"A Company is not able to issue equity because the nominal value of each Existing Ordinary Share is
in excess of the market price of Existing Ordinary Shares and the 2006 Act prohibits shares being issued
at a price below their nominal value."
How far away is PIRES share price from its Nominal share price ? I have an idea the Nominal value is 1p ?
Is the historic share rejigging about to be repeated and scheduled ?

It is possible to imagine an AI model being trained on a local area and used locally to ensure correct delivery. Your big problem would be generating the training dataset, unless you dipped into Google Maps or a similar resource. Otherwise you are left with.... Oh, hang on. All your delivery personnel snapping pictures of stuff on people's doorsteps to build up the training set for you.
That could/should become a privacy nightmare. I may have to have some words with my Clan of Privacy Pirates.
Otherwise... Yes it makes sense.
Turn up at 23a Goatse Gardens with another dildo delivery. Snap a picture of four foot box next to the door. Send the picture back to local base. Picture matches previous dildo deliveries. Scan local Wi-Fi for IP addresses. Add Dildos to online advertising preferences. Add Dildos to Pizza Mailshots. Job Done.
What's not to like?
With very few material share trades coming through, despite an upbeat AGM, and despite a new identity, there appears to be little support. Indeed there is no clear floor to the share price, if anything further weakness is the way forward by the look of things, unless some dramatic, and substantial sustained Corporate news is released. SVV has not produced any material upside either despite £millions of funds raised. I would imagine those funds now near exhausted so rounds of further fundraising announcements may already be in the pipeline. The current share price is not underpinned by NBV ?
Maybe just holding on behalf of their client as instructed by CA? Ready to action as required.
It appears the deal between Cisco and splunk is done. So v bullish for smart tech.
Oh,
"Maybe Peterhouse wanted more holding?"
If the numbers stack then Peterhouse, the companies broker, had a holding of zero before. Do brokers take a holding in the company they represent?
Don't really follow Pires. Cropped up when Tern tried to buy them. Having had a poke I see Peterhouse is their broker.
I'm sure it's all legit but 8 million @ 1.2p [?] makes £96K for services. Hang on my sums must be wrong. 4.37% of the company for 96K makes it worth £2.2 million.
"The current PIRI market cap is 2.44M. The company's latest EPS is 0 and P/E is N/A."
Wow.
And now you are suggesting Akers took or rather exchanged 4.4% of that for 'services'?
After one of Pires investments did a 'strategic deal' with Kerplunk?
You would have to take a guess that since they RNS'd the deal it must, literally must, mean loads of wazonga on the way, unless it doesn't, so why did Mr Akers apparently get rid of a third of his holdings, to the companies broker no less, on the day that one was announced?
Could the transfer of shares to Peterhouse been in lieu of a payment for services from C Akers for example? Maybe Peterhouse wanted more holding?
Still makes no sense. Assuming the 8 million is a match, be a strange coincidence if it wasn't, why did Akers decide to dump over one third of his holdings to Peterhouse on the day Smarttech did a deal with Splunk?
Looks like Market is keeping its powder dry until some clear share enhancing news causing some share price enhancement. PIRI or MFAI or whatever PIRES wants to call itself isn't really setting the Global AI, All things Internet on fire with its recent Corporate messages , YET ?
One RNS with supposedly good news used to cover up Akers shunting 8 Million of his holding over to Peterhouse?
Excellent positive news from this Investee outfit ,hopefully giving a boost to the bombed out share price. A positive in a sea of negatives.?
Smarttech247 Group PLC - Investee Company Update
Pires Investments plc (AIM: PIRI), the company focused on next generation technology, notes the announcement by its portfolio company, Smarttech247 Group PLC ("Smarttech247"), that it has entered into a strategic partnership with cybersecurity giant, Splunk Inc (NASDAQ: SPLK).
Splunk Inc., a cybersecurity and observability leader, helps make organisations more digitally resilient. Businesses use Splunk's unified security and observability platform to keep digital systems secure and reliable. Cisco Systems, Inc recently announced the intended acquisition of Splunk for around $28 billion to form one of the world's largest software companies.
The partnership with Splunk brings together Smarttech247's automation-driven and human-led VisionX managed detection and response (MDR) capabilities and Splunk's powerful SIEM technology solutions, creating a dynamic synergy that addresses the evolving needs of the changing threat landscape and delivers comprehensive solutions to drive security efficiencies.
This development follows on from the previous week's announcement by Smarttech247 of a new contract with an existing Government of Ireland Department client worth around ?400,000 over 2 years and a contract extension for another 3 years with another existing client, Auto Nation, the largest car retailer in the United States.
Nicholas Lee, Director at Pires Investment Plc, commented:
"The partnership between Smarttech247 and Splunk Inc. clearly demonstrates Smarttech247's progressive approach to cybersecurity and is further evidence of the progress that the company is making in the cybersecurity sector."
Are Low6 still going to IPO?
On the one hand the Holding Company is suggesting everything is "hunky dory" in that the investee Companies have unlocked the vault to quote " potential upside in shareholder value" and on the other hand says that investee Companies may require further funding, suggesting shareholdings dilution ? But then we get an announcement that a Major Substantial Holder has reduced voting rights by some 5%. How can that be ? You tell me why on the one hand there is share value upside where there is a reduction in a significant shareholding reduction. The sums and perception in PIRI are confusing. Chuck more secondary funding requests monies at this alleged go getting things of the future at your decision.
Whoopy Doo ! PIRI exhausted and come to the end of its current Corporate guise. A New name/identity. But will PIRI morph into the same old Corporate moribund outfit ? The chances are that it will in my opinion.
Already certain Sure Venture investee Companies have intimated they will need to raise additional funding ? How much is SVV worth £1 Millions ? after bleeding the market of investment funds totalling £20 Millions between them and the investee Companies. This stock has been proved to be an extremely poor Corporate Investment. Chuck more secondary offerings at your peril ?
Good news at Smarttech 247 with contract win which is positive news for Pires
Good news announced today over
Hopefully we see some buying return here... wish I could afford to average down... anyway someone bought 4k today hope it continues...

An exciting portfolio valued at 4.3p and trading at 1.825p (discount of 57.56%)
A very healthy £2.4m of cash at the time of the interview (72% of valuation)
Valuation at Friday's close on the RSP of 1.80 - 1.85p is £3.34m
Glad they kept that bit of insight to themselves which prompted them to buy in at "this lower price2" as they are down 25%on their investment ? Lets hope they dont buy any more at this current "lower price" as insight proved to be an unprofitable investment, just as well as it wasn't more than a few hundred quid LOL as it seems they know sweet fanny Adam acronym sfa, and like mega share price fall post investment. Corporate Equity and investing in start ups with lots of hope and promise but lacking in shareholder value upside with a pinch of scepticism.
Bread today jam tomorrow /
Soon it will cost you more to sell this share, including any proceeds to buy bread let alone jam What on earth are the Investee Companies doing to bring shareholder value upside. How many year's fall promises and false dawns / How many millions of shareholder support have been sunk into these moribund black hole coffers? Too much for nil return. The next phase will be more monies needed for working capital and marketing, leading to nothing return ? Corporate Finance only serves to enrich Corporate Coffers in my opinion. Even the Holding Companies are showing continued weakness and share price decline. PIRI will follow suit ?
Great to see some interest at this lower price...
Cannot believe we are sitting at a likely 50% discount to NAV as the nano cap and micro cap market looks set to perk up.
