Why do the larger companies on Aim no longer convert to the main board?
ABC would be firmly in the FTSE250 and would gain more institutional shareholders.
I thought that one of the founding principles of aim was to grow and move the the main board.
Forgot them as well. Expecting very good things going forward. Solid.
I’m a bit lucky I suppose having 45 k invested in shares mainly in gsk Abcam and Stan chartered. Rest in funds.
I would of agreed but after reading biospace.com it gives me hope. Having said that I would dearly like the sp to tumble a good bit so I can get out of yourgene with a small profit and add here as in the long run abcams a safe bet. (Who said bet) :-)
Regarding the 6 weeks thing, things will get worse before they get better tooooo much optimism at the moment in the rally we are seeing at the moment
@ 1275 I still abc will drop patience is a virtue I am in several stocks down 65 k ate the moment just have to wait a few months until they pick up still looking for bargains thought aig was but looking at it long term it will go down a bit more before that happens
Didn’t like the fundamentals so no go for me. Denby69 are you still invested and in your view which way do you reckon the sp will go in the short term, meaning 6 weeks.
For you who are interested biospace.com is a good website for up to date news in the biopharma industry.
Many thanks. Will have another look at Mesoblast again. Looks interesting. :)
Halifax (who aren't good so not recommending them) They are absolute Rubish
I don't see why not they are listed. Don't have any Aussie shares but with Halifax (who aren't good so not recommending them) I've got US and European shares.
Before I ring my broker. Does anyone know if I can buy shares in a company called Mesoblast limited who are on the Australian stock exchange.
Horizon is a no go area for me. I sold most of my holdings in Abcam so now waiting for weakness so I can get back in. Excellent company.
What worries me about Horizon is their senior team have poor credentials and they had a large impairment from one of their business units last year, might have a pervasive issue of being overly optimistic on future cash flows.
Abcam is getting close to breaking into FTSE 100 should get a boost when it does.
On another note, Monday sees horizon discovery’s annual report put out. If the earnings per share are better than the minus 23p per share it may be interesting, as the sp is low now. 158 million shares in issue.
It may make people money as a bet but I won’t be buying. Fundamentals not good and I suspect they will be printing more shares! Plus phase one starting maybe early 2021. By then other companies ( the big guys) hopefully will be very near to discovering a vaccine that can be given to the general public .
Scan cell? Sorry I don’t know anything about it. Will check on the internet shortly, thanks.
I notice that the herd is arriving at yourgene. So hopefully I can escape with a small profit.
Wondered when you might appear LOL what happens if abc team up with Scancell the sky might be the limit :-)
Going to have to drop a good bit for me to buy back in. Preferably around 1150.
Good the yanks love this share
a little bit of weakness to day
It will happen maybe next week . I did a very silly thing buying yourgene , still it might pop back
Up I was attracted by the earnings per share which was at least positive.
I must stick with my principles, only buy bio pharmaceutical that I like and are in profit and large cap meaning for me gsk, AstraZeneca and Abcam and just concentrate on the ups and downs.
I dont know, I am surprised that this has gone so high any one would have thought that they have a serum for this 19 virus ?
The sp should drop as at the moment low trades going through.
Definitely took a gamble on yourgene. £1000.
