I agree with you GD, a reward of 0.5p SP at end of Q3 is a nice thought, and it would be interesting to establish the level of support for Rita received from people like us in the “small investor” category but I’m not certain whether this info will be released. One slice of encouragement I take from the general tone of the presentation is Rita’s intention to step up the pace of development (fast track) in order to, at least, regain much of the ground lost due to the impact of falling price of oil. I’m probably being soft but to some extent I also see this as being indicative of Rita’s recognition of shareholder frustration, and that particularly felt by LTH’s. Surely, for her own part, she must share this with us all, and will naturally want to see a timely and successful culmination of the Maggie strategy…sooner, rather than later; I hope!
I wonder if the final vote numbers will be released so us the SMALL share holders can see how much support was given to Rita by us and how many supported NTOG? Rita should definitely know by now who saved her position in the company and that us the SMALL share holder needs respect and a just reward 0.5p SP by the end of the 3rd Quarter perhaps??? :-O.
That's what I make out, with a quarter of that being ours? The $7m figure?? Is that per annum or total?? She said the initial 500k has generated 200k for us, but didn't say if that was it or that was per year...
Check out the 'Extrapolating the pilot programme'. Am i reading this right that the plan is to have 962 operating Wells in the next couple of years.?
I have to say that I was hoping for much more from the presentation/meeting but, to be honest, got what I expected; basically as I see it, little more than a rehash of the RNS in a different format. I honestly believe that so much more could have been made of this release and I cannot see that this particular delivery will “make the earth move” for the market, I really do hope I’m wrong. Was this a taster and just for openers? In any event, to gain their attention and buy in, a cynical market will need to see something more substantial. Consistent, speedy and proven progress from this point forward must be demonstrated following performance with a raft of positive and cleverly worded news and RNS dispatches to meet an eagerly waiting audience, but crucially containing solid and credible supporting numbers, which is paramount. Don’t keep shareholders in the dark BOD, keep them and the market informed. I seem to recall a host of news releases coming from our BOD in the early days to which the Market responded enthusiastically by lifting the SP to dizzy heights around 5p, and Maggie was then in a weaker position than of late. I’m sure it’s not lost on Rita but our entire BOD, technically competent though they may be, should perhaps be more savvy and adept at understanding what, how and when to deliver the kind of information that excites and drives the market and maintains its interest. I’m very supportive of Rita and have confidence in the Maggie BOD. I do believe this initiative can really be the chance for Maggie to show what she can do; the leap we’ve been waiting for? Assuming WED plays its part, I’m sure Maggie has the capacity to take advantage of this new arrangement, which then offers our best chance to make a decent fist of things.
Hi Robsky yep must agree with you ;-( . I thought after what has gone on over the last month or so our Rita would have come out with all guns blazing to show her authority. Plus put a lot more meat on the bones with WED DEAL to give the market a kick up the bum to say Rita and the BOD are in control :-p. You never know we may have an RNS to explain more once Rita is back in the USA.
Afternoon GD just reading and digesting, thanks for posting the presentation for me not overly exciting and mostly regurgitated information but that maybe because we follow to close!y. Surprising there is still no mention of Sympson wells and I know that recent fracs by CLR are still concentrated in Blaine obviously for economics but still think an update would be appropriate nevertheless still a good outlook. IMHO
knock knock anyone out there or have you all hit the rum. http://magnoliapetroleum.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/07/Magp-July-17-Investor-Presentation-18.07.17-Final.pdf
I can only see 5 CLR well reports ! so how about the other 5 ? At leased we know the value is approx.$4.3 million so Mr MM the SP needs a re-rate . Diversified revenuestream: • Existing production from portfolio of interests in over 150 wells • Fees generated from capital management agreement with WED Assetbacked: • Total net PDP oil and condensate reserves of 282.686 Mbbl and gas reserves of 2,343.116 MMCF valued at US$4.3 million

I'm sure we all wait with bated breath on announcements today. I'm guardedly optimistic, but whatever the direction, I will be expecting greater clarity, detail and more frequent communication from our BOD here-on, not only to keep shareholders informed of developments etc. but to catch and maintain the eye and interest of the market more generally.
Well by the end of today we should have the new cunning plan to take us forward with WED and our other partners :-D Hopefully with an RNS or with the presentation on the company WEB page.

Well Boys and Girls MAGP ONE has Landed at Heathrow Airport :-O Rita and the BOD are being escorted to Buck Palace where they will be entertained by the Queen. Monday 17 July will be a sightseeing tour around London Town. Rita will also visit The Tower of London for the Beefeater Tour Read more at http://www.visitlondon.com/things-to-do/sightseeing/sightseeing-tours/top-london-tours#EQIMM66QXvfJUdVf.99 This is where all the pirate blaggards of the mutiny are to be sent. Tuesday 18 July Rita will present the NEW WAY FORWARD with our partners and share holders Western Energy Development LLC (‘WED’) :-D Wednesday 19 July the market has studied Rita's / BOD proposals and decided that the plan is very plausible and the SP heads towards 1p at last.
Mr Snead & Co got £65k in cash and 2,400,000 NTOG shares at an implied price of 2.5p a share. Today's NTOG Bid is @ 1.45p and if we generously assume they bail at this they might sell out at £34.8k giving them £99.8k for the 204,226,748 MAGP shares [0.049 pence per share] By way of salt in the wounds, about 25% down on today's MAGP Bid. In short, what on earth were they thinking when they kicked this shambles off?
I'm celebrating, just enjoying the moment, and why not....however, the prospect of consolidation is a concern that's been in the back of my mind for some time. Like many, I've been working to lower my average but not hard enough, and like you lindi, I would be looking at 20p to break even. Hey, ho...
Following on from this mornings reassuring RNS which follows some unpleasant mud slinging I presume that NTOG will be dumping their shares on the market which will further depress the SP. Or if they do not, can we imply that they also like the WED deal and see a more rosy future? I am envious their 0.06p average that's for sure.
Canapés and margaritas in the bar in celebration of the power of the shareholders! Not sure about consolidation, I'd need 20p to break even lol.....
About 2 minutes after a 10:1 Consolidation! (Must surely come soon with all the shares now in issue)
" Boatswain's Call " All crew to muster points for inspection ! Rita has just boarded the MAGP plain and is on route to London Town :-D Poop deck to be made ready for Rita's victory party The only problem is how long will it be before we can have a 1p party ????
Job done. Now is the time to RFW to return the favour and bring back value to us "valued shareholders". Prove those doubters wrong. Good to see the markets took another liking to another positive RNS... It will be interesting to see what Snead does next after that dramatic failure.
Mr E, Quiet satisfaction in crushing the Snead/NTOG raid but I agree it is all about where do we go from here. I would think RFW is surprised at just how active PI's proved to be in her support and she would do well not to take that for granted.
Great news, but to be honest it was all over a week ago. Can we now get on with the business of realising share holder value, I'd like to out of here within the next 10 years.
