So, it looks like SOS plan has catastrophically failed? I don't think this is over. SOS has taken a massive hit, selling his shares at 0.06p, surely he isn't just going to lie down and go quietly? Rita has shown some major guts and really seems to have pulled this back from the brink - however, the WED plan needs to deliver some major benefits - as with Theresa May, she seriously needs to learn lessons from this debacle and IMO change her management style - particularly around comms to investors. We need a clear strategic direction with defined goals and a plan as to how and when we are to achieve them. This at least will give SH an idea of what to expect along the way and allow some sort of gauge as to Rita and Co's performance delivery against defined targets - pretty much everyone else in industry has to work against these sort of requirements - time I think for Rita to do the same. We now know she can deliver in a crisis - how about day to day?
I would imagine that Mr. English and discopabalo to name but two are breathing a huge sigh of relief this morning. :-)
Rita can you put your presentation on the new strategic relationship with Western Energy Development LLC. on the company web site and even a pod cast or video link so all of us who supported you can see your next move??
Thinks she may have a bit of Scotish in her with that great Win
I can see Robsky doing a Scottish Reel jumping over the crossed swords drinking from a bottle of 12 yr, old Malt.
Not a tweet out of NTOG I wonder what their shareholders will say now !? Perhaps a GM to remover the board may be in order.
Back to the Pointer Sisters ha ha :-) Bring it on Rita let's get SS Maggie under full sail.
How about 3 Little Birds ('Don't worry about a thing')!! Great news!
What are you playing this morning smidsy
Magnolia Petroleum Plc, the AIM quoted US focused oil and gas exploration and production company, announces that the requisition for the general meeting (the “General Meeting”) has been withdrawn by Mr Steven Snead, Snead Family 2012 LLC, Snead Family LLC and Mr R Sterling Snead (together the “Snead Group”).
Well done Rita, you showed them
Rita wins the battle without a shot being fired.
Withdrawal of Requisition for General Meeting GO RITA GO
Given the massive destruction of shareholder value in recent years why the support ? You must all have lost substantial sums of money yet you are still voting for a continuation of the status quo. Its all very odd.
Currently showing as 0.0p on Google finance, was worried there for a minute...
I like Rita taking the bull by the horns. "Derec Norman? Snead recruited him, I promoted him and yes I am his mother-in-law." It has also been noted that the BoD fielded a good number of votes at the AGM and I would like to think that bodes well for the GM on the 18th.
Rita does seem to have the bit between her teeth and is showing real intent to secure her position and move her agenda forward. Following the AGM vote firming up her appointees, I'm encouraged and hopeful for a similar vote in her favour next week, I'm certainly not complacent though. Along with the recently announced WED deal, signs are much more positive for MAGP's future, and I sense that Rita believes that the momentum is now with her. For me she appears to be re-invigorated, which bodes well both for MAGP and shareholders. GLA

Morning Robsky I think Rita is holding this result back until after the vote so she has another positive for the market. Also confirming her leadership qualities ;-O CLR 2nd Q results not out until 8th August so its wait and see time AGAIN ;-(.
Morning guys I thought for a moment we were getting a WED director appointment. Some well reports would be good Rita not fond of the 1.5% rule. I see DVN smashed another record in the STACK hmmm where are CLR wells ?
