AIM as part of the year end 2022 accounts ( issued over 18 months ago). Mr Bell said if DRC and Elephant were not forthcoming he and Directors had agreed a number of options including a salary cut. For the 2023 accounts he dropped that commitment.
A cynic might suggest DRC and Elephant were further away in Dec 23 than Dec 22 when both reports were written.
Soon after the Dec 22 accounts in Jan 23 first equity issued there infamous "buy reccomendation 2.8p target.
Help was all over it encouraging people to buy but the naysayers were saying really !! This is RRR too many share issues too much failure. The then price in Jan 23 was about 0.8p. We all know where it is now. Fifteen fold drop.
Even if there is one investor who reads my and others posts and thought twice Jan 23 to date we have done a good thing.
Anyone listening to Help has lost a lot of money.
Thanks Maidit308. Yes, I think Nike1980 has shown expertise in areas he is knowledgeable. I will answer AIM Dog's comment. But first, I will come back to the Accountant who contacted HELPFUL to ask for his help. EVERYONE CAN SEE THAT RRR HAS BREAK-UP POTENTIAL. BUT THAT POTENTIAL IS NOT VERY CLEAR ie no one on this forum has the M & A KEYS for breakup. They dont have enough INFO ie not just research but what is HAPPENING on the ground in Africa. I said restructuring which is a more subtle word than BREAKUP ie M & A.
Coming back to the DRC-AIM Dogs only thinks it is a goner kinda of thing. That is why I asked Helpful two questions and Helpful was very skilled at the answer. Since Boring Boy said Helpful won a debating society prize sort of thing at Uni, I was well aware that the 1st answer was not enough. So, I asked the 2nd question and I got the answer I wanted to be able to ASSESS the DRC situation and the chance of success. AIM Dog now quotes the 1st part of what Helpful answered but AIM Dogs has NOT twigged to the more complex question of the potential $430m international arbitration to follow.
I wont go into a long discourse as it will take too much space and time. BUT MY VIEW, IS THAT BIG MONEY AND BIG PLAYERS ARE INVOLVED inc the major. SO, TYPICAL LITIGATION PLAY IS AT WORK, be it a probate litigation fight or otherwise, same legal tactics.
So, IF that is not forthcoming in the next x or y days, weeks, then PLAN B has to come to play and A.Bell, Chairman has stated this in his last RNS @1/2 year accounts of RRR. M & A will have to take place and Chairman Bell is well aware of this. He may have to get in specialist help so Bilbale is a good stop gap to get cash flow going IF possible.
So, in meaningful discussion from ALL shareholders , we, holders have come to a better understanding. Each one will have to RATE their own views. A former President 's book on "The Art of the Deal" pointed out: NOT KNOWING JUST 1 VARIABLE COULD CHANGE THINGS. Like how? KILMORE @RRR Australia for example. Yes, the pre-IPO $500,000 cant do any meaningful drilling at Kilmore. But, TRENCHING IS CHEAP. Like how MAKO's CEO showed taht TRENCHES are like in the Var. An excavator can dig up a trend in 2 sec or a few days. TRENCHING WILL GIVE AWAY THE MINERALISATION ie what is the real situation of the mineralisation and what grade. IF KILMORE TURNS OUT, THEN THE PRIZE IS GREAT and one can see that at Sunday Creek, the next door. It is in the RIGHT PLACE, RIGHT HOT LOCATION AND LOTS OF EAGER INSTITUTIONS wanting in or are already in. But, But...well.
DRC is a much more complex legal play and where big money is involved, it is par for the course. Thats to all.
Sorry, that I cant eat out of the hands of the Boring Boy as he wants everyone to listen to him. No one listens to historical or calling out. THAT IS NOT THE SOLUTION GOING FORWARD. Yes, accountants can see breakup value.
