before Xmas is too tight a timeframe
below 20p within a year at 5-1 you are on
"The product has successfully completed technical transfer to manufacture and is now in FULL manufacture "
Being Biosure EXCLUSIVE manufacturer, Abingdon is currently manufacturing the testing kit for Biosure to sell worldwide!
Yes we know they have a product but we are Still waiting for some orders and they are running low on funds. The legal case hanging over their head isn’t helping.
Then two weeks later the company signed an exclusive deal with Biosure to be the exclusive worldwide manufacturer of the CE marked COVID-19 IgG antibody self test. The product has successfully completed technical transfer to manufacture following a pilot production run and is now in full manufacture at Abingdon's expanded manufacturing facilities at York and Doncaster. It is the only approved COVID-19 IgG antibody self test in the UK at the moment!
"23 August 2021: Abingdon Health plc (AIM: ABDX) a leading international developer and manufacturer of high quality and effective rapid tests, announces the launch today of the BioSURE COVID-19 IgG Antibody Self Test. In July 2021, Abingdon announced that it had signed an exclusive manufacturing agreement with BioSure (UK) Limited ("BioSure"), a UK company specialising in the provision of rapid in-vitro diagnostic testing solutions, including self-testing.
This new test, for which BioSure is the legal manufacturer, has been CE marked specifically for self-testing. The test uses a fraction of a drop of finger-prick blood (2.5uL) with results in 20 minutes. This allows individuals to know and monitor their own antibody status pre-vaccination, post vaccination and following infection with the SARS-CoV-2 virus. It will be particularly useful as populations worldwide continue to be vaccinated to monitor the effectiveness of an individual's immunity status. This will have utility alongside potential booster vaccinations. Abingdon will be the exclusive worldwide manufacturer for the product.
The product has successfully completed technical transfer to manufacture following a pilot production run and is now in full manufacture at Abingdon's expanded manufacturing facilities at York and Doncaster under the Company's ISO13485:2016 quality management system. Technical transfer is the process whereby three or more independent production runs are manufactured, at increasing scale, and validated to illustrate the product is suitable for mass manufacture."
Oi, that was a serious rebuttal.
From the August RNS it did sound like they were struggling.
“ The lack of payment has already had significant implications for Abingdon, a Northern Powerhouse company, and its employees and, due to the need to contain costs and manage cash, the Company's workforce has reduced from 190 to 130 employees over the past four months with a number of valued employees having to be made redundant. The pressure on cash flow will increase the longer that payment by DHSC is outstanding.”
To more seriously rebut Jolly’s ‘concerns’ for the benefit of potential investors:
ABDX have spent a significant proportion of their funds raised in their IPO to build two large capacity world class diagnostic manufacturing centres.
They are now out negotiating with the likes of avacta and I’m sure several others to fill their manufacturing capacity.
It is completely to be expected that more was spent than earned while the facilities were being built!
Oh Josh you make me laugh as if Jolly has £100, he lost all his money investing and now he trolls shares from his bedroom at his mums house.
Jolly spectator - I’ll make you a gentleman’s bet. If we drop below 20p or have a placement before Xmas I’ll give £100 to charity? If not you do the same? Deal?
Jolyholdergold. I feel the same as you
The only reason this share is at its current level is due to some collective n...zi . Oddly enough just spoken to a few this evening. Yellow belly s inmho. . .
£6m but running down...how close to zero will they let it run?
you were confident at twice this sp lol
I do not think a placement is likely. From memory there was £6m left in the last results.
I am confident that the tie up with avacta will see 100% return from these values. Not only will that ensure the share price recovers but that abdx will become a profitable company.
ps what bile on oex? I haven't visited oex for yeeeears
tick tock
Boiler room crew here as well eh, check him out spreading his bile on the oex board.
I'm just looking at this share. What makes peeps think there's a placing coming?
Hi jolly
So the placing is coming
I sold a lot of these recently as lost confidence.....so you can expect a phenomenally good RNS any day now.
for me
with cash low, placement remains possibility...
so who knows? new lows? sub 20p eventually?
