Maf pointed this out - but on Friday quite a few of the Covid stocks ABDX, Syn, BRH - all had a last minute lift. Syn was very close to the bell on Friday. Maybe it was the same for the others? Presumably not just one buyer but lots of PI's responding to news about rising cases, Deltacron and BA2. I'll be watching Syn on Monday to hopefully catch a few quid to stick in SHG.
Next Source
Its a great ramble. Added today.
Waiting for the EV future. Or the more current interest in non Russian commodities.
If u r really brave try O&G stocks on NYSE.
That is what u call multi bagging
Nobody knows about timeframe for this mess to cleanup. Did a few trades and for a change I made some money.
Got some EVR as they have 37p dividend this week (record date 11th March). So at current price of 80p , that's a reasonable yield or in other words effective buy price of 43p.
For the brave who have deep pockets and can wait for ´normality ´ to come back …
Like always , the market will correct sometime in the future
Hello All,
Any views on stocks with some Russia heavy exposure ? I have traded POG and EVR; don't have courage to hold them yet.
Thanks
I totally see that ihowells. You are right. We need a nice normal nickel price as we prepare, build and eventually produce.
The removal of supply from Norlisk, in an already constrained market,is an eye opener to the world.
Sadly, for someone like HZM, I still think $25/30k a ton is optimum. Otherwise the drive to other battery ingredients will be pursued with extra vigour.
As for HZM, I think the chances of it being taken over increase by the day. Having said that I hope to see it in production in 2 years time. I had a spread bet in nickel that I closed a year ago sadly….lol.
Oh and BTW, nickel has just 4X in a week! 81K from 25K. Just crazy...
XV,
Well done for holding. The world has had a wake up call. Renewables are needed now more than ever and Next Source has its Molo asset in Madagascar ( next to Africa). A long way from Russia, a fair distance from China. With arguably the best grade super flake graphite and a source of vanadium that is as efficient to mine as FAR's - Kazakhstan asset, one could ask the question, 'does sir Mick need FAR?' I guess the answer is that he doesn't need it although he will maintain it to scope out options but that may well be longer term.
HZM = Long term hold for steady returns
Next Source = Long term hold for steady returns
FAR = Next to Putins Russia and Putin has already stepped in this year stepped in to quash revolutionary factions this very year...
Bottom line is Next Source are about to start mining as the plant is nearly finished. Who else can fund and set up a mine in a year with off take agreements with the Japanese and indirectly Elon Musk?
This is about the most misunderstood and underestimated mining company on the planet?
Also worth keeping a closer eye on commodity prices on an App like Investing.com. Those spot prices don't necessarily convert to share price movements unless a stock is producing a real commodity but they are super useful as stocks are struggling.
Sorry for the ramble
I bought a few today. I didn't realize nickel was up. I had some small profit from POG and just noticed that HZM was turning blue when everything else was red - tempted to hold as I figure we are at the beginning of a major re-alignment of supply chains of key raw materials - Next Source Materials took a 11% hit today - up til now its been super bullish. Presume its a buy unless there's something about vanadium I don't know - but used for making batteries that store the surplus generated by wind power? Sounds like a real SIPP classic for our realigned world - one to tuck away for a few years.
Nickel up 70% today alone so challenging $56k. Not translating to HZM sp in a big way but hey ho. It will get there in a year or so when it’s closer to production
syn flying. mad day.
maybe there's a reason for it.
hi, yes it is,Personally, couldnt bring myself to do quick trade.even though i would have made a quick profit.i think some may have been caught on the spike though, but thats the game.
Nice move though supporting a uk company .gla
Nickel flying 10% per day :-)
Is that one of the Russian stocks? I just bought and sold POG. Gonna stick the profit in Syn. And probably lose it all. Or not.
seems to be flying since 11.30. friday fomo for the divi ? With everything going on abit of a gamble.
Sorry arriving late to this party. March....
