If I were a potential customer Imo it may have some bearing on whether I would wish to conduct business with them. As long as the product is good quality and customer service is good then should not materially affect customer numbers. All imo.
Looking at the cultural limestone presentation on the Leed website and comparing the current names Jm seems to be the missing one. Let's hope it's all sorted. Probabably covered by their insurance so hopefully no financial loss. Just customer relations may be affected. News soon on rto.
Since they have a list on their website of key employees I'm guessing one will vanish if not vanished already from the list...without wishing to cast dispersions on the good guys, there are some that look in a better positions than others to raid the piggy bank. Just depends whether it was back handers with buyers or direct off-take from the coffers. Either way, let's hope this demonstrates good due diligence and the rooting out of any rotten wood prior to us assuming a more responsible role in operating the company. RD.
Its not so much the guy who had his hand in the till that is the problem...its the seemingly problems with cash flow in the company that is more of a problem ....doesn't bode well at all
If the company continued to make a profit while some thieving scum had his hand in the pot then imagine how good the company is actually doing! Just wait for the figures and make your mind up. I don't think that it would take much digging to find a name for the thief
Anyone happen to know the name of the management that frauded the company! ******** lost me £100 so far so will happily go find him so he can give me it back!
im hoping it ticks up just enough derisk and keep whats left in the bottom draw. roll on 0.5p
The little one is doing great....still exercising her lungs ...lol Yes, quite alarming reading in as much High Mannor already seem to have financial difficulties and Leed have handed over a bunch of cash which will undoubtedly disappear into the ether....I feel if Leed take over then they could be taking over a business beset with financial difficulties....hopefully Leed have a trick up their sleeve before they decide on any take over...time will tell
Hope all is well with you and the not quite so little one. When I saw the rns I thought great then I read on and was alarmed by what I read. A long serving trusted member of staff probably loading up the goods and selling on the cheap. I for one hope that the damage done financially can be rectified. It is the public relations side that also worry me. Leeds have given them almost all of their remaining cash so I think the takeover will happen. They could have just walked away lost the investment but they haven't. As I mentioned before fraud through theft is usually covered by insurance. Hope for better news soon.
Seems High Mannor struggle with their cash flow...and he guy with is hand in the till has made it even worse..what a joke...doesn't bode well for the company or us shareholders....who were these alternative sources of funding between production and payment I ask....have they been paid back i wonder....and now they have gone cap in hand to Leed for more money....seems to me if Leed take over this company they may struggle to bring it into profit
Thank the Lord they have found this out before the RTO! Was really excited to see the RNS this morning then I wanted this guys balls on a platter.... Let's hope that this will help build a brighter future for LDP
No matter what people think of LDP, i think you can say that they are now are more open then before. Nice to be kept in the loop of all activities. Lets hope for the next good bit of news, small steps !!
On a positive note - duel diligence is working, bod are transparent, best discovering now than after rto, previous months profits margin impacted negatively - hence positive impact going forward to profit margin and does this position LDP for a better deal?
Thought I was good news when rns came up. Any losses hopefully covered by insurance.
There always bl**dy somebody messing up the account, it a good job it reported to the police.
Much better to find these things out now than after takeover IMO
21 March 2016 LEED RESOURCES PLC ("Leed" or "the Company") Investment in High Mannor Leed Resources plc, (AIM: LDP), the natural resource investing company, announces that it has remitted A$250,000 to support the working capital of High Mannor ("HM"), a company controlled by Battalion International Limited ("Battalion"). Leed announced on 15 February 2016 that it had entered into a non-binding heads of terms agreement, which included an option to acquire up to 100% of Battalion. The loan will be secured against trade receivables and stock held at the quarrying and processing site of HM. HM has previously relied on alternative sources of working capital finance to fund the gap between production and payment for the blocks and panels. These sources of financing have now expired and accordingly, Leed along with two other Battalion loan note holders, have agreed to provide this short term working capital facility, which will accrue interest at a rate of 12% per annum. During the course of our ongoing due diligence on HM, it has recently been discovered that one senior member of HM staff has been carrying out fraudulent activities which appear to have significantly affected the profitability of HM's business over the past few months. The management of HM are seeking to quantify the quantum of the loss to the business and the individual concerned has now been dismissed and the facts reported to the police in Perth. Leed is in active discussions with the remaining HM management to ensure stronger controls moving forward and to assess the impact of these events on the current business of HM. Leed is continuing with due diligence in connection with the potential acquisition of Battalion and HM. Further updates will be made as necessary. LDP RNS -well that's another fine mess you got me into :-((
he is here , just a different name , in my opinion
Lithium
yes....both are high risk...lol
Are there any ties between ldp and pires
Half yearly report should be out soon - by end of March.
I did very very well out of LDP back in the booming days when it made sense to buy and sell on an almost daily basis. Some days you'd be quids in others you'd be kicking yourself. Luckily I don't have alot of my own money in here just the rewards of some good investments. This share has some fantastic potential to grow and grow.. Good luck all invested
I would certainly be worried if I had some £15,000 or £20,000 in here like some have...yes, believeiit or not there are some gullible enough to have thrown that kind of money into a high risk tiddler like this one.... I seem to remember you did very well out of ldp in the hey days here....I did too as well as many others, but then was different...this one is a different animal completely now...fingers crossed this will come out of suspension to everyone's benefit....but I wont hold my breath on that one...lol Good luck