But how real is it at this time? Ah, more digging to do ie mor
News, re the accountant who contacted me; I know who he was. He gave me enough information to track him down. I asked AB about him but had no idea who he was. He called me three times. I have notes. He knew about Migori and the name of the individual deposits/prospects within the licences. He seemed to indicate he had been involved with RRR in the past.
Anyway, who cares? I think he just wanted to be paid and, ooh yes, be a director.

Thank you for taking time out to reply to my question. I too have to come to terms with what has happened on this forum.
I have NEVER seen anything like it in the years I have been on this site. I recall one chap on Solgold. Same like on here with ze leader sort of thing. Today, his tales have now been PROVEN WRONG. Why? Solgold is still around and with a market cap into the HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS. It started out at £8m mkt cap. So, time proves many things.
RRR
Time will also tell. NO, UNFORTUNATELY, CALLING OUT RRR has also come to 0. Why? From RRR AGM, 16 Feb 2024, RRR is still here ie IT IS STILL LISTED with ASSETS to its name. However, RRR MUST be able to continue so that its assets can still continue on the Balance Sheet. SAME WITH ANY CO now.
HELPFUL: Your post explaining was very insightful - you were contacted by an ACCOUNTANT who wanted to take over RRR.===========ACCOUNTANT===========AH. That can be proven in real life. How? If one doesnt know the accountant in question , then one can go to the ACCOUTING BODY AND SEARCH ONLINE for registered accountants as it is with solicitors on open public file. I laughed when you , Helpful said to the chap, HOW MANY SHARES DO YOU HAVE?
Yeah, to CALL AN EGM, one needs shares and a lot is needed. That is company law 101. I wonder if ze leaders here know about how it must go through voting, NOT ON A FORUM to elect a new CEO kinda of thing.
DISSATISFACTION:
Fine, but one must be able to do BETTER. WHY DO THEY NEED HELPFUL ie the Accountant? It is obvious the Accountant does NOT KNOW ENOUGH ABOUT RRR to BREAK IT UP or the PROJECTS IN DETAIL. =============NO, NONE OF THE POSTERS ON THIS FORUM KNOW ENOUGH ABOUT RRR'S PROJECTS. THEY THINK THEY DO, BUT IN REAL LIFE THEY DONT KNOW ENOUGH. Do I have proof? Yes, IF POSTERS LIKE BORING BOY KNOW ENOUGH OF RRR'S PROJECT METRICS, THEY WILL BE ABLE TO ASSESS the asset and its value. Like how? NO ONE WILL BUY ANY PROJECT WITHOUT INDEPTH BREAK-UP M & A REPORTS. Helpful knows more and he has shown it via KILMORE even ie there is potentially lithium and REE but whether it is economic or not, he does not know. This is of no import at the momo as they are not hot commodities. TIN IS NO 1, in top pricing and that is when TIN HILL comes in. Why? With lithium , there comes tin or rather FORMER TIN MINES CAN HAVE LITHIUM.
RRR 'S ASSETS ARE MORE COMPLEX than at 1st sight. WHY? ONE DOES NOT KNOW THE CURRENT M & A given majors are moving to CANADA. So, this change of situ needs further insight and MORE CONNECTIONS to find out the CURRENT STATUS OF RRR'S ASSETS.
SO, BORING BOY, IS UNABLE TO PROVIDE ANY OF THIS BUT HE SAID YESTERDAY HE WAS DOING THE M & A OF THE £900M CO-OP SALE TO COVERNTRY BUILDING SOCIETY? HOW? HOW DO WE LISTEN WHEN HE CANT GIVE A GOOD ACCOUNT OF REAL TIME M & A IN AFRICA FOR RRR ASSETS OR EVEN VICTORIA , AUSTRALIA? Everyone is well aware of this and why? Boring Boy does not have ANY RRR SHARES or ENOUGH to get a CO
On 14th January 2022 the Commercial Court of Lubumbashi issued an executory judgment ordering VUP SA, the Company's partner in the Joint Venture, to pay $2,000,000 as damages, with costs.
