sailing stone just getting their last dregs out ..I'm confident this will be back into the 40p+ region within sessions ..we'll see ..the results speak for themselves -- cash flow is great - debt is min ..and oil is at high price ..all good
Well I’m amazed that this hasn’t re rated. I continue to hold and haven’t sold a bean as I feel that the amount of money this is going to earn over the next 12-36 months is going to be incredible and the shares will re rerate. One for the portfolio I think.
looks like they will be targeting around 35,000 BOPD in 2020 from current assets (one of the slides in the deck) ...oil is at a good place and I'm expecting it to go higher - cash flow after production is very good currently - continue to build a position - hopefully this is a good base now to build up from - I feel once this seller(s) clear then will see a rerate back up ..lets see ..
Yes the numbers look highly impressive ! I just wish they totally impaired Fortuna so we can have a clean slate ! Happy to be topping up around these figures
Yep, Alan Booth tripled his holding to 378k, and I hope Vivien has manage the all time low bottom fishing price of 36.71.
Onward and upward ..... I guess !!
“Who would sell at these levels - only Sailing Stone.. Seems to be a back story there. ” Not quite! There’s actually 2 sellers in the market! Another institutional investor has also been offloading, good riddance I say
Nature of the beast
Think guy knows his stuff , more than most.
Hope so any way .
Wow frank you changed your tune
Maybe a merger next.
Show of confidence
lots of FCF ongoing can’t ignore that ..sailingstone will be out soon if not already after volume this week - will keep buying at these levels
Thanks for reply
We need your logic on this share to get it flying
Am down from original buy in
But now have high hopes
Your knowledge is appreciated
I think it wanted to print a double bottom on the chart - which it did - now blue
Where is LC when you need him lol
about to go blue me thinks - oil moving up as well - oil $80+ - this bad boy going to be throwing off serious cash
this is double bottom at 36.3p odd - onwards and upwards now
Looking like a good buy long term investment
Am in
to be perplexed by this share. Dropped on positive results, when its already at all time lows.
the need for cost cutting?

The seller should only have about 1% left now judging from the volumes over the last month. That will be gobbled up today by institutional investors now they have a clear strategy for future growth along with those huge production and cash flow numbers, can see this heading back to at least 60p very quickly afyer those rns’s both excellent
Very strong results and SP at all time lows due to the seller (had 2.7% left one month ago)...Fortuna asset written off however new acquisition brings huge cashflow and doubles production to 27,000boepd...
I think we can surely say 38p was the floor here.
looks like 27.500 BOEPD this year vs. 25,000 ….all in all happy with that set of results - going to be throwing off huge amount of cash
Big rise on the cards here today after those rns’s Ophir, as announced today in half year results for the six months ended 30 June 2018, has an operating asset base capable of delivering free cash flow of $300 million over the next three years, a strong operating capability and potentially valuable gas assets in Equatorial Guinea and Tanzania.
Agree it’s ridiculously undervalued and will correct back towards 60p over the next few weeks imo, once the seller is clear it will motor and they had less than 3% a month ago so they must be running on fumes now, when it pops it will do 20% plus very quickly imo
