I have a feeling that we will hear some news in 2019
I can’t see this getting over the line before that, the problem with that is we will by then be running low on cash and Art may be forced to again go cap in hand to the market

Holiday season is fast approaching

Let’s hope we can have some news before 2019

GLA LTH Art ??? Can you get on with it

I disagree on timelines. IF there was not the dispute the I have a feling we would of had drill dates buy now. It wasted 60 days. It is funny that NPC was already done on ext ? So I expect news in next 1/5 weeks !

For me the key news that indicated we were actually very close to finally getting everything together was the announcement of the NNPC licence extension in October. This gave us independent confirmation that detailed negotiations were going on between Shorecan & the NNPC on OPL226 & that these talks were likely proceeding because the SP & accompanying finance were in hand. Thus I conclude that Arthur/Kola are in the final rounds of complicated 3-4 way talks between Shorecan (operator); NNPC (regulator); Service Provider (+ finance); & most likely Bank Mauritius syndicate (back-end finance).

As the NNPC takes a very detailed interest in the minutiae of agreements, costs of rig hire etc I could imagine an awful lot of to'ing & fro'ing taking place between all parties. From afar I get the impression there is momentum behind this now with all parties & my hunch is all want it out of the way before the February elections.

Sub mariner you may be right on the first point. But I disagree with your time lines for other points. That is my opinion only based on peripheral news, company RNS’s and recent goings on.

Hi guys,

Firstly, I wanted to extend my apologies for some of my previous posts. I have stated that I have held this stock longer than most, I have been exceedingly frustrated by Art which has skewed my outlook for the stock. I want to believe that he is going to pull this off, obviously the fact that he has not been able to meet any timelines has been very frustrated. I wanted to ask you guys, do you truly think this will go ahead, throw the bias of owning this stock aside, I want objective opinions. I feel there are a few hurdles that COPL have to get through, obviously the introduction of negotiations with a second service provider is very promising and I believe speaks to the value of the asset. I'm hoping for all of you that this turns into a success story, especially for those who bought in much higher.

All the best from across the pond,

Berta
