LOND Nice rise today Micky, no spare money of any sizeable amount, I am all in on speedy and have quite a big holding for me any how. Good luck, but I still have a lot of faith in speedy long term!!!
No i am not in but may have a look in the morning but have limited funds so if i do dip my toe in it will be small amount.but many thanks for the tip" but hope you do well :-)))
LOND up today you in 35p by next week and will rise quick ! Or still waiting for speedy results 🐔 don't miss the boat 🐢 going slow in this game doesn't work for me ,,,,
Good morning all speedy investers :-)))
We like that two penny's worth :)
All we need is a bit of good news to give this a good kick up the ass
Could not agree more, it's not rocket science. 70mill loss to 2il profit??? Bilingual trade goes down they go down? Building trade picks up they pick up!!! Providing they survive the rear recession, which they have. Simples!!!
I would like my two pennys worth if I may. I use to work in the city a while back and we use to try and keep prices down if we heard any rumours about possible coporate activity concerning any company. In fact we use to try and call the price lower in order to accumulate cheap stock and take advantage on the fear of investors and thus try and maximise our own profits. Speedy is a classic example. Let me explain further. If you look back only a few weeks ago any sale of the stock above say 10,000 shares resulted in a slight markdown in the price of the stock. Only a few days ago the volume was over 10 million shares and 93% of the volume composed of only three sales, 6.5M, 1.4M and a further 1.4M. And tthey were all executed at the current bid price of the stock at the time. The stock has settled nicely in the mid to higher 60s level after spending a whole leap of time just above the 50p level. The latest statement from the management shows that the company has risen from the abyss of the 70M loss a few years back and with the construction sector heading in the right direction, a low interest rate enviroment and long term contracts being awarded whats not to like ? I've held my breath for the last few days but I hope this will calm all my fellow shareholders.
Good morning all speedy investers :-))) Lets get to 70+ today?
As I say I know the industry well and I honestly think that they are making some bad decisions and deals at the moment that may well bite them on the backside....I could be wrong but think more skeletons are still to come out of the Corcoran closet. GLA I really hope it comes out well for you but it will be a few years yet IMO
Speedy hire was at the top off there game although spending millions on HSS and most companies up for sale at time. Loo companies containers generator companies etc. Only to find out that they had bought everyone's Rubish. Fire sales of plant taking 100 million of share holders. Lost direction and MrC got to greedy and this back fired with recession. Only then to start with international shambles. I wish them well but they should stick to grass roots not more greed and enterprise, better look after what contracts they have and grow steady. Maybe they can get back to top but will take time,, good luck ,,
These sites are for people points of view some positive and some negative although they are people points of view that's all !!! Prices will not increase or decease due to people points of view but always interesting to here peoples thoughts. So share huggers please don't bite it's only for information and to share people thoughts ......,,, It's not going to make no odds at all unless. Major investors pull out
We have just come through a bad recession, no wonder they are not at the top of there game. But they are turning things around, just look at the figures.
????. Just for the record I'm not de ramping this share I am offering an opinion based on my 20yrs plus in the hire industry. And IMHO Speedy at the moment are not at the top of thier game...a bit like tesco you could say.
IMO take a look at solo but dyor?
???
I am more waiting for the wise advice from the negative posters!!!
Others i hold are solo---bmr---her--not as much money wise as speedy?
Should say ROI on plant..
Fair play Micky, I will keep my eye on them and see how they fair against sdy. I am all in on sdy sold every thing else I had and piled it on. Still waiting for the others on here to come up with there share tip??? My tip is speedy of course!!!
I remember when Speedy started getting big when they were taking over the likes of Kenderick hire...as you say they should stick to hiring out small tool hire Eqpt as that is what they are good at and where they made the big bucks over the years...the ROI online is rubbish in comparison
Sorry if i have offended you but over the last few days new posters have arrived on here and are trying to deramp this share imo once again sorry:-)))
Facts that's all. Yes new member was on here for over ten years logged on and member shut down , although was three years ago. Anyway I don't have to explain myself to you .?. Your in deep good luck ask for a job on heavy plant. You can dig deeper. !!!!!!!

I have been investor for many years even when named Allen Plc which was then under John Brown . Until he left the board . Speedy made its money from buying "good small plant tools and hiring them out whist using them from there own building projects. The change in power after John retired really changed the direction and bought HSS depots and risked the future of Speedy. And it's share holders .Under MrC A plant. AHT was a very good buy at 2p share although been through big changes over years. Try LOND mining will have good profits out that 3/4 months. Speedy still fishing to recover but trying the heavy plant game crazy. Long term if they stick to what there good at and invest in tools were profit sits.SDY long term
