I have been immensely privileged to share a stage with 100+ musicians to perform Bernstein's West Side Story symphonic suite. 25 minutes of musical joy from the pen of one of the 20th century's greatest musical minds. A great educator, composer, conductor and academic. Hope it's not too awful for you. It is more than sweet enough for me. Here is a snippet:

Cunningly, you didn’t actually specify as to which Friday. Very Swedish...
15p Friday, lol
Human beings are diverse creatures. As for me...heard melodies are sweet but those unheard are sweeter.
Couldn't let that idiotic swipe go unchallenged.
A great orchestra performing a great work, particularly live, is one of the most exhilarating experiences imaginable, for me.
The most life affirming expression of humanity. I could not exist without music.
And that's the awful thing about orchestras.
no.
An orchestra is a group of talented individuals gathered to achieve a common, identifiable purpose. They must remain faithful to the score, then execute and deliver an outcome which meets or exceeds expectations in a given timescale.
I can see absolutely no similarities here...
Or is it an orchestra...tuning up? Lol
They call for a report....there is one instantly available, which contains everything they could possibly want to know...the Kallak application
Not forgetting KS, which at some point will be subject of an exploitation application, assuming KS and KN are not joined and treated as on entity. Lord help us...
missing word sorry.....time, at any time.
Yes, Pocko...they certainly do... our stall is set out and has been for a very longtime, this isn't necessarily anything to do with us...our decision can be made by the government at any and needs no further debate. Interesting though.
More noise.
They have been talking about simplifying the application process sow for a year or more. Still talking about it, but doing nowt.
Another file in the pending tray.
Bunch of jokers.
There is nothing wrong with existing laws... just the application. They need to get on with the jobs in hand. That’s the problem with politicians in general... They all love a talking shop, but rarely have any action in them...
Though I'm not suggesting there are any bad bits, I haven't found any.
"Today, the permit processes for Swedish mining are long and complicated and also spread across several authorities. This may mean that important investments will not be made. The permit processes should therefore be simplified and shortened to strengthen the Swedish mining and mineral industry. The Committee on Industry, Public Health and Consumer Policy believes that the Riksdag should address a call, a so-called announcement, to the Government to come back with concrete proposals for this. In particular, the committee emphasizes the possibility of giving an authority, such as Sweden's geological survey (SGU), the overall responsibility for the entire permit
process...."

oddly, all the just links worked for me......
I just cut and paste me - worth checking out avenza - it's where the real Swedish nutters live;

anyway - 0.92 sek - gradually creeping up.....
Afternoon. If the Green’s within the coalition do recognise the proposals for Kallak as being ‘global’ green (International agreements), and want to support the concession being granted, then now, is the time to do so, with the EU elections coming later this month, and nothing to lose, at this time! Imo only. Thank you tintin35. atb
Thanks for the links Tintin. I still haven't managed to open any of them.
Thanks fro your reply Pocko. I had meant to ask Tintin the question. It has moved positively in Sweden.
The law hadn’t been the issue... it’s been the application of existing laws. Irrespective of tintin’ Post, it’s not set the market alight in Sweden...
Pocko
When I try to open these links each one states 'requested page not available on riksdagen.se' . Do you think this includes a motion to approve Kallak?
I take my hat off to you tintin , a very interesting post wherever that came from. It didnt say which year though ! Joking apart it would suggest that sustained criticism of swedish obfuscation is beginning to penetrate.
(thanks google translate)

On Thursday morning 9 May when everything is clapped and clear, it will be off.
open in chrome - it will auto translate. Basically Gov't decisions - not specifically on kallak but could make any licence a heck of a lot easier - and could support SP boost (which is all we care about)
not a bank holiday tomorrow for swedes - can't believe there is a day when they work and we don't......