As I see it the only chance for RRR to end the next dilution (in + or minus 51 days?) is to get the DRC payment. Reading the RNS's and the time span since the judgement was handed down (28 months ago) plus listening to Bell on his latest stockbox interview not really understanding where the process was in real terms, (as we understand it was I think how he summed up where rrr was in the process?) chances are it's not coming to stop the next dilution and save investors from more pain.
I also notice Bell was too embarrassed? to even do an interview after the last dilution. Not that the stockbox interviewer asked any meaningful questions, a reach RNS version of an interview, limp and meaningless.
Maybe Bell and other directors should share the pain and take a salary cut???😉 Imo.
Thanks for the kind comments Dukey and I do appreciate both you and Helpful indicating my comments are in no way similer to Carp. He went way to far and deserved everything he got.
To be honest HS0 is the only poster who issues threats on here but he's backed off after I summarised his postings and called him out.
I don't know as much about RRR as Help but my track record [ and many others ] on calling this share right is as you say spot on.

Thank you for playing your part on Twitter re: DRC @RRR ie asking.

THE PAST DOES NOT AFFECT THE CURRENT into the short term --------THE DUKE NOW ADMITS. SO, DUKE HAS CONTRADICTED HIMSELF. How? One the one hand ADMITTING THE ABOVE vs the BORING BOY knows a lot. Both statements CANNOT BE RIGHT. Why? If the past is NO LONGER of significance to the CURRENT COMING SHORT TERM, then all that BORING BOY HAS SAID IS ==============HISTORY NOW.===========NO POINT ANALYSING HISTORY AND DUKE NOW ADMITS HIMSELF.
[9] There is a lot of ill will and this will not help matters either. Why? RRR needs the goodwill of the shareholders so that all can benefit. This is a general principle taught in school about the team wins, not the individual. So, its shareholders that need to have goodwill so that things can run smoothly. This is something everyone knows. I am aware that there is also not so good will towards me but my defence is Genesis 12:3 and I have no choice in this.
[10] GAMBLING - the statistics shows few can make it . That is why it is called gambling and no CAPITAL GAINS is chargeable. It does not need skill but stock do, hence why there is chargeable capital gains.
[11] If Zumore's wife left him due to stocks, then I can sympathise but life has to go on in a positive way. Paul Johnson said his wife told him [in an interview] that he had better think of safety for the family first. So, wives tend to be more conservative. Another Japanese man worked for a major investment bank which I wont name. This chap got co shares from the employment scheme and he bought even more on the open market. His wife told him to go for safety but he refused and it ended in a terrible way. So, LOOK AND LEARN before JUMPING into anything.
[12] Duke says Boring Boy knows a lot but TESTED, he appears to be someone that has LITTLE STOCK EXPERIENCE in real life and proven by his OWN STOCKS he has chosen. WHEN ONE ATTENDS LAW CLASS, THE 1ST LESSON, ONE IS TAUGHT, Boring Boy does not seem to know. I looked at some of his posts and LAW CLASS DAY 1, he does not appear to know. Most people NOT attending Law Class Day 1 know. These days, there is FREE info if one doesnt know what a word means etc. So, I apologise if I cannot FOLLOW the Boring Boy if he cannot show a more superior quotient etc as norm so nothing personal. WHERE MONEY IS INVOLVED IE SAVINGS ON ANY STOCK, ONE HAS TO TAKE CARE and NOT just listen. One can check and ask further -------that is why this discussion board exists ie to share, learn etc.
[13] If anyone wants others to follow them, THEN THEY MUJST HAVE A PUBLIC VERIFIABLE TRACK RECORD.
Its the same with HORSES - they have track records, performance stats etc. It is on every page of the sporting times.
