fjones no-one gives two hoots what name you choose to give it. "Scaremongering" to you, common sense to most people and a counterpoint to the "happy-clappy" club.... Oh and frank, 11 million is more than enough for me; I am not looking to buy any more unless we see the sp fall after a delay in receiving the license extension. Are you saying that is not a possibility Frank? It will be the license delay that causes the sp to fall Frank and nothing that I might post on this or any other board. But then a simpleton like you can only see your own motivations in other people's actions eh? You might learn one day not to judge other people by your own base standards.
"BG don`t feed his fire please !!!" Maybe you ought to heed your own words Frank.
BG don`t feed his fire please !!!
"it is the immediate and potential, short term impact on the sp that I am concentrating on" I`m not invested here at the moment but this is exactly what I call scare mongering, carry on Crusty I can get some cheaper share in here GOSH same old, same old, if anything it going further up soon ;o)
@ BG see 14th April at 9:11
"I am less concerned about any possible license delay impacting the eventual Spud date as unless the delay is considerable there should (hopefully) be ample time to mitigate those delays; indeed there is the possibility (I stress possibility) that APT will plough in with their preparations regardless of any delay
It is the immediate and potential, short term impact on the sp that I am concentrating on."
Goodnight and Good Luck all.
That was not the material point that I was questioning BG more the inference that we would have the date for a seismic contract soon. I would suggest that we will only have a date for the seismic contract once the license extension has been confirmed; not the other way round.
As regards the timing, where or when have I suggested that the work programme might be put off for another year? I certainly do not recall inferring that? Quite the contrary BG, if you check my posts, indeed you may recall, that only a few days ago I actively stated that even if the license extension was delayed it is unlikely to have a material impact on the date for CH1 spud (there should be enough wiggle room), unless the license is seriously delayed. Even more, that APT may well plough on with the work programme regardless. I stand by that view.
What %age chance of a delay to the work programme of as much as another year? Minimal I hope. But any delay in the license or Spud date is likely to have a negative impact on the sp. As you yourself seemingly agreed only a few days ago.
To ignore that possibility would be reckless based on past performance and yet the vast majority of posters here seem to be taking it for granted; I simply feel the need to offer a counterpoint to those somewhat bullish predictions.
Crusty you keep banging on with your negativity, but seriously, what do you think the chances are (% wise) for the extension being delayed to the extent that APT's planed work-program for 2021/2022 (considering weather windows) has to be put off for another year, is it big enough to justify your negativity?
And "probably" with a cherry on top?
Do you have any knowledge of that or just speculating again PoC?
Should be awarding 3D seismic contract with a start date confirmed, probably rolled into another 1 year extension of licence.
By this time next week we will be either up or down.It would be nice to see that the change from the bulldozer will herald quicker negotiations and the licence should be a formality but again the fact it's down to the wire is worrying ...however if we get the licence next week I believe we will see great sp momentum into the drill like we did for nt2 ...good luck all ith...no doubt the band of merries will be back next week ...rampers ...derampers and people who sound like they should be in pampers
