another website stating the same news, so must be true! http://metalukraine.com/2017/02/06/uzbekistan-navoi-iron-and-steel-works-resumes-gold-mining.html This should be passed to the Administrators and Oxs ex-bod. If you are connected to them, please share.

NMMC again produces gold deposit Amantaitau http://kommersant.uz/news/ngmk-zoloto-amantajtau
heard all that before but the company is fighting on,even though most didn't think that would happen..... Justice for Oxus and us shareholders...
We shall see... have a couple of years to mull it over, assuming Mr T has not activated the executive powers to start WW3, in which case it won't matter a jot? :)
More chance of Trump coming out as gay and marrying an Iranian transvestite, having African children and naming one of them as Obama. As they say from my generation - fat chance matey. Yes I own shares. They were all a bunch of crooks - get used to it.
Very interesting development - extension until 2019. One wonders why indeed... may the time pass swiftly! :) GLA.
all is not lost. 2018 isn't that far away really. hope Said Ashurov gets his freedom and life back soon. Thanks for posting Bill.
Yes, 12 Years is a long time,.... the conviction is described as a fabrication in this 11 Aug 2011 article ;- http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/asia/uzbekistan/8695231/Uzbekistan-jails-former-metallurgist-at-British-mining-company-for-spying.html This is from start of article: A lawyer acting for Oxus Gold, the London-based mining company, described Said Ashurov's conviction as a fabrication and said that the Uzbek government was using him as a pawn in their battle to take control of a lucrative gold field in the Central Asian country. "It's part of a general smear campaign," Robert Amsterdam, the Oxus Gold lawyer, told the Daily Telegraph before the verdict in a telephone interview. "A witness has come to us and said that he'd been threatened if he didn't give a false testimony, which is fairly standard in Uzbekistan." The Uzbek Foreign Ministry was not available for comment. BW
Excellent find. Thanks for the update
Good find. Who knows. Thank you

Administration Progress Report – 8 December 2016. Two year extension of administration being applied for; https://www.bdo.co.uk/getattachment/Insights/Advisory/Business-Restructuring/Oxus-Gold-Plc-%E2%80%93-In-Administration/Administration_Progress_Report_-_8_December_2016.pdf.aspx?lang=en-GB BW
Having first bought OXUS shares in the early months of 2009,.....experiencing as a shareholder what OXUS was put through,.... my view is, this arbitration outcome does not serve Justice,..... I hope an appeal will. https://www.bdo.co.uk/en-gb/oxus-gold-plc BW
Will be end of February as the administrators have to update us every 6 months minimum .I am still hopeful that the shareholders will recover something and unicitral will be shown to be the disgrace that it is in my opinion. They know the procedures where wrong and they should sort this out so that they do not become a laughing stock.
Hey Pettycash, glad to see you on here again! Been a while... I was on here too pretty incessantly for what seemed like forever. Still have the OXS shares on my trading account, they never go! Stare at me every day. Still maybe some hope, but as the anniversary of the "fit-up" approaches, nothing much has progressed. Will be a while yet I guess?
apologies...I haven't looked in here for months and months - after spending every minute here for 3 years..! Used to be a great board this one - good and bad. didn't know how old/new all this was about the appeal
appeal to the french has been on BDO website for nearly three months..
Where are you reading this info from?
No, sorry mate - I haven't been looking at for ages, but just been reading Nobull et als comment on advfn etc, seems there is a glimmer of hope, albeit a slight one..which would take ages through the French Courts.