Same for stocks and stock gurus. There are lots out on Twitter who have made it big and people listen to their talks eg Rick Rule etc. Their start in life is modest and from the bottom and their performance is tracked in real life. Ah, that is the real deal ie PROVEN and they own co's that can buy STAKES
The loss is in the region of 90%+.
================CONCLUSION: PUT £1 INTO ANY OF THE JUNIOR EXPLORERS DURING THE BUST YEARS THAT HAS HAPPENED IN RECENT TIMES MEANS EITHER 90% OR 99% LOST. ========SO, FACT IS, IF NOT RRR, THEN, EVEN GGP OR SOLG WITH A TIER 1 DEPOSIT DID NOT ESCAPE.========FACT: THE PROVEN FACT, NO ONE ESCAPED.====
Any other proof? Yes, the COMMODITY INDEX OF JUNIOR EXPLORERS IE VAN ECK ALSO BEARS OUT THE UK JUNIOR EXPLORERS IN THE UK SECTOR. So, that is why, traders have 10 screens and what are they looking at? They are looking at data of SECTOR etc and they will know IF the sector is falling etc. MINERS DECK tells which commodity is RISING most, hence the hot sector the juniors will want to get into or the hot countries.
[6] What if X or Y WILL NOT LET IT GO ie the losses? Well, if they dont come to TERMS with it, the TRAUMA continues as norm. The remedy is well known: in recent years, there is SHORTING of the synthetic type & I gave details yesterday. IF THERE IS SHORTING, then the share price GOES DOWN as there is TOO MUCH SUPPLY vs demand. THIS BECOMES A "FUNDING DEATH SPIRAL" as they call it as it is normally a DISCOUNT to the prevailing share price. THAT IS THE SYSTEM unfortunately and if one shared, it would have become known earlier. Chairman Bell @RRR, the Canadian mining industry and now the ex-President of the USA says so about his stock. All can be wrong of what is happening in the market place. WHAT IF ONE WILL NOT LET GO? That is choice but the only health harm is to self as anger moves inward etc & this is all known.
[7] Duke is trying to tell us that the Boring Boy as he is called is ze smart one. One needs to test his HISTORY ON THIS SITE and this is not only for him but FOR FUND MANAGERS, POSTERS. As Nike1980 said last night, Simply Wall St gives ranking performance of FUND MGRS. On this site, people look at the POSTING HISTORY and whether the poster HIT IT BIG. If they did, they would become LONDON SOUTH EAST'S TOP POSTER @NO 1. Why? Lots of people make on that stock and the poster is the one giving the most info / research on that stock. So, unfortunately, does BORING BOY met this criteria on this site? For the answer, CLICK the poster's name and it will come to the PROFILE PAGE to see. On Hotcopper, they gave posters a marking besides their names to denote the same sort of thing. One finds that they tend to be knowledgeable.
[8] Boring Boy et al helps NO ONE to move on. WHO DOESNT KNOW ABOUT THE PAST OF ANY STOCK. Just call up Google Finance RRR or any stock and in 1 chart , it tells share price and date and the chart shows the top and the bottom via using one's cursor. On the London Stock Exchange, they used to use red and green arrows and one will FIND red or green arrows is DUE TO A CO'S RNS, PROVING stocks DONT GO UP OR DOWN FOR NOTHING IE NO REASON.
[9] DUKE now tells it as it is ----------ALL IS FORGIVEN IF MR BELL proves himself. THERE YOU ARE - THE TRUTH HAS COME OUT IE THE PA
Helpful
Thank you so much for the detailed explanation relating to the above subject title. Here are some of my comments:
[1] In recent days, it was pointed out to me that the funder/s are the cause of the share price fall. So, the direction join us. This is something taught at school that those calling to join them are IN fact ze leader with the cause. The rest are sheep who may not know what they are getting themselves into. Hence, independent thinking is taught and to this end, joining the debating society helped, in that it gives everyone A CHANCE to PRESENT their case in point.
