It is true HH, great quote, answering the questions should have not taken this long even with discrete answers, seems to me it could be a critical juncture. What ever plan they have lets hope it is worth this wait.
He may have the answers, but he may also have to be careful what he says. As Oscar Wilde once said: "There are no indiscreet questions, only indiscreet answers." Thanks Chesy for submitting that excellent and comprehensive list of questions.
Hi Chesycustard, have you heard anything? A worryingly slow reply from someone who should have answers to all those question quickly given his position.
A post by Godolphin on ADVFN Shares cancelled and Rajii terminated (as a director!) https://beta.companieshouse.gov.uk/company/09109848/filing-history
Got through on phone. Sorry not had time to get to my email. Not sure when update coming, vague. Will answer my questions shortly.
No response as yet guys. I have tried to ring and chase but number goes straight to the full mail box this morning.
Thanks, what I have sent Dear Sirs, Thank you for calling be back earlier, please see my questions below: 1 When are we due to get issued our shares in Intelicrypt solutions, it was expected to take 3 months from the February meeting? 2. According to Linked-in Jamie Ridealgh no longer works for the company, is this the case? And if so what is the background to this? 3. What is the view regarding our investment into CQCL and the new re Aranco recently. Obviously bearing in mind they agreed to fund it $50 million over the next 2-3 years. 4. When is it expected that shareholders will get to see the accounts for GOS systems and related businesses? 5. Has GOS now been released from the Canadian regulation/reporting requirements it had? 6. Has the following taken place and do we now have shares in CQCL “The convertible preferred shares are convertible into new ordinary shares of CQCL at a price per share that will be 20% below the price per ordinary share paid by CQCL's expected institutional and other investors in a financing that is currently anticipated to occur in 2015” 7. Can we have an update on our encryption key products due this year please “Touchstone investee GOS Systems has been granted exclusive reseller distribution rights over CQCL's forthcoming Quantum Key Encryption ("QKE") products which will be targeted at governments and corporations that have high security requirements. The sales right covers European sales of the products and the products are expected to be available for sale from 2016 onwards.” I look forward to your response.
Hi Cheesy, some good questions. Maybe enquiry if the new product is being well received.
Well I just had a call back from it. It was FF, I agreed to send an email with my questions. Does any one have any for me to add?
You called the incorrect number. Have a look at the GOS SYSTEMS website. Contact number is available on there for all private investors to call. Enjoy!!!!
Just tried +44 20 3301 9337 to ask a few questions, no answer on a few go's and I cant leave a message as the mail box is full. A little concerning, FYI my questions were: 1. When are we due to get issued our shares in Intelicrypt solutions, now overdue. 2. What happened re Jamie Radleigh 3. What is their take re CQCL and the Aranco news 4. When are we going to see some GOS accounts 5. Has GOS been released from the Candian regulation/reporting requirements yet Foolsgold, did you manage to make contact recently to get that view?
Share Distribution announcements within 1 month.-slight delay due to Canadian protracted delays. Coming to market - news by end of year.... Re-listing sometime within 12 months ...... ALL IMO
SD, Senior people often move on for benign reasons, and I've no reason to think that's not the case here. Jamie Ridealgh's CV does indicate that he moves around a lot. It's very easy to insult professionals while hiding behind the anonymity of a computer keyboard, but in your case your comments are completely unjustified and misinformed. There is no unprofessionalism, and there is no shambles. For some reason, either your character and/or inexperience, you can't seem to grasp the fact that a private company can be successful and valuable, and that the delisting here was in the best interest of shareholders. The results: months and months of incessant, sometimes almost hysterical, whingeing!!! And I doubt that it is just me who is getting heartily bored by it!!
Well said YS! Stephen Hawking, Scientific Advisor to CQCL, is also not the sort to back a dud. The head of Grupo Arcano Alberto Chang appears to have deceived many people, including Richard Branson: April 11, 2016 — 10:23 AM BSTUpdated on April 11, 2016 — 3:47 PM BST " ... “I’ve known Alberto Chang for several years and I have been struck by his passion for innovation and his positive impact in a number of areas from education to space travel,” Branson said in an e-mail before his disappearance. In a follow-up message on Saturday, he said: “I am saddened to read the reports about Alberto Chang. Clearly, this is a developing situation and it would not be appropriate to comment until the facts become clear.” ..." http://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2016-04-11/whereabouts-unknown-chile-money-man-quits-job-company-life But to say that this discredits them is silly. With respect to Grupo Arcano's $50M. investment into CQCL, I believe that it was agreed as a staged investment over three years. I think that it's questionable whether any amounts handed over so far would have to be repaid, though clearly the investment agreement is likely to be suspended. The main issue for GOS Systems is re. CQCL's forthcoming Quantum Key Encryption ("QKE") products, over which GOS Systems has been granted exclusive reseller distribution rights. I don't so any reason why this should be negatively impacted though.
Richard almeda isn't the sort to back a dud. GOS by all accounts is thriving. CQCL, it matters not who backed them. if they got some cash out of them. The main business is GOS there will be others to add. this is there stated objective. I'll be belling the company sometime soon to get an update. So Long
So he would have left around Oct/Nov 2015 then? The writing must surely have been on the wall by then that we were going to lose out listing, I mean us small shareholders also thought that it would be plain sailing and that the team at TGL and Stanhill were professional enough to know what they were doing, shocking. If there was something worth staying on at TGL/GOS for I am sure that he would not have left after only 9 months. Also the Bam Bam post highlights the sort of people we have business ties will in Chili, this is particularly bad news for CQCL of course but I expect that it will not effect us so much. Unfortunately I am sorry to say that everything just adds up to what a shambles of an outfit we have here, I still have a slither of hope that I am going to be proved wrong and will get something back one day. I will never invest in another company involving Stanhill or Khan thats for sure.
