Yes I am with iWeb and the note said the consolidation 'could' be a good thing. There are no guarantees though. Here is the exact text:

When a company consolidates its share capital the number of shares in the Company reduces. This will impact the share price as the total value of shares will remain the same but there are fewer shares in circulation, so the price can increase significantly. You may therefore notice an increase in the share price when the Consolidation becomes effective.

The proposed consolidation "1 New Ordinary share for every 20 Existing Ordinary shares held" should be a good thing for existing share holders, no? Hopefully a significant rise in the share price.

I am with iWeb and the Corporate Action states that we will get cash proceeds for any shares we hold, there is no option for electing for shares. Cash only.

Hi jj, Thanks for the information. Will we get issued shares @35p, which will continue to trade, or will we get cash and no longer hold any shares?

Must admit I missed all the takeover news. Have tried to read this thread but finding it difficult to pick-out what happens to current investors. I am in profit having bought @25p. Will shares these simply transfer over to the new company and we get a new ticker? I am with iWeb and there is no corporate action outstanding.

Just to be safe I exercised my rights to the open offer this morning. Have sold all my existing holding , applied for my full entitlement plus additional shares.

As others have said selling your existing investment at +60p and buying back at 57p would have been an option. But as the sp has dropped to 58.5p I think I will wait for a week to see how things pan out. I am more than happy with my existing % gain.

Sorry I have not been through an offer like this before. Are they saying that I can buy N number of shares at 0.57p if I wish?
If that's the case then its not really attractive to me, or am I missing something obvious?

I was fortunate to buy back in April and June at 12p and 27p respectively. I am now showing a 194% gain. Like many of you I have the option to receive subscription shares where each share entitles you to 1 new share in N Brown Group plc at GBP0.57 per share. With a total of 7,336 shares what would be the best move?

The new offer of 11 shares per 18 at 0.57 per share its lower than what they are currently trading at 0.65p per share.

If I don't take up the offer do I stand to lose in anyway? if the dilution brings the share price down? What is everyone else doing?

Rookie1 thanks, I understand now. As I only have a small exposure to PMO I will let the chips ride :0)
My other investments have weathered the storm better and overall I am in the green.

Say on the day of the merger (going with the 5% scenario) if someone owned £100K of PMO shares (and the share price did not go up or down on that day) then would they still be left with an investment worth £100K or would it be considerably reduced?

Hi All,
I bought PMO back in March at 18p, only a few £1000's worth so no great concern, but still hurts after the rise we so in June. What are the implications of the statement in the merger "PMO shareholders will only own around 5%"? Does it mean our shares will be diluted and worth less than they are today?

I know the merger it's not a done deal yet but would like to know some more on this point.
