After a completely unnecessary period of cynical scaremongering by the market IMO.
I didn’t realise two of our directors hold over 9% of Block Energy between them.
Definitely something in the pipeline Imo.
Both sitting at exactly the same Market cap as well John and both with significant gas assets valued significantly above those market caps.
Dummy trades Ask 0.9375 Sell 0.870 So 0.80 Bid looks a bit overdone to me !
I notice the charts are eerily similar today - not sure why, they aren't reflecting movement in oil or gas prices as far as I can see so not sure why they are moving down in step unless someone somewhere knows something ?
BLOE bb talking again about some merger/buyout of solo
Very soon I hope Crusty, hardly seems beneficial for anyone to delay the change of Operator to the Zubairs.
Well I hope not CP, not unless that is the Zubairs themselves, as another JV partner would require a protracted negotiation process with AEX (soon to be APT hopefully), TPDC and Tanz Govt.... :0(
A cornerstone investor like the Zubairs could be another option. They bought into almost 30% of Aminex prior to the NT-2 drill and thus funding it before then making the farm in offer of $40 million for 50% post drill results.
Could the same happen here for the C-1 drill?
that what i`m hoping for is 12.5% Farmdown as it give us a presents in the Drill but also we still have our stake in H1 & KN1 which doesn`t say alot of course but it what this so called board can bring to the table what counts, yes they were perfectly right to walk away from the one Dyas deal but as I was saying about the Angus gas deal Chris two or three of those would do nicely at 3.5 million a year, it probably all we are going to get but we do have the spare cash to get a small deal like that going, at 6 million MC we are worth more so it upto the board to get this share going and compared to AEX 33 Million MC we got a way to catch up 12-15 Million is fair value in my eyes GLA !!!
it's all the legislation allows for, a 1 year extension at a time.
Licence for a year we sure that wasn't for the TV in the workers ports cabin??
"The Government has allocated Shillings 5.2 billion to compensate citizens to pave way for a large LNG Gas processing project in the Likong'o region of Lindi region. This is good news for the Oil & Gas sector in Tanzania. "

Yes, a slow trickle of buys here on the back of the news. Hopefully our number should drop shortly on the AIM roulette table .
All looking very positive at long last it seems the deal is very nearly done.

Sums this up totally, probably another two years at this.
The next RNS should be the completion of the farmout for Aminex and the handing over of the JV operator status to the Zubair corp, would be good to have the $6.7 million owed for gas settled as well, I am sure solo would appreciate the additional cash. Don't see how the KN-1 work can be approved without settlement.
nice find Chris, can`t you subscribe to the website and post the article ;o)
500k transactions at 0.95 were actually sells or buys ?
Watching the spread change and wondering if the midpoint is where the spread says it is.
Great ,only 60% down compared to the 28th Feb !!Fact as of now !!!
Aminex lands Tanzania contract extension
Slow-moving Ntorya gas project takes one step forward to farm-out deal being wrapped up and Solo's stake sale being concluded

THaks Frank.
Solo Oil
Solo has received confirmation that the Mtwara exploration licence within the Ruvuma PSA and that contains the Ntorya gas field has been formally extended. Solo has demonstrated patience but no loss of enthusiasm to get this high quality onshore gas project moving forward and comment that the Tanzanian Government are showing that they want this to be a critical project in-country and that this JV is the first to receive approval.
As soon as ARA have been approved as operator by the Government they will bring to the partnership substantial operating capability and in country experience to move the project forward. As Solo has launched a formal process to ‘explore value realisation options for its assets in Tanzania’ this must be an important move and according to the company it has seen ‘an encouraging level of interest in its Tanzanian assets and a number of interested parties have requested access to the data room.
Should this be successful for Solo it will provide a significant value unlock-er and potential farm-inees will know that this key asset is very much under way. It is worth looking at Wentworth who are non-operators, enjoying the currency of the gas and being paid for it by the TPDC.
