...that there may be something else afoot. For example is there not such good news around the corner in one or more areas of the Company. But, in all likelihood, we shall never know. I wonder who the other potential bidder was, what they were offering and is it truly a "done deal"?

yip guys its low but i did say that whilst hanging on to the losers within the group they could struggle, so 70p maybe not so bad, good news for spice group employees ( well most of them) in general is ciniven are known for building up the good parts ruthlessly getting rid of the bad parts i.e facilities growing it and selling on, so be worth watching the outcome of this co, it is still a bit strange that they went from a no way to a sell position or do they know something we dont..

The 70p offer which the company seems to have accepted in principle at least is disappointingly low IMO. Of course my judgement is coloured by the fact that I shall make a small loss as I bought, not at its peak, but a couple of p higher than this. Disposal of businesses seemed to be going well too. However, on the bright side, when it was 28p not long ago I'd have settled for 70. Hey-ho.

Hello all - had forgotten about this wee share. Can anyone give me a brief update - the last time I had a look on here it wasnt looking good, but now its on the way back up again. Talk of takeover - whats the thoughts on price per share?? Thanks all in advance.
