Thanks for clarifying.
I had someone trying to tell me that Northern Trust was the biggest shareholder in HBR last week when really two of their clients were two of the biggest creditors of PMO and they got shares...
I have only recently found LSE as a forum and don’t post often. Will probably not express a strong opinion on any stock be it positive or negative . I will call out rubbish on the “institutional investors” theme as there’s lots of bad actors with agendas.
22:15
Definitely not directed at you, I agreed with your post and do not recall any others posts that you may have made that have raised my hackles.
22.12 if this is directed at me that’s a bit odd. I had merely corrected somebody who was trying to insinuate that there are major investors in here for big money.
It’s a penny stock fella.
21:58 We have posters who though they claim professional qualifications post on here absolute arrant rubbish, mistake $ for £ (or just omit )and indulge in very unprofessional personal attacks either on DW or other posters, it seems some adopt the policy of any means to achieve their own ends, I have no great knowledge but I think I can tell when the disingenuous are about :-))
@brombarb I have a small speculative holding here and still sitting on a nice profit.
I have only posted factual information on here as I see so much rubbish posted on a broad range of topics.
Have worked in financial markets my whole career and can’t tolerate some of the deliberate misleading information that is posted. Some really insightful posters too that have been invested far longer than I.
20:53 and that is the crux - 5% or above and it's a form 603 , so far I have not seen any .
"The obligation to report threshold crossings derives from Part 6C.1 of the Corporations Act 2001. Section 671B(1) of the Corporations Act 2001 obliges a person who obtains a “substantial holding” (5%) in a listed public company to disclose the interest to the company within two days of acquiring the interest and serve a copy of the disclosure on the relevant market operator (generally the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX)).
A substantial shareholder is a person holding or having interest in 5% of the voting shares in a company (or if there is more than one class, 5% or more of the shares in any class). The shareholder must thereafter notify the company and the relevant market operator of any subsequent change of 1% or more in their interests."
Now if I saw this posted by someone else I would probably do a bit of googling and just validate, but that is just me :-))
OTC is a market formed by an amalgamation of brokers, they are buying & selling stock to private investors just as market makers in AIM would do but of course to be in the market they have to ensure they have a route to the stock they are selling and also a disposal route, doubt any real manipulation or smoke and mirrors JUST trade.

As usual read between the lines,
Every activity, every transaction, every company statement, every ASX release is being subjected to scrutiny and very often negative spin often on the flimsiest basis and often obvious lack of knowledge of regulatory regimes, oil & gas regulations and practise and often by posters who state they would not be invested here under any circumstances, have been and told us they have sold up (some with poor timing), what are these posters worried about or is it just jealousy at having missed out :-)
I comfort myself with
YTD Return 230%
1 Year Return 520%

But of course you have had to be invested.
:-)) :-)) :-))
Thanks Spinefx obviously irrelevant information. I blame 8horse for his"seams always institutional buys" comment. Still onwards and upwards! Hopefully.
Would hazard a guess that there are few (if any) institutional investors in this stock. Just because their name appears beside trade or holding data means very little. Will be their clients as the beneficial owners. If any one of their clients had a significant enough holding they would need to disclose to the exchange.

This table represents ASX broker data. It's really the bottom line that's of most interest and often overlooked. It balances out, essentially.
Buy vol = sell volume
Net value =0
Just brokers creating volume around market sentiment. They are not holding any shares.
18.37 - I doubt very much that the table represents ii holdings. At a guess, I’d say it is the sum of transactions going through brokers. The volume strikes me as odd, doesn’t tally with the volumes reported any market, so it may also represent the movement of shares between markets. As to does the total value of sells being equal to the total value of buys.
18:26 the list refers to US companies and information is in $
Surely if there are institutional investors holding shares, then that must be encouraging for LTM PI's
I do have an account if that's what you mean, a post has been made before this one possibility more. This is more up to date information. I'll post the question if that helps.
18.05 - I did see that a few days ago, but uncertain what it means, or even what market it is for.
The only thing I can really draw from it is that there has been a very high volume of shares moving around, which we already know.
17:22 think to get the link need to be signed into HC, would be interesting if could get the source.
https://hotcopper.com.au/attachments/untitled-png.3090287/
and then understand what it means :-)
No to my knowledge there ain't any institutional investors listed, in top 20 list, but we did have three with a total holding of 8 million odd.
Post referred to posted on LSE page 222 by 8horse 12/4/22 at 10:42 as said could be of interest to board members. Up
16:16 I do not look at many posts on HC so am unsure which post, I assume it just the TOP20 and list of nominee accounts ?
as per page 73

Brombarb, sorry to impose, someone on hot copper LSE has posted once again list of USA institutional investors holdings, I'm unable to copy and paste, could be determined useless information, obviously if it's not posted here, it is!