[2] The most powerful methodology is to point that ve are the ones to be pitied and they are the rich ones. Hence, why I checked the address published said to be the office premises of RRR. Suffice to say, it was NOT welcomed. Why? Oh, I was NOT going along with the theme of its us vs the co. Ze leader is usually the one who will tell the rest, its the apex principle or triangle where only 1 is at the top.
[3] At Red Rock Resources, the history of the past IS NO LONGER relevant. Why? In the case of Solgold, the share price fell when the major walked off in the Solomon JV. Then, they tried Queensland but this county is not known for high grades so it was not pursued. Then, Cascabel came along & the work of Dr Rohlach, the Geo who did his PhD at Bukit Tujuh deposit proved to be the game changer via standard geological modelling. But as usual, the grades were not even everywhere - there will be higher grade zones and the rest is the shell etc as norm. Tier 1 - Yes, but it is rather deeper than just suitable for shallower mining. If it is shallow, unless there is tonnage, it will also be a shorter life mine, of which majors are only interested in long life mines. So, the wait to get the capex continues of $1.5bn initially. Same for all the other Tier 1 projects. One can search for 10 of the world's biggest undeveloped copper or gold deposits. So, this is NOT an isolated case and Mather said it takes 16 year to get a mine going. Last night on Twitter, they said 20 years.
[4] No CEO can tell any shareholder minute by minute. Mather told from inception it takes 16 years in general, from start to mining so no one can say they dont know. For this reason, Life Cycle of a Junior Miner and Lassonde Curve is insightful. That is where RESEARCH comes in, in general and in particular of mining itself. IF, one depends on others, then if folks care to share, then it is a fruitful discussion where it is not just an echo chamber.
[5] I wont go over old ground but suffice to say:
NO ONE WOULD HAVE ESCAPED THE LAST FEW YEAR OF THE COMMODITY BEAR MARKET. Any proof? Yes, I refer to 3 sets of data of which OilPlayer2009's list of 40 Junior Explorer shows that all lost some 83% but that has NOT been updated as losses have gone to 99% in some cases. ANY EXCEPTIONS? NONE from my experience except GGP & Solg who lost a bit less at 39p to 5p+ and 42p to 6p respectively, so le
Ohhhhhhh Helpful feeling for his best buddy Andrew today, I’m sure he’s ok Helpful, he has skin thicker than a rhino just like you !
As you weren’t around when Mr Carp was I will enlighten you, his comments were a lot worse than on here now and in no way similar to banburys - Banbury seems to know a lot and has been spot on for months/years.
Anyways, you know how the markets are - If AB can start turning s profit all will be forgotten / He prob needs to do in quick time tho as think everyone knows if he doesn’t then another placing is never too far away . Anyways enjoy the sun and have a great weekend all

All sorts go on with AIM companies: I have had death threats on more than one occasion because I won't cooperate with idiot proposals to take over companies and/or replacement management (more than one company). Most of the proposals come from congenital idiots. One accountant rang me a few times asking if I wanted to replace the RRR board and could we work together in it. So the first question is what proposal do you have and the second is how many shares do you have/do you speak for? Answers: no proposal and zero shares. Utter FW!

I wasn't around when Carp was doing his thing: it seems Carp and Boring Boy were very similar in their MOs but Carp went further.
There is a post on here where Zumore commiserates with Carp saying he was hard done to. Supposedly, his wife left him when she found out what he had been up to. Again, like Zumore, Boring Boy, Dick and others it seems the main beef was with Regency Mines (RGM) and it continued into RRR. I understand Carp had multiple IDs on here. Another CEO of another company had similar problems: when they looked into it, the one person had 11 IDs on here. IMHO that sort of behaviour means you have serious mental issues.
The Carp stuff is in the public domain.