Maybe he too was under the impression GOS + SDS would constitute the required RTO and we would have stayed listed. He has a high profile and possibly the de-listing changed his perspective. Obviously that's speculation. However, as shareholders, I do think they need to be updating us with information if he has left. We are definitely due an update in general. DYOR, GLA
TGL actually announced on 1st. July that Jamie Ridealgh was being made a main board director: 01/07/2015 07:30 UK Regulatory (RNS & others) AIM Suspension - Touchstone Gold Ltd "The Company's investment in GOS Systems ("GOS"), a security sector focused technology business, is at the core of Touchstone's investment strategy. In the opinion of the Board, GOS has become an important and valuable asset. TGL's recently announced investment in Cambridge Quantum Computing Limited is complementary to the GOS business, as is TGL's investment in Smart Desk Systems Limited. It has now been resolved by the TGL Board, subject to shareholder approval, that: -- any future acquisitions that might be made will be complementary to GOS; -- GOS' chief executive officer Jamie Ridealgh be appointed to TGL's Board as TGL chief executive officer; and -- the Company's name be changed to GOS Systems." http://uk.advfn.com/news/UKREG/2015/article/67529088 That suggested that since his appointment as head of GOS Systems in February 2015 he had been doing well ... which makes it extra surprising that he should have left in October.
Maybe someone could email Jamie and ask why he left TGL after only 9 months, it would be interesting if he replied. He seems like a reasonably approachable sort of guy.
According to his LinkedIn profile Jamie Ridealgh is no longer with Touchstone Gold. https://ca.linkedin.com/in/jamie-ridealgh-1b9a29b6 He was with the company for 9 months. Of course we are only shareholders so we are told as little as possible by the company. But there is information on the internet if you are prepared to spend time looking for it. I read a lot of misinformed posts on these boards. I don't know why Ridealgh is no longer with the company, but I was surprised at his appointment. I thought that someone demonstrably entrepreneurial would have been preferable. There's also plenty of information about Ilyas Khan on the internet.
How much did TGL have to pay to attract a CEO of the quality of Jamie Ridealgh? Quite a good salary I would imagine; it's called the free market. 23/02/2015 15:37 RNSNON Touchstone Gold Limited Jamie Ridealgh Appointed to Executive Team " Former Western Canadian Director of Operations at G4S Secure Solutions brings world-class operational security and commercial experience to Touchstone London, 23 February 2015 - Touchstone (AIM: TGL), the AIM listed investment company today announces that its wholly owned subsidiary TGL Services which acquired GOS Systems ("GOS") in late 2014, has appointed Mr Jamie Ridealgh as Chief Executive Officer. In his role, Jamie will lead the executive team, and the operations, sales, and product development teams. Jamie brings over 15 years of operational security experience, with a track record in the military, governmental, and commercial sectors across the world. ..." http://uk.advfn.com/news/RNSNON/2015/article/65590566 And if the guys at Stanhill were greedy, why did Ilyas Khan leave over two years ago? And why did they arrange the acquisition of GOS Systems so quickly (soon after which another Stanhill's Waseem Shiraz stood down from TGL)?
SD, No small private company in England that I am aware of publishes quarterly accounts, and in my opinion it would be a waste of time and money to do so when TGL is not listed. I would prefer that they focus their time and money on growing the business. And you didn't even bother to properly read the info. that WAS made available in Ray's AGM report on ADVFN in February, as shown when you were ignorant about the 2017 relisting intention, and yet you are asking for more!! The company ARE keeping us updated, because we know what is happening, when and why, and that's good enough for me. Far from making a pig's ear of things, they are doing exactly the right things: e.g. cutting costs, and focussing on sales. The critical thesis of the Insider Surveillance article was not just wrong, it was bizarre: how can they say that GOS Systems is very good, and is making impressive progress, and yet at the same time say that TGL is very bad ... when the two are in effect the same thing!!
From Bam Bam on ADVFN Some news on the investor who according to a press release last year was going to be a big backer of TGL's quantum computing startup ("In agreeing to invest up to $50 million over the next 2-3 years we are excited and very pleased to become investors in Cambridge Quantum Computing", Grupo Arcano said.) Http://www.bloomberg.com/whereabouts-unknown-chile-money-man-quits-job-company-life Http://www.bizjournals.com/southflorida/news/2016/04/21/missing-ceo-resurfaces-in-malta-millions-missing.html Http://www.afr.com/leadership/grupo-arcanos-fraudulent-tale-has-an-australian-chapter-20160427-gog2vu
I am also of the opinion that the very negative article from insider surveillance makes very good points about the management here, GOS should have been a great little company bought on the cheap, this lot are making a pigs ear of things...(yes more pigs, cant help but think of pigs at troughs!) Lets see some action for a change, something dynamic, anything!!!! WHERE ARE OUR NEW SHARES!!???
Yes HH we have had haphazard updates, but I want to see a company that behaves in a professional manor with regular updates with figures, yes figures, and I would also love to know what these guys are actually paying themselves, is that too much to ask? I have has enough of the fantasy land speculation as far as this lot are concerned. Are there any other shareholders still lurking with an opinion on here as to what is going on here apart from me, HH and a couple of other posters...? Ideally when we are issued with the new shares, they should have the new website up and running, and they should also issue an update with some figures, even a set of accounts, pigs can fly. Then we will most probably find out why they have been dragging their heels so much and what really is going on.
