Check this out. What appears to be a brand new village north if existing sites but right in the middle of the 3D lines. Could this be the New CH1? Maybe nothing but I dont remember seeing this on a previous area search. The scale of the 3d area is enormous found g right up to the level of Mikindani bay. No wonder its taking time to process all that data. They've certainly gone for it!

Your images from 2022 . Of course they have nothing on them . Google is 2023 and much better image.
Get the App called SkyFi 'the on demand satellite photo App'. You can zoom in and it's incredibly detailed and clear images. It's way better than Google or Sentinel. You can even order images from when the Satellite next passes the well pads.
Google is out of date. It's only just caught up with the satellite images from last year. Up to date images can be seen on Sentinel Playground.
Here are some lines from end of April 2022. You can compare the sites with how they look today. I keep doing this but nothing has changed, the stuff that's stacked has been there for years.

As I pointed out last week you can see where the 3d mapping has taken place around Ntorya 1. If you zoom in to the well pad you will see a lot of pipes stacked. Maybe some of the work has already started.
That being based on the pipeline being completed in October. We will have to see if TPDC are sticking to that timeline when they announce the start of the pipeline installation.
'MADIMBA Gas Processing Plant is projected to start processing additional 60 million cubic feet per day (mcfpd) of natural gas from the Ntorya gas field in Mtwara coming next December.'
I would not put it past them to start in October at 17mmscfd (or more) from NT-2.
NT-2 was (as far as we know) tested by APT around March.
NT-1 will not be ready for production until after CH-1 has been drill and itself then had a workover.
'A well-workover of the Ntorya-1 well ("NT-1"), to enable rapid tie-in to the gas production facilities and bring the well into early production requires the use of a drilling rig and will run after the drilling of CH-1, which we expect later this year.'
NT-2 can be connected and into production as soon as the pipeline is completed. This may be before CH-1 and NT-1 are ready. I see no reason to wait for CH-1 and NT-1 before producing gas from NT-2.
My guess would be that the steel piping is available off the shelf from China. I had a look on Alibaba dot com and there are loads of sellers.
Will Tanzania bring in the same Chinese pipe layers that installed the Madimba to Dar es Salaam pipe very quickly?. I think so.
Wouldn’t it be good to know…
From the likes of Rojo and Aimster even Proscuitto that as Shareholders they do believe it could just be possible that Ara et al, really do mean to turn the Ruvuma plan into reality at last. Then stop running our investment down. That those such as Bullfrog, Haggis, Stock Cheque, Smudger for ever the optimists, have done their research and will confirm for us all that the necessary contracts for the steel pipework have in fact been issued, and that the pipes are actually now being made somewhere to meet the dates necessary for October Production ! Wouldn't it be good to know !
Northern
The upcoming AGM will in my mind be preceded by or joined with an operations update confirming pipeline construction imminent, NT-1+2 status, CH-1 drill this year and if it will use the same pad, etc.
Many of us wrote to AEX to ask where the AGM announcement was. I did get a reply a few days later but it says the information is for the intended recipient only hence I cannot post it verbatim here. As I got a reply I take it anyone else that emailed the question got the same reply and they are also not posting the info for the same reason. Basically AEX are complying with the Irish listing rules (15 months) and an AGM notice will be out real soon.
As no RNS this week, I am hoping for Monday for an operations update combined with AGM notice but if it's a week or two later I won't be concerned. The pipeline commencement could appear any day now too, all it takes is for the energy minister to put a shovel into the ground for a photo opportunity. I would see this as worthy of it's own RNS. AEX can pre-empt that by announcing in an operations update that the pipeline budget is signed off and work is about to start. No RNS then needed when it starts.
I'll take December.

Who'd of thought it would be Tanzania going full steam ahead with getting the gas out and us having to wait around for ARA to get moving. They have some catching up to do.
I do remember buying this around 7p around 2010.. i lost a few quid then when I sold my position.
Made a decent profit buying back for the NT-2 drill though. We all know how long that took to get that done as well as sign off for the KN-1 GSA.
However the noises being made in TZ now appear to be very positive about finally getting Ntorya gas to market. The government agencies (TPDC, PURA etc) are making the right noises that should result in good uplift in share price for us.
The games of cat and mouse between ARA and the TZ gov should be all but done now, lets see how the next 6 months goes.
I prefer to add over a period of time leading up to significant news. That way I don't miss out good news but add when there is a bump in the road (eg placing). Most important Is not to add on spikes or chase a fast moving sp.
Provided the end game does not change I wont sell my position until sp targets are reached then I will start to de risk.
I am happy to pick this up in two weeks time? Sure, but it was not the point I was trying to make.
You're sounding like haggis stopcheque...
So how have you made your great wealth RoJo, being so coutous and playing safe I guess. Me I look for special situations where a company can potentially 10 bag : ) like our good friend Aminex will, Afren was one that did and we picked that one just right, another to was Premier Oil.
I'd put money on the deceivers continually buying the stock while trash talking it to try and keep the price down. Institutional fund admins do it all the time. So do those buying in batches every month or three while they save their spare cash into amounts where the dealing costs cause minimal impact on the deals.
You may think from what they say that they don't hold, but when they disappear on first gas later this year, or claim to magically have turned bullish, it's just that they have their stock accumulated and aren't going to buy any more when the price is then rapidly rising.
That's true BF, and if the SP jumps significantly in the next couple of weeks, my approach will be seen as over-cautious.
Shall we pick this up in two week's time ?
I do understand the need to 'speculate'. I speculated 15 years ago buying this. Wish I hadn't.
You have to speculate on these things sometimes. News could drop next week that takes the sp significantly higher. By then it could be too late for those on the side-lines.
I get the feeling someone's been pulling our legs when he says he hold AEX shares !
No, I'm in no hurry.
I don't think the fact that someone thinks it will double in 12 months is a reason to jump in now.
I'm going to wait for the Market to start showing an interest, and a steady rise in the SP before I think of investing more here.
Im in no hurry .. you seem to be though RoJo
Doesn't seem to be any great hurry then BF ?
