Happy with the results
I do not think this is a forced sale per se. My understanding is this is a gradual sell-down with the distribution of proceeds to shareholders. This is different to a liquidation.
I agree with you insofar as assets will be sold at a discount. I expect this to be 10-20%. But given that today's share price is closer to 35% below NAV, I believe there is a sufficient margin of safety for people who buy shares today, to make an easy return on investment
Why do you not believe sales will realise NAV?

Who do you think would make the takeover? A foreign capital markets company, or a domestic takeover?

It is unclear what the average price per unit is? The market doesn't know how to value this
They have potentially diluted current shareholders to the tune of 15%. Directors appear not to care for the holdings of current shareholders
That is why the share price has not risen
Wish a more detailed timeline for commercialisation was given. Also unclear where they in the commercialisation process at present

The First Half Results say:
"Until the fiscal regime is improved, as a direct result of the Energy Profits Levy, investment across our operated and non‐operated portfolio has and will reduce, including the deferral and cancellation of certain 2023 and 2024 projects, impacting medium‐term production outlook, with production in 2024 expected to be lower than 2023 levels."
Is that a cause for concern?
Anyone know when the next divi is?