I will provide the courtesy of a reply since you addressed it to me. As usual, I am reading Aussie news now. However, back to Greenland graphite. Yes, I know which project you mean. The co's mkt cap is around the £3.79m mark. As for the well known Kvanjfeld REE, it was once a A$100m+ co but now it has fallen to $50m and they dont use the old co name ie Greenland Minerals anymore. They changed the name. The govt had a moratorium on uranium and therefore, it affected Kvanjfeld. So, yes, the only news coming out of Greenland at the momo is the graphite story but its appears that is about the only thing going at the momo. My mention of Greenland relates to RRR - iron ore in Greenland is no longer the hot topic as in the day. Nothing about iron ore in Greenland anymore, bet it RRR or otherwise, so no money certainly.
As for A.Bell, yes, he was in Morgan Glenfield. As I said, RRR is run like a portfolio. Its fine when it is under a fund but once it is co listed, then the constant money needed is not ideal. In the old days yes, it could be done when capital markets were more liquid but now, the situation has changed. Hopefully, as gold gains more attention, maybe the capital restrictions will loosen but one waits to see. Copper is also red hot. Off now. Have a good weekend all. Hopefully, you can bring some ...to this board as you sound like a regular person ie a sense of balance.
There have been some good times in the past with RRR. What the future holds I don't know. I respect the work Johnson and Bell did helping Grreatland Gold restructure, think they went from zero and bits to approximately 2.5p, then after moving on Greatland made world class discovery and went as had been said to near 40p at its biggest peak up till now.
I once read in Simply Wall Street that many years ago Bell was a specialist fund manager with Morgan Grenfell and if I interpreted correctly, was the most successful one in his sector for several years. So whatever people's frustrations or motivations, I think he still deserves some respect. I respect him quite a lot.
No beef with anyone else though, in fact I just had a nice sweet and sour chicken and chips / Chinese takeaway.
Thanks and have a good weekend...
News, regarding Greenland I was thinking principally of graphite, though am aware of a couple of other bits and pieces. I am regarding that the technology of searching has improved and guessing the technology to extract has improved though appreciate those aren't the only ingredients when deciding and assessing what to extract, what not to.
Appreciate this is late but thought it would be too out of sequence tomorrow and expect I will sleep in.
Since NO REPLY, it just means that on Monday, 22 Apr 2024, the stock market will open and the cycle will START all over again as it has been for the last 3 years. It may continue UNTIL something happens ie one way or the other, RRR will have news of project updates.?
Me, I think Maidit308 said, its best shareholders talk to each other but I think I will not want to spend any more time on this forum engaging. I have tried my best but it is not accepted that in life, those who are BLESSED DONT carry such
attitudes which is not positive.
So, all the best folks. I will think over about my RRR shares but if I dont need to post and reply the same answers day after day, I can just wait it out with my RRR shares.
Have a nice week end folks. Thanks Helpful - I can imagine what it is like when a poster posted late at night as you said LoL. Thanks Maidit308 and H5O Fri, 19 Apr 2024 @12 midnight.
Helpful, is what is happening on this forum the same as in the days to the Carp Days?
There are now new people reading and I am also interested. Why? Never seen such ...on any stock forum on this site.
Thanks. Maybe, it will NOT be the same exactly but is the ill-will the same?
One can literally feel it because the feelings of the negative non-shareholders is so strong it comes through in posts?
Thank you. I would like to know. I pity A.Bell, Chairman as it is not stopping but this is not happening any where else ie at any other AIM co. Look at George and his raisings and not 1 sound on Twitter like this. Their raises as Maidit308 said are so much larger. Fri, 19.4.24 @11:25pm. No one in at this time. All quiet.
It appears relentless and I think no one is listening at all to life's principles of success.
Maybe, from the school of an eye etc.
Dont know.
I am now thinking of selling my RRR shares after having read the relentless posts on this forum today. It has been going on for years now. Maybe, I think there is not so good will to shareholders and perhaps it is best to leave it to the disgruntled, they call themselves and in their own words?
