I don’t believe these 3 deals can be valued to be honest. They’re initial partner deals to prove the tech in commercial environments. Once they’re seen to be working and providing benefit then that’s when we’ll start seeing value sales.
Thanks for the advice DW ....i am always willing to learn more ...thats why i asked you where did you read about the system size for Extreme E ?
DW - twist this all you like. You’re never satisfied with news when it arrives and you are quick to jump to your own conclusions. If you’re as dissatisfied with AFCs management and the direction we’re heading then this investment is not right for you any longer. Either go with the flow or get out is my recommendation. You keep saying I’m naive....whilst I’m invested in the company I trust the governance within the BOD and that they’re working as a team to deliver a set of commercially viable products that will (eventually) deliver the share holder value we all want.
I also invested in this company 10 years ago as I believed and still believe that AFC will be part of a transition to clean energy production. If that’s naive then great- I’m happy and content with my investment.
Interesting ....where did you find the system size ?....AFC have only said a bespoke system .
DW .....Do you know what happened to the AFC demonstration charger after the roadshow ?....could it be at Dunsfold and still being shown to potential customers ?....could it have been modified into the Extreme E charger ?....could it be possible that Extreme E have visited Dunsfold ?....perhaps even Lewis Hamilton has been to Dunsfold....he spent time in the UK ....early August for the British Grand Prix....and he certainley knows all about Dunsfold from the Top Gear Test Drives...
DW do you really think Lewis Hamilton would say those things if he wasn’t confident that the system works and it’s going to be delivered in December? His reputation would be in tatters man !
Your constant bleating is tiresome. Your research is great but I often feel you put that in to balance your many negative comments
We have to accept that there is only one thing that will move this and that is orders. Not vanity projects or "orders" to "exhibit" the product like Acciona. Firm orders with a recurrent revenue stream.
Until Bond delivers on those he has questions to answer.
SH, they could have told Lewis anything and he'd have said 'amazing', this does not validate that we have a working system that will sell in volume. I understand DW your frustration but with so many posters against you surely you realise you need to take a break and see what happens between now and the end of the year, we have at least a year end update and the Hiiroc system being ready in December, plus more news from AB was promised this year, it's only 2 months to go.
Said so, “why is the PPS not moving?”
Most likely due to AFC not having a revenue stream and the markets’ risk-reluctance in current climate as business adapts to the circumstances. These are big money deals for a product that is unknown and un-proven over time, DISRUPTIVE TECH in the current turbulent situation is risk.
Acciona are not ‘Bob the builder’ down the road. DeNora are not fly-by-night. Julich are not a college play group. ExE are not signed up to multiple broadcasters to expect 1,000 viewers.
DW - do you think Lewis Hamilton would have said those things yesterday unless he was convinced we had an amazing product. Let’s face it, if AFC aren’t participating then the cars won’t be racing. Critical component of the race series !
You are completely ignoring the impact of covid19.
It would have been ‘blowing a kiss in a dark room’ had AFC been shouting out since March ‘20. The successful roadshow had just finished when the virus changed things. And business is still adapting.
Has the problem of global pollution been resolved.? ..NO. Will solar and wind energy supply 100% of demand for clean energy.? ..NO.
I urge you to be at the next AGM. Not sure you have ever been able to attend, be there, get involved in reality.!, say your piece, and assess the entire site, operation, people first-hand.
‘nuff-sed’.
Dw,
Your CONSTANT bashing is becoming ridiculous. What the * is wrong with you.?
Of course there will be a wider platform for the tech, of course the number of enquiries will grow ...because AFC now have a product ready for market FOR THE FIRST TIME. Strategic partners is a likely outcome as the tech becomes recognized as the next solar or wind in clean energy. The next few months could well be exciting and more than likely will see a growing list of customers.
Nothing you quoted there is unreasonable. It all illustrates the current position of a move from R&D to full commercial activity.
Which-ever you view FuelCells, they are not cheap, and the operating requirements are new/different to current/previous accepted ‘routines’. So new distruptive tech must reasonably struggle to reach accepted understanding. This is all happening.
We, shareholders, must accept that when Mr Bond took over as CEO, the dream was verging on a nightmare outcome, power, efficiency and longevity were all short of expectations. Mr Bond recognized that and deserves credit for addressing the issues full-on.
All here acknowledge your research and effort, and we share the frustration. Try and take a step back, view without involvement, things take their course, and guard against becoming ill.
