Hopefully rips through 5p as we've waited a decade for this.....
Thanks A, pity not on the headline one though.
This licence milestone for company.Linked with gas and oil wells. Also gas supply. My target on official update is 5p.We waited several year for this huge development.
Only £55k up Crusty?
I would expect with your millions of shares that you'd be up more than that.
Still another day tomorrow...

The first English news confirms the translation "Tanzania Petroleum Development Corporation (TPDC) and its partners have secured a license to conduct natural gas exploration at the onshore Ntorya gas field in Mtwara region." https://www.ippmedia.com/the-guardian/news/local-news/read/western-regions-to-be-linked-into-national-grid-next-fy-says-biteko-2024-04-17-101538
Wonderful though isn't it for months, if not years , we see no action ands no new posters here and all of a sudden, the price ticks up and they all appear out of the woodwork! Aminex afficionados, providing all and sundry their opinions and expectations gleaned from their extensive experience and knowledge of the company, when most have been here for all of 5 minutes. Rainbow chasers and chancers!! Laughable.
5p on official confirmation of the Dev license and similar tosh. Thankfully most here have been around for too long to be taken in by the BS - I only hope that some of the newcomers don't get taken in by the hyperbole and embellishment.
I note that having kept a low profile by the experience of the last two years haggismctripe is back and in full voice - We can only hope that his current predictions are a little more accurate and believable than they have been proven to be in the past.
Anyway upwards and onwards, it has been a great day (I am about £55k better off than yesterday! :) let's just hope that this is a sign of things to come and not yet another false dawn; confirmation of that Dev license would be good - and the sooner the better.
22.1 MMbbls
Let's not forget, this is extremely valuable stuff too and as far as we know can still be sold at well head.
Not as hopeless as Tanz though...
Yes, we've got him sussed. He's been spinning his ramping nonsense ever since he was Sueyou on Advfn.
He's a hopeless case.
In short Tanz - total b0ll0cks
Come clean to these guys Haggis!,,,,,we are watching you! 😂😂😂
From Aminex twitter today
"#Tanzania's largest #onshore #gas development has just gotten bigger! The latest 3D #seismic #data for our #Ntorya gas discovery has significantly increased the most likely gas initially in place estimate to 3.45 Tcf, revealing a potential within our licence of 16. 4 Tcf. "@AP

How much is a 1 trillion cubic feet of natural gas worth?
Answer
Rick O’Malley
42 years of oil & gas operations & management5y
"It depends on a number of factors, including quality, location, contract delivery terms, etc.
In the U.S., the value at the wellhead is about $3.00 per million BTU, which for 1,000 BTU gas is the same as $3.00 per thousand cubic feet.
One trillion cubic feet would therefore be worth $3 billion at the wellhead (i.e., to the producer), which is kind of nonsensical because it will take a while to deliver that quantity.
If you’re contracting for delivery of LNG by tanker, you’re probably going to pay a higher price, probably one based on the energy content on a barrel of oil equivalent basis.
That would be a price closer to $9.00/mcf. The value of a 1 TCF contract delivered over a several year term would be $9 billion to the purchaser.
The cost of processing, transporting, and liquefying the gas is considerable."
Crusty - there are other posters on here who definitely did not want to hear this news, Prosciutto for one who predicts Ara, and the Sultan could stitch us up and will steal the big time away from by making AEX penniless. What say you that end story ?
Bg, nice, I'd open another bottle, the expensive stuff :-)
Don't panic if you don't see an RNS at 7am.
The Licence approval in Parliament has to go through the Tanzania Government process of BEING ISSUED, to the operator, ARA Petroleum Tanzania, upon which the operator can then advise Aminex that IT HAS RECEIVED THE LICENSE.
Aminex cannot RNS anything until it has been advised by the operator that the License is in in their possession.
We know Tanzania Government processes are slow, so this could take more than a day or two, but the significant posts by Aminex on it's Twitter account indicate they KNOW that it's on it's way, but as I say, they cannon STATE IT AS FACT until it becomes A FACT when ARA take possession of the Licence paperwork.
We are also shown at the top of the ADVFN leader board of highest risers on it's front page at https://uk.advfn.com/
There are two ways of viewing the leader board - you are right, we aren't on the headline one under the share prices menu - not sure WHY not, we should be. BUT we are on the full one if you click on the blue RISERS
Mops, Chilling at the moment with a glass of wine
I fear Blackgold finally realised that he can't serve both God and mammon and sold up last week.
And a late one around 5pm. Sets up for a nice day tomorrow.
Looking forward to the RNS tomorrow morning. It better not contain anything pessimistic to hold the lid on. I would like to see it blown clean off. We are talking about billions worth of gas here.
No 1 - It is there try refreshing your page...and your scotch..
Answer - not a mention. Have I missed something here? With a 48.66% rise we should be shown as the best share of the day, (above MET1 at a mere 38.1%). But there's nothing for poor little AEX as far as I can see. Having waited at least a decade for this moment, I would have liked the pleasure of sitting with a large scotch and gazing at the LSE top risers board, probably for at least two hours. Thanks LSE for denying me this long awaited indulgence!
