Okay I rang back Halifax share dealing and spoke to someone else! Yes my account will be credit with 35p per share around the 24th March!
Thank god she was wrong! I’m relieved!
Where you lot been for the last 6 months, you will get 35p per share unless you specified otherwise and you wouldn't want the alternative offer anyway.
contact aa investor relation. your shares would have been taken private.

Hi
The girl at Halifax sharedealing sounded young and very unsure! God I hope she was wrong! I know my investment is small compared to some. Fingers and toes crossed ??
Hi, please I am a complete novice and after an upsetting day yesterday when I called Halifax sharedealing to find out What happens to my AA shares only to be told that because they are delisted I have lost all my money!
I’ve done a lot of googling since then and came across this thread ! So is Halifax wrong? Will I get paid 35p for each of the shares I own (I’m still in a loss but this would be at least something?)
Nobody has written to me or emailed me as to what is happening or what I need to do? Halifax were no help at all!
AA has become a private company again. Should never have listed all those years ago. Companies bought us and stripped us of all our assets and that's what lead us to.our decline with huge debts
There was no way AA could sustain tge debt. Any profit they were generating was going back to pay the debt and interest. Without the take over, the company would've collapsed along with the 20% u still managed to get back. It sounds ****e but honestly that was the best outcome. I work for the company
The AA is dead, so are your shares - why are you still here?
Why did aa institutional shareholders majority vote to crystallise their losses ? Barring the court case a lot of us are due to get whacked big time with 80 percent plus losses , we could be on the cusp of a motoring revolution with the birth of electric cars and the Aa could be very well placed for a turnaround
AA will be delisted son if i m not wrong. does anyone know will it be trade by different name or marge with any company which have trading name in uk stock market? thanks
My wife works for them and just had a email off Simon breakwell saying money should be in mid april is that right I read RNS to be 14 days after 10 th march

@jj..
I am with iWeb and the Corporate Action states that we will get cash proceeds for any shares we hold, there is no option for electing for shares. Cash only.
Yep owned by Duracell now.
Has there been a deadline set? I had word and hoped sooner and planned ti use up my ISA allowance for the current tax year.
12 weeks.
Anyone any idea about dates for delisting ie money gets paid into are accounts
Wow what tremendous insight. And where is this “US” market you speak of??
Unless you elect to invest more money and elect for the shares, you will get cash. the default is cash. So if you haven't responded, you will get cash.
Can i give yous all some advice. I cashed a £500 loss after the 35p announcement And put that 3k into US stocks. Ive turned that 3k into 29k buying stocks like alpp. Hcmc. Cciv. Nio. Rezzf. Selling the AA is the best thing i ever done. One of the worst investments i ever made. Stick to US. Much better. Free to trade and open from 1pm so you can get work done! Good luck
Hi jj, Thanks for the information. Will we get issued shares @35p, which will continue to trade, or will we get cash and no longer hold any shares?