To me, never good in life to be so negative towards the co etc. I will think it over the weekend. Fri, 19.4.24 @10.20pm.
I dont know about the Carp days but it must have been somewhat the same situation as today? I dont know ?
--------------------SHAREHOLDERS OF RRR--------------
want RRR to do well. Maidit38 and myself etc. But the others who are NOT shareholders dont want RRR to do well and as they said, they are disgruntled per Banburyboy.
If Banburyboy is indeed an Accountant [Chartered] at KPMG, they tend to earn very big salaries especially if they are not 18 - 23. An auditor per the Daily Mail said one auditor's salary is £900,000 per year. So, how Banburyboy could have lost is beyond me? Why? Paul is a Chartered Accountant but he has learnt geology etc. So, the salaries are very high and losing £3-5k will not break the bank on £900,000 a year salary plus perks. Banburyboy said he is long in the tooth so not a junior 18-23 year old starting out. Dont know what is happening.
However, the more posting one way negative , as Maidit308 said, in life, it is not positive and everyone knows this principle of life. So, it is not about RRR but about the disgruntled attitude and the ...of wanting to find an outlet etc.
But we, on the other hand want RRR to do well.
LoL - two opposing forces. Hopefully, Helpful having done Finance could be of some ear help here to make sure that
Mr Black etc, the big holders will be able to get the Musoni international litigation money. To me, it would have been easy for Big Major to pay RRR some £60-80m upfront to get the licence after the JORC. Cheaper that way than to buy at US$430m from the state miner plus the US$20m the state miner was supposed to have paid VUP, the JV partner.
Everyone would have been happy at the reasonable price. But that was not to be and here we, holders and RRR are at currently. Let us hope RRR will get the DRAFT AWARD SIGNED.
Will patience win the day? It might and without the funders, there is no day after today, as it is with ALL AIM EXPLORERS.
DYOR. NIA. THAT'S ALL ON THIS TOPIC OF RRR. Fri, 19.4.24 @10,10pm.
Contd: was NOT the one. But it was the 2nd LICENCE THEY BOUGHT AT HAVIERON. The dampers said, huh, Newcrest drilled some x holes and NONE of them were that much good. As usual, they said, if it were any good, would Newcrest have given the licence up? What most dont know is that major discoveries were cast offs off the majors. 1 example is the legendary Voisey Bay. Coming back to Havieron -majors tend to drill a few holes and discard etc. One Exploration Geo on Hotcopper Australia said that spacing is usually wide initially and starting from the WRONG POSITION can MISS it. That is what happened and GGP HIT the big intersection with very good gold grade plus copper and the rest is history.
I will come to another study I did. I look at the folks who have made it , say Paul and I see some similarities. I cannot say if Paul will make it big again ie the big one given he may have lost the same hunger needed. Once a person has made some money, they tend not to be as hungry to find the big one ,hence I am watching Paul's few tweets. But Paul may have missed KILMORE.? I dont know yet. So, I think if one needs to make back the money lost, it is best to come to terms with the loss and take it from there. As Helpful said, let us hope x or y finds peace and start from there.
Nike: It was so long ago and when I do the research, it is late at night and I am almost falling asleep. So on Greenland, I have gone through the Greenland Mining register and I recall vaguely that the only project is the REE one that was the talk then. Ah, I also found out, that REE in Greenland can have contamination and that will be of no use. But that got no where yet as the govt is hot and cold depending on the new people who are anti-mining and then lukewarm. Hence, Greenland is not the most ideal these days - Jay is a case in point but they are trying to revive that.
