, drill TBS and get Clogau up and running..
My guess is £4M cash plus UKOG shares and GF can get all three moving next year..
All imo of course but YA provisional funding in place for UKOG would make sense..
Any thoughts ?
Dsfat, excellent summary as usual. :)
Alba time is fast approaching. IMO next year is going to be very interesting. Hold tight.
Parsley2 that's quite funny..
I think Alba could hit 1p soon and here's why:
11.765% of HH where HH-2z is now being prepared for an extensive extended well test ("EWT") programme, expected to commence in the coming weeks. The EWT, which will include the use of a high-capacity/high-rate downhole electric pump or "ESP", is planned over a minimum 90-day flow period, following which HH-2z and HH-1 will be retained and converted into long-term oil production wells.
UKOG have circa £8mm of YA debt to shift making them very unattractive at present even with HH-2z and HH-1 operations coming to fruition which opens up Alba as the only other HHDL partner likely to rise on good news (DOR asx trading is expensive and they only hold 4% of HHDL)
So investors must be considering Alba on HH alone.
Commencement of Maiden Drilling Programme at Clogau Gold Mine could deliver some interesting results given they have been modelling for some time they must hold up some degree of optimism. Wont cost much (funded) and wont take long (couple of weeks) so another reason for new investors to like Alba's short term prospects.
Greenland very much in the news with US meeting with Denmark last week and rapid Greenland climate change warming up Alba's projects: Thule Black Sands, Amitsoq, Inglefield and Moritsoq.
https://www.euronews.com/2019/11/15/greenland-airport-becomes-latest-victim-of-climate-change
Other factors that might encourage new investors to Alba could be UJO £5mm placing and UK fracking ban which has affected the likes og igas..
So good HH-2z results, some Gold in Wales drilling and a deal on Greenland asset (TBS is my guess) and 1p would be gone (by Christmas I think was my prediction :-)
imo of course but it feels like things are starting to align
nookie, holding here too, showing down again
Won’t be selling until 1p+ anyway.
this is wrong !17 and 18 on iii
Broker First Equity has this as a buy from yesterday
on live feed i have it +3.91 last trade 0.178 at 08.03

yep, it is now, its crap
13.65% down according to lse wtf!
Not down yet after 5 minutes , could be a good day? Ha Ha
I have no doubts about Alba. It seems the exaggerated hype from fat boy DL and his minigases did all the damage years ago.
What ever the good news is, it never does anything to the share price except deplete it, too many promises that is all at the mo