I learnt that metallurgy is also important which I never gave much thought to. I will give 1 example of how 1 chap bought into Twiggy's co and it turned out the metallurgy was no good. The shares fell like a stone when the report came out and virtually turned into ...overnight. Hence, reports can make or break juniors. Anyhow, this chap BOUGHT MORE of these penny stock!!! Twiggy then decided to get the Chinese in as no one listened to him given he can talk. I watched the video done by himself of how he made it and it was a documentary type short video. I checked the details. This investor made it very big. The co became Fortescue, into double digit billions. In the UK, nothing like that has ever happened ie small mkt cap going into double digit billions mkt cap. So, I leave you with some positive thoughts given the mkt is closed on Fri, at 9.50pm and no one is in. Maybe, some positive thoughts will help going forward with whatever one wishes to do in stocks as a general bit of convo. In my case, I find its is that of many people's experience. I tend to look before I jump per what one learns at school. DY
Banburyboy, just as a thought experiment let's imagine there was a lender to a junior stock who also had some warrants. If the company went bust he might have the value of his loan protected, it's not guaranteed - particularly if the company had absolutely no value to its' assets left. If the lender had warrants he would have opportunity to do well if the stock appreciated in value. It there was any possibility of his loan being converted to shares - the lender could do well if the stock appreciated in value. Even if the lender was in a potentially protected position compared to a lot of shareholders, he may have the best opportunity of returns when other shareholders also have a similar opportunity to realise a return.
Sometimes a lender may or may not also hold warrants, may or may not also hold shares but I guess even if he is more protected than the bulk of shareholders, the safest way for his loan to be repaid seems to me for a company to do well.
I will provide some insight into my experience:
[1] I search a lot of stocks on AIM to see which can be the next big project ie preferably Tier 1. A lot of Tier 1's can become problematic in the later stages because capex is high ie into $bns. So, according to the Life Cycle of a Junior Miner or Lassonde Cure, it is the DISCOVERY stage that could provide the text book uplift.
[2] Many will tell of the experience that it only happens once or twice in one's lifetime. Any examples? Yes, Paul Johnson. \He hit on RRR during the 2010 period of the gold boom and RRR boom going from 0.25p to 23p which he has now tweeted himself in very recent days. He was also rather successful in Tiger Metals but the next big hit was GGP. Paul & Bell, latter of RRR Chairman did restructuring of a shell and Paul bought in at 0.10p. Paul has a rule that he will only go to the max 9x as a target ideal. So, he SOLD GGP but it went on to nearly 39-40p and Paul missed the chance of a life-time. One Sunday Times Rich Lister took a 6% stake in GGP at the 1.3p range. He said he was looking for 10p. It did hit 10p but whether he sold at this target or earlier, he did not say. However, this is a No 489 lister and during the downturn, he lost a lot of money in commercial property. He is a household name and he shares the SAME background as Paul's dad. I think GGP saved him. No one understood the results of the 1st 5 holes at Havieron [history now] but it was easy as Havieron is close to Telfer. It is easy to look it up but one has to search pretty hard for the technical report of Telfer as one is looking at first results which was yonks ago.
To prove the point, this former Sunday Times Rich Lister did not hit again big as I he said he went on to Tullow Oil which was past the discovery days. Paul also has NOT hit the big one yet from what I can see thus far, and proves that it is NOT something that happens everyday.
Me, I work hard to go through tons of data and juniors to read results and I dont have a whole dept of researchers so I have to do the work myself. Hence, why I make a lot of typos as my eyes are tired from looking at junior 's results. How to find a junior that has a small mkt cap with a potential of 10x. These days, even 1x is difficult as it is not yet a commodity boom day/s.
There is something that working hard may not achieve. It is to do with one's life and that is why as Maidit308 said, it is not going to help if one is.....I dont think I need to spell it out. Will Paul find the next big HIT? I dont know. Why? Paul has learnt a lot from his days on stock forums and it was said he knows who to listen to. Listen as in? Given some good commentary to cut to the chase I suppose. Paul knows quite a lot about geology etc now but to hit big takes MORE than just knowledge. That is personal to one's life and it helps if one is not ...all the time. One has to ask how Paul fell into GGP to restructure? One has to ask how BLACKHILLS, the first licence was not t
